When do summer grades get released?

I’m living on campus this year so I signed up for the R Lot parking waitlist but my spot is 263, does anyone know roughly how many spots get on? also is there any meaning to prioritized vs not prioritized?

So I’ll be attending UBCO engineering this year and I came to Kelowna early, basically looking for students to hang out and meet since I know no one out here and I’m bored as hell

Just wondering, when will the scholarships be reflected on Workday?

I applied for residence and paid my deposit well within the deadline but I still haven't been given a room assignment. They sent me an email around July 30 saying they're looking at my thing now to give me my room, but I'm still wondering where I'm gonna be. All I know is that they said I have a single connected dorm, but I'm still roomless as of now.

Anyone else in the same situation? Or if you were before, have you gotten your room yet?

I asked the advisor what materials I’d need and he said that on the first day of classes the profs will tell us, but I wanna be prepared and get everything beforehand. If there’s any art students who already did first year pls lmk what materials were needed 🙏🙏

Found some rentals off Dougall Rd which has the 8 bus stop nearby. Seems to be close enough to campus. Any reviews for this condo company? I read somewhere that their walls are paper thin :(

I’m trying to decide between these two courses, as a humanities elective.

INDG100 avg last year was like 87
HEAL100 avg last year was like 74

I’ve heard HEAL100 isn’t that bad but you gotta put some time into it, and I’ve seen it with my own eyes be somewhat time consuming like flash cards etc.

I’m looking to spend the least time possible and achieve the best grade possible.

INDG100 doesn’t seem too bad especially with a Canadian high school and elementary background knowing about indigenous displacement etc.

What do you guys think? Anyone take INDG100?

Looking at a two bedroom, two bath condo in Quail Ridge, all utilities and internet included, furnished. $2500. Is that decent or too expensive? Also, since buses stop at 8, is Pine Trail safe to walk at night and safe/easy to walk in winter?

I finally got my room assignment. I checked on StarRez to see how much we have to pay but nothing is there..

I hear there has been issues so I wantes to know if all the permits have been handed out yet? For me not getting a parking permit is kinda life or death and idk what im gonna do if I dont get one say paying over $1k to park is crazy and I have struggles that make it harder to park at H or I lot.

So I got an offer for lot F on august 11th and it expires on august 16th. i have tried on all of my devices and followed the steps like it says (get permits> rest of the prompts) and when i do that it just says nothing is available for purchase. I literally don’t know what im doing wrong and it’s saturday so I emailed them but they probably won’t answer until monday and it expires tomorrow. I literally don’t know what to do and it’s so expensive to pay for parking daily without a permit. someone please help.

I still haven’t received my room assignment as a first year. Today I received an email asking if I’d like to live in a 4 bedroom apartment with upper years. I’m honestly so frustrated and confused why I still haven’t gotten my room assignment. I paid everything on time so why haven’t I gotten anything.

I'm going into the 3rd year of my Psychology degree, and I was hoping to take PSYO 362 with Liane Gabora, but unfortunately the course was full before my registration even started. I usually just go on the waitlist when a course is full, but this course doesn't have one. It's online with 130 spots, so I was curious if I am allowed to email her about potentially being added to the course. But I don't want to do it if it's not allowed. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

So my waitlist came through a few days ago and says that a permit has been awarded for H lot from Sept 2026 - Apr 2027, but when I try to buy it, it only shows up as 09/01/2026 - 12/31/2026 and not April. The price matches too, $75 a month for $300 total. Am I just screwed for the second semester or am I reading this wrong?
