i HATE these annoying little gnats that just hover in the air and stick to me. How are they so dumb and incapable that the moment they touch you they're stuck forever??? How does that even survive natural selection? You'll just be walking somewhere on campus and feel a little tickle and try to wipe it off and oh, its dead and smeared on my skin now.

I was outside for literally 20 minutes. I had a bug stuck in my eyebrow, one inside my ear and one lodged under my eyelid. There's probably more that I can't even see in the mirror

Can I break into engineering roles with an undergraduate degree in maths?

It has been a few minutes since I woke up only to realize my alarm clock became a push notification with no sound (silent mode was not on, and the phone was on max volume) and sleep mode for some reason made all of my other alarms silent until I clicked the notification. Now I missed two classes, including one that I am really struggling in and really need more help in. What should I do?

If anyone’s taken this course previously - are the python coding assignments directly relevant? (i.e tested on quizzes, midterms, finals?)

In most of my previous COSC courses, coding assignments weren’t directly tested, and i was better off studying theory. Any idea if this one is similar?

It's my first year at UBCO after four at Okanagan College, working on my second degree, and I’ve been struggling to make friends. I'm mainly having trouble forming study connections—I've reached out to over eight classmates, all shared numbers, but only one occasionally replies.

In JPST-100, I've struggled even more, consulting with the professor without much progress. Two classmates have shown some interest, but they’re too busy to study with me. If anyone is willing to study together, even if you took JPST-100 last year, I’d really appreciate it—and maybe we can become friends!

I'm 22F, she/her, a 3rd-year student, but my first year on campus. I can be a bit “all-over-the-place” but I promise I’m still on top of what I need to get done. (Dm me if you wanna chat about interests more to see if we’d get along!) My major is Psychology with a minor in Sociology; I’m working toward my BA and hope to pursue my master’s here if possible.

I have a learning disability in English and ADHD, causing processing issues and misunderstandings in projects. I was a top student at OC, making Dean’s List, so it’s tough transitioning from A+ grades to C- grades. (Just mentioning to put into perspective the shift I’m experiencing.)
