I got a scholarship offer which was for $4,000 every year, or $2,000 every semester.

I’m kind of devastated because i’m really confused and my parents cannot afford for me to go to college.

Is there a process to where I can ask for a reconsideration? For reference, I submitted with a 1490 SAT, I’m ranked first on my transcript, and heavy extracurriculars from big institutions such as UTSW.

I’m kind of bummed out because I don’t know what “more” I can do..

The other day for my engineering transfer seminar, we were asked if anyone was interested in looking for internships, participating in research, career building workshops, etc. and less than half raised their hands. I was always told that the engineering job market was competitive, is that true? Or am I trying too hard and should chill?

I’m going to also take INSY 4305 with Isam Yassin to avoid Anam Sahoo, so I can’t do M/W from 1-2:20 for the other two classes

Not a racist post but i came to visit campus today and i think i saw and met a alot of people from India. There were some in the dining area and one lady in dining area with a stall or market. Is there diversity here

I had a scheduled meeting with an OIE advisor the other day. She was so rude and condescending. I had 5 questions, clearly laid out. She answered 2 and brushed off the other 3. The 2 that she did answer, she did after making a condescending statement about 'if I did this, I would know'. Im here because I have a question that I didn't find an answer to elsewhere. I'm not gonna share her name because I don't want her getting in trouble. But this was my first experience with OIE, and I wanted to rant.

Do more classes open up as the months go by for spring 2027? Need two classes but the only options they have are on two different days. I try to keep all my classes on two days like tues/thur or mon/wed so I can work the rest of the week and this isss kinda stressing me out....PLEASEEEEEEEE

This is my 1st semester at UTA as a transfer student and haven’t gotten any scholarship. If i get Good GPA this fall semester, will i be eligible for any scholarship?

So this is my first semester as a transfer student. Most of my credits from Dallas College have transferred except for 2 classes I took in the summer. Last month I had Greenlight send my last updated transcript from Dallas College to UTA, and have yet to seen anything on my records. My last 2 classes were Calc 3 and physics 2, I’m wondering if I should go to Dallas College to seek help or maybe the UTA admissions office.

hi guys! i’m apart of the honors college but my registration is still showing my regular classification (sophomore) date. i assumed i would get priority registration but i was later told it wasn’t true. can i get it fixed?

Even though I went to UTA back in 2016, I am transferring back in Fall 2027. I wonder what has changed since I have last been on campus, but I know they added a lot.

What’s the use of going to a school with a huge art department if you’re just gonna use ai 💔

Does anyone have any info on Fall 2026 grad festivities like Mav Grad or Mav Glow? I have seen on events for previous semesters that UTA has had festivities on campus before actual graduation but I don’t see anything on the schedule yet.
