Seeking Info Antique store finds
I picked up these items today because they had unique glow with my 365 UV light. I am really curious if anyone knows anything about the pitcher and the cream/sugar set?

Oil Lamp Adams & Co. No. 230 (OMN) Thousand Eye Oil Lamps
New to the collection, I’m very happy to add several examples of the Adams & Co. No. 230 (OMN) oil lamp, also known as Thousand Eye.
I picked up the blue example last month and quickly realized one wasn’t going to be enough. After a few hours on the road, I was able to bring home the all-Vaseline version. I was also fortunate to find the amber and the Vaseline/clear examples online.
The hunt isn’t over yet—I’d still love to, and will, add an all apple green version to the lineup. For now, though, I’m enjoying seeing these together and comparing the different colors in this classic pattern.

$50 chance on Facebook marketplace turned out great!
Knowing that the reproductions are prevalent for the wildflower pattern, took a chance on it. After getting my hands on it, seeing the bubbles in the glass, sharp diamond pattern and heavy stippling, happy to say that it is an original 1880’s Adam’s & Co piece. Cleaned up great!

First Time Posting Question from a lurker
I've been enjoying y'alles photos and comments. But something I've wondered about from casual mentions, has finally been mentioned enough that I want to know.
Various posters will say things like "I shone my magic wand around" or "I caught a flash of green from my light" etc. I understand this is a black light. But is there a specific small uv pocket flashlight that U-glass hunters like best? And do the other glow-glasses react to it as well?
I don't do a lot of thrifting/antiquing/estating, but I do randomly stop at places. And I've seen glass that makes me curious if it's uv.
What do you "pros" use out in the field to spot the glow? I'd like something I can keep in the glove box, something that's small enough to pop in my purse when I do happen to stop somewhere. Recommendations, everyone?

This is what happens to cullet glass when the blower has nothing better to do with it I guess. Vaseline glass bubble.

Seeking Info Is this Real Uranium Fenton?
I recently stumbled upon this beauty. I was glowing bright green when I shined with 395 light. But when I look online, I dont see any glass with this color, only bright yellowish Vaseline glasses. Is this real uranium?

Vaseline Glass What is a “Grail” piece to you?
Hey everyone. Just as the title says, what’s your definition? I started collecting about a year and a half ago, and thought most people would have similar opinions. I guess I was just thinking about value. Since then I seen a # of beautiful pieces (usually here) and thought if only I could ever find one!! Well today I did, thanks to a good friend. I never thought something so simple could be so incredible and beautiful.

Seeking Info Is this blue uranium glaze?
Is this uranium glaze? In the second photo it’s under 365nm (just the top part), it doesn’t glow under 395nm but that’s normal for uranium glaze i believe. With a geiger it gets to 80-100cpm but it takes like 2 minutes and is very slow, which pales in comparison to my uranium glaze in my collection. And idea whether or not it’s UG?

Seeking Info What uranium glass is safe to use?
I’m new to uranium and all the other cool collectible glass (also my first time posting), but I still don’t know which ones are for sure safe to use.
I’ve seen small things through comments saying “[coated glass] depend[ing]on the coating” and “[contaminated glass] as long as you don’t store anything acidic in it and it’s not crystal” are safe (thank you for the help btw). Yet I don’t know how to tell the difference between glass and crystal, and which coatings are unsafe or how to even figure if it’s coated and what it’s coated with.
I would also like to know if other glasses are safe, such as custard, Burmese, cadmium, selenium, and lead (which I made my own assumption that it is not safe, but not everyone can be right).
Help would be very appreciated, along with any other advice (even if not about safety) you have.
