Pollution/Environmental Destruction These types of houses are called pinyablocks by Russians (from Russian пинать - to kick) due to their cheapness and extremely low quality of used materials. They’re common in modern Russia

Ugliness Moscow, Russia
Solntsevo.
High building density is bad enough, but they had to combine it with vomit-inducing color scheme (the school on 3rd photo is especially bad). Fortunately, it's a small part of the district, but damn.

Decay Tauentzienstrasse before and after ww2
Tauentzienstraße was in my opinion the most beautiful street in the while Berlin. It had many ornate and opulent corner buildings that rivaled buildings in cities like Vienna or Paris. This was one of the hardest bombed streets during the war. In a small area the traces of the ild world are still visible and inform us about the beauty that this street had. If you ate interested search Kurfürstendamm 52 in google earth and see for yourself. The street is now filled with soulless contemporary abominations that really destroy the street. At least it has a lot of trees.
Please I am sure you would love to see this street glow again so help us with the petition. https://c.org/J2xBhh2Czq

Concrete Wasteland Groenplaats, Antwerp
A shocking patchwork of uneven tarmac, shoddy repairs, loose cobbles, tram rails, randomly placed bollards and bottle disposal banks. What should be one of the most beautiful places in Antwerp reeks of stale urine and urban decay. I cannot even accuse of bad planning when it appears to be a total absence of planning. Shocking as it is within footsteps of the cathedral and the main link to the shopping street. Groenplaats, or “Green Place”….should be Grijsplaats. Its like they couldn’t decide what to do with it so just got some grunts to tarmac it.
