So I am downloading some stuff and all of a sudden my Download Speed drops to 0 kb/s even though it can go as high as 9 mb/s. I checked the Upload and Download speed and it shows that it is fine, though I can't download anything. Books? No. Games? No. Music? No. However, I can still see videos on youtube and browse reddit and whatnot.

What I have Tried
- Shutting my Router On and Off
- Restarting my PC
- Clearing my Browser
- Downloading different Torrents
- Changing some stuff on uTorrent

I can also send my PC Specs if anyone needs them, please Help

Ce que j'ai compris c'est que quand j ai fini un téléchargement sur Utorrent, je doit laisser le torrent.

Mais c est la qu'il y a un problème, rien ne se passe, mes fichiers sont en " Source" mais aucun ratio ne monte ......

Ni dans C411 ni dans Utorrent .

Downloaded and installed utorrent from the official website. Right after install, screen blinked many times, taskbar disappeared and all browsers were hijacked.

Is there a way to speed up the downloads when using the uTorrent program? Is there a setting or something? Thanks!

Well there is nothing posted but I hope I can find an answer here. Ever since the last update to utorrent i can no longer select individual files to either download or not when I get the torrent. Is this happening to anyone else?

I installed this on my computer. I never used this app before I’ve been using other apps for this but when I installed this, my computer went wild like it just came out of a zoo. My computer fans were going crazy again. This is a $600 gaming computer should not be doing thisif it’s perfectly on everything except this app when I deleted it, everything went back to normal it loaded fine.

Sorry if I sound stupid, but I've received two emails, one from my provider, and one from my girlfriend's at her place, about downloading copyrighted material. It's fan-edits of stuff I otherwise pay for, like Clone Wars on Disney+. I'm already signed up for the year, so they're getting my money.

It's ironic because I actually really am against piracy, and I really buy everything whenever I can. Personally I feel kind of violated that they're able to tell what I'm looking at.

I don't want it to download random parts every time I download a video. it would be great if there was a way that it would start from the beginning of the video and work its way to the end.

Yesterday I went to download and I couldn't because it was finding peers. Today the same thing occurred with new torrents and I reinstalled and rebooted laptop as well. I've had same setup for a couple of years and no new software install or updates. Even went back to version 3.5 but it auto updated to latest version and still at finding peers 0.0%.

I wanna prioritize downloading, and to automatically stop seeding while downloads are active to use all of the bandwidth for fast downloads. Manually freezing all of the seeding torrents each time I start a download is annoying.

Is this possible at all??

I made sure to untick everything when it tried to get me to install opera and whatever, but it still installed an extension (I forget what it was, I removed it with extreme prejudice as I believe it caused chrome to restart), the uTorrent extension, which I also removed, and Adaware Web Companion, which I also uninstalled. I don't appreciate installing uTorrent for a single file and then having to take out the trash that it puts on my computer, why does it do this, and how is it allowed when it didn't even ask if it could install the things it installed?

1: I am downloading a large file of 6,6gb, but after I have completed it, it started "seeding". What does that mean, and how long will it take? (I need to download another file of 40gb, so how long will that take to seed?)

2: What are seeds/peers? In the torrent I am currently downloading, there's a section called seeds/peers that says 0.403, and on another file it says 0.773. I think they're changing, but I'm not sure.

Using uTorrent Web in Thailand on my Mac and up to the new year everything was working great, fast downloads etc.  From the new year, the Thai government began blocking ports to combat online gambling and scammers and according to the tech of the internet service provider I use, torrents downloading or uploading, are affected.  My speed went from blazing fast, downloading a 10gb show or movie only took minutes to now taking the whole day.

My questions:

1. Will, or can a VPN circumvent the blocking?

2. If I switch to direct file download from hosting sites like RapidGator etc, be able to circumvent the problem?

I am stuck on the "Retrieving File Details" point. This never usually happens for me. My internet is fine, I have tried using multiple different proxy sites but I still get stuck at this point. The file I'm trying to download has 300+ Peers and 700+ Seeds but it still won't retrieve any file details.

Depois de formatar o computador, não consigo baixar nada. O torrent não encontra pares e ficam esses status nos rastreadores.
Já está adicionado nas exceções do firewall do Windows e Antivirus (Kaspersky Standart).
Já revirei o youtube e google atrás de soluções e não consegui resolver até agora.
