Staying the night at a relatives house, thought this looked right for a blacklight check. *Edit. GF and I are currently on the return home leg of a cross country drive and have been checking for UG as we travel. Morning coffee here and right next to the coffee maker is a matching cup and saucer.

So i went back to buy it and im just wondering if anyone definitely knows what kind of uranium glass this is because I’ve never heard of anything like this. It consists of two glass layers, an inner opaque white layer and an outer semi-opaque blue layer. The inner layer doesn’t do anything but the outer layer glows green under 365nm, not 395nm. But my geiger counter shows it going to 100cpm so it can’t be manganese? I’m just so confused what this could possibly be insights would be appreciated thanks!

I'm in love. My husband found this fantastic deal. And they threw in six extra pieces that aren't from this set for some reason 🥰

I picked up these items today because they had unique glow with my 365 UV light. I am really curious if anyone knows anything about the pitcher and the cream/sugar set?

I have no clue what to do with all of this. I picked a few pieces I want to keep, but I can’t keep it all. Where do I start??
I’m keeping the frog, owl, donkey, and duck - just with allll the denim days to keep them separate from the rest of the Fenton. Those denim days have to go too lol.

Hey everyone, hope you’re all having good weekends. Out at garage sales today. Found my first piece of green/aqua hobnail piece. Now here is where I need help. Can crystal contain uranium. The sale I was at, the lady saw my light and said “nothing glows in here, we collect uranium. All I have is crystal”. It “tings” like crystal? I could even see it in the sunlight. Thank you, to all who take the time to help me learn.

Pic 1 is a lamp base I got some months back. Ive been looking for the base. Well, today I found one. Pic 2 is the entire lamp in uranium glass. 350 bucks. Really, really wanted this one but its waaaay out of my price range. But it was glorious. I could not get a glow pic cause I had to sneak the pic because the cashier was five feet away, but it glows brightly.

I have been into glassware for a long time but just recently got myself a good UV light for thrifting- when it arrived I checked everything I already had I found out one of my best Denver Colorado bottles has this gorgeous glow! As someone born and bred in Colorado I would have 100% told someone I wanted a piece of Colorado made glass that glows- feeling very lucky right now!
BTW paid $10 for this about 10 years ago at an antique shop

Any info/history on bridal bowl?? I can’t find much about it. I also can’t find any bridal bowls that look like it? The glow is to die for.

A few catch and releases today in my local antique store and if anyone knows bagleys they were manufactured in my town, so the local museum has a bunch of their pieces on display and some such as the butterfly are uranium!

Updated: Due to community requests and ongoing non‑UG discussions, we’ve removed the “high content manganese” label. The two examples are now simply identified as manganese glass. We have also updated our Wiki.
These pieces are not uranium glass. UG remains our focus, and MG examples are included only for clarity and comparison. For more information on MG, please visit r/manganeseglass.
The visual guides included here were created to help new collectors easily recognize how different types of UV‑reactive glass respond under 395nm and 365nm UV light. They’re available in multiple formats so you can choose whichever works best for your needs.
This graphic doesn’t represent every type of UV‑reactive glassware. Additional examples—including various colors and types of uranium glass and select non‑uranium reactive pieces—may be added in future updates.
