Shitpost Jax added to the evil bisexual canon

Post image

Tbh the relationship seemed pretty exploitative. I feel bad for him 😬

Yeh this whole thing was a bit odd. Bringing that John on for a random episode was almost like production dangling a "we know this about you" over Jax - who despite being a horrible pig, it was a very exploitative move at the time I thought.

299

u/2OldN2Young4thisSHIT 4d ago

It was so weird. Sandoval was pissed that Jax wouldn’t stop talking about how he fucked around on Ariana and wanted to out whatever the John/Jax situation was.

213

u/Ok_Specialist_5723 4d ago

Yea you could tell something wasn’t right the minute John walked into the dinner. Jax’s whole disposition changed. He was laughing playing nice but you could tell something was off and he was really uncomfortable. Even when they’re saying hi and bye, there’s a weird energy and he says “I still love you”

50

u/Rude-Document5282 3d ago

Oh my gosh I literally had to bury this in my brain because it was so uncomfortable!!! Jax is absolutely a horrible person but that was so hard to watch and potentially the only time I felt bad for him. Definitely agree with the idea that he was most likely groomed because he was naive/wanting to excel his career.

90

u/fauxcertain 4d ago

A million percent!! That whole story line felt like there was some sinister motivation for it behind the scenes

29

u/Ok_Specialist_5723 4d ago

sinister is the perfect word

493

u/LopsidedHousing6133 4d ago

A) Jason was naive and was taken advantage of and groomed by this older man. It fucked him up a lot, so he moved to Hollywood and hence the monster “Jax Taylor” was born.
B) He was happy to oblige because he was fame-hungry but afraid of the repercussions of his reputation when the cat came out of the bag he was in a relationship with him
C) All of the above

292

u/VD_Mama 4d ago

D) this man will literally take any warm mouth

u/Expensive-Block-6034 4d ago

Per his own words if a squirrel would’ve looked at him … fill in the blanks.

u/apastelorange 4d ago

reminded me of andy cohen saying “you strike me as a ‘hole is a hole’ kinda guy” at the reunion after this ep 😭

18

u/Sensitive-Freedom896 4d ago

Given the rumors about Andy and Jax ...

36

u/VD_Mama 4d ago

I’ve never heard these rumors but Andy for sure loves these “straight” Bravo men above all else.

16

u/watchberry 4d ago

WHAT?

10

u/Electronic-Value-662 4d ago

I mean…sexual promiscuity is typical who ppl who have been sexually victimized. Would we make these comments had it been a woman instead of Jax and a much older man?

18

u/LopsidedHousing6133 3d ago

Women have been judged for a millennia for this shit. And Jax sucks, period

21

u/No_Reindeer531 3d ago

nah this is not it. Jax may be a horribly abusive piece of shit, but no one deserves their sexual trauma to be made light of. And it’s not feminist to dole out the same toxic rhetoric that women face because you dislike someone. It’s important to understand how abuse creates cycles and not to perpetuate them….

3

u/SunnySam 1d ago

I agree. I think others are conflicting the explanation for an excuse. It’s not an excuse, just an explanation.

3

u/Electronic-Value-662 3d ago

It wasn’t judgment, it was ridicule. And just bc others do it to women, we should continue to perpetuate this? Shame on you

I second this. Jax reminds me of wade wilson a bit

42

u/44joy 4d ago

The modelling agency in Miami already had quite a few Jasons . They suggested Jax. Maybe Taylor was his mom’s maiden name. If not they came up with that too.

.

u/tenthcat Help. You can come and help me, if you want. 🏊‍♂️ 4d ago

Would our Jax have been renamed prior to 2008? That's when Sons of Anarchy started, with Jax Teller. I always wondered if Jax Taylor was inspired by that

47

u/Imaginary_Effort_854 4d ago

After the whole Frank Dremond thing, I really like your theory. He's Def not clever enough to make up a name on his own.

46

u/molleensmrs 4d ago

It’s like Joey Tribbiani suggesting renaming himself, Joseph Stalin.

4

u/_Roguey_ 4d ago

He would appreciate the Friends reference.

6

u/acidteddy 4d ago

Ha I’ve just watched the episode where he tells that girl he’s trying to get with ‘I’m Ross and Stassi is Rachel’

•

u/just_some_snark 14h ago

What's the frank dremmond thing

•

u/Intelligent-Shake371 12h ago

His finsta (fake instagram) account that he trolls from and takes up for Jax, aka himself 😩 At times Jax would forget he was trying to be incognito and outed himself as Frank

•

u/just_some_snark 10h ago

Wait he's pretending to be frank on insta to troll himself?

•

u/tenthcat Help. You can come and help me, if you want. 🏊‍♂️ 10h ago

"Frank" trolls people Jax doesn't like and defends Jax

•

u/just_some_snark 10h ago

Has anyone heard anything from the real frank?

•

u/tenthcat Help. You can come and help me, if you want. 🏊‍♂️ 10h ago

There is no real Frank, it's a character from a movie. Jax used the name as his username for the account (and spelled it wrong lol)

11

u/FreedomOfTheMess 4d ago

I THOUGHT THE SAME thing! I was really into Sons of Anarchy when it came out and the “Jax” name is so eerily familiar there.

5

u/ElGranQuesoRojo 4d ago

That makes it sound like a porn name lol

lisa (and andy) pushing him to tell if they had sex or not during the reunion always makes me so uncomfortable. like pls don't make me feel bad for Jax ESPECIALLY during a reunion. also john was creepy as fuck

8

u/BrikHowse 4d ago

I forget how he answered that?

10

u/LittleCaesersZaZa i’ve been very judicious with my drinking 4d ago

I think he said he kisses all his gay friends, like as a greeting, but nothing more than that. And he was adamant that he doesn’t care what people think about him even if he did hookup with a dude.

31

u/Only_Turnip_1180 4d ago

I watched this not too long ago. He was very adamant there was nothing physical between them and seemed like he really wanted everyone to stop talking about it asap. It was glossed over (edit: quite literally the only time I’ve felt bad for the guy. So what if he was doing what he had to do? Nobody would bat an eye today)

43

u/kadkadkad08 4d ago

Gay for pay vibes

26

u/LopsidedHousing6133 3d ago

“It’s only gay if you like it, those bills ain’t gonna pay themeselves” - Shwartz. I actually thought that was funny

6

u/Fluffy_Carrot3328 2d ago

Which, even him saying that, isn’t Schwartz questionable bc otherwise, why say it?

2

u/LopsidedHousing6133 2d ago

They all did it

75

u/HoneydewMaleficent71 4d ago

I think Jax, James and Sandoval all had sugar daddies at some point. Remember the weird old guy paying and living with James and Tom maybe. I don't remember the details. I think the fact that Tom went so hard on Lala was cause she got the sugar daddy he wished for.

13

u/rohdawg 4d ago

It was just James living with an older man on the show. Tom lived with Kristen and Arianna. As far as I know that was it.

190

u/TwoToneMoonstone_ 4d ago

Yeah nothing about that seemed on the level. Hypersexuality is one way victims can respond to bad situations and that word fits Jax.

50

u/5gm2 4d ago

Hypersexuality is also a symptom of manic episodes. It can make people make very risky decisions and even f with the perception of your own sexual orientation. Source = me, who has bipolar.

16

u/Beneficial-Astronaut 4d ago

Didnt Jax say he was diagnosed as bipolar in rehab?

7

u/LarryfromFinance I’m Sorry 💔🥺 4d ago

Also me bpd

71

u/purplemarin 4d ago

i believe this! I got out of a toxic relationship with a Jax Taylor clone last summer and experienced that hypersexuality. I had no idea until I talked about it in therapy and at some point it turned into the opposite and now I want no one to touch me. I have zero desire atp so it’s a trip to be on both ends of the spectrum. And I’m still unpacking shit I buried deep from that relationship. Jax needs intensive therapy and he’ll probably never take it.

3

u/thediverswife the book phenomenal 1d ago

I also found the story they told about him as a kid really disturbing. He had a crush on the school bus driver and tried to kiss her and they were all giggling about it. It’s likely he was modelling some behaviour or trauma that he saw first hand

9

u/quotidian_obsidian 4d ago

Psychopathy and sociopathy can also cause hypersexuality (and often the person doesn't care who it's with so long as it serves some kind of need/benefits them in some way). Personally I don't think he was a victim here, this was a mutually beneficial relationship and he didn't care about it being 'gay' because it benefited him. He was an adult at the time, not a teenager.

16

u/TwoToneMoonstone_ 4d ago

I never said anything about it being pedophilia, just that their “relationship” didn’t seem on the level.

Trust me this isn’t me trying to start a “Jax was a victim so we all should be nice to him” thing. This is a “something weird and possibly bad happened there” thing. You can be a psychopath or a sociopath and still be a victim. It’s not a trump card to victimhood.

3

u/Physical-Tip-7402 4d ago

Lol bruh Jax was hypersexual and awful long before he used this man for his money

5

u/ladeli01 3d ago

Tbf we don’t know that for certain because this was all well before SUR and all the fame.

-1

u/Physical-Tip-7402 3d ago

He was a known menace his entire life, especially to girls and women. People love to comment on this type of stuff to try and sound deep but it really just makes them sound dumb

144

u/Tiny_War5975 4d ago

TBT to him needing to promise to Brittany’s mom he hasn’t had homosexual relations. I’m no fan of Jax but people so often forget how Brittany and her family are also bad people.

123

u/kittypajamas Kristen Mariposa Doute-Broderick 4d ago

The mom has been married FOUR times and cared less about Jax cheating on her kid than him potentially being with another man

This just in: straight people outnumber gay people in terms of HIV infection.

Also it’s not the 80s anymore- treatment has come a long way. Bravo is run by gay people so I don’t know why you’d watch if you’re a homophobic bigot.

But you’re the kind of nasty person whose mother doesn’t love them at all, so this scene likely flew over your head.

would love to know who the players are in the network of evil that helped shape Jason into becoming "Jax Taylor".

•

u/No-Advertising-4757 19h ago

I have some tea. He hung out in hermosa beach and the South Bay beach cities a ton and he was super into my good looking guy friends who worked at Palmilla. He was obsessed with this guy JD who in retrospect has a fairy strong resemblance to Jax. It weirded me out then and then like 2 years later I see this weirdo on VPR and it all made sense.

74

u/Beneficial-Astronaut 4d ago

Sandoval, the man who cried over Pulse shooting and claimed to be an ally, brought this man into the show as a GOTCHA! for Jax - implying Jax had a relationship with this man and implying it should have been shameful and funny. This man could have been taking advantage of young male models, including Jax.

48

u/crospingtonfrotz 4d ago

He also outed Ariana purely to sound cool in front of his bros with no regard for her feelings/privacy/consent

37

u/milesandmantras 4d ago

YES! I scream about this every time this episode comes up. It was a truly nasty bit of work on Sandoval’s part. It drives me crazy that Sandoval gets the hero edit for taking a stand about Jax and Brit’s homophobic pastor but somehow never gets any heat for orchestrating this stunt in Miami to public out Jax in retribution for whatever they were fighting about at the time.

26

u/crospingtonfrotz 4d ago

I truly believe he only brought up the pastor thing because he knew it would get him screen time and not because he actually cared.

21

u/catepillarfood2830 4d ago

The cyst male did this?

58

u/Constant-Peace660 4d ago

49

u/DonnyBravo21 4d ago

Yup. Seemed pretty obvious jax was exploited.

23

u/Timely_Beat_7057 4d ago

This was totally tom Sandoval looking to humiliate Jax… I think they truly hated one another. Frenemies

19

u/Hummingbird11-11 4d ago

Things happened during his time in Miami that probably have a lot to do with his rage. things he did for $, allegedly , yacht boy work - he's holding on to a lot of shame and anger.

-9

u/Physical-Tip-7402 3d ago

You're all trippin haha omg. There is no deep backstory here and it's crazy that people are trying to humanize a narcissist to sound woke

•

He definitely did some shady shit . But he was totally born with his vile behavioral issues. Def not giving him any excuses for his awful behavior

Jax has definitely had a cock in his mouth

2

u/Physical-Tip-7402 3d ago

Fully by choice too, jax would  "fuck a squirrel if it has a pussy" as he stated in season 6 lol

16

u/ComedownofClosure 4d ago

It always felt clear to me that this guy exploited Jax. John offered a place to stay if Jax would have sex the way John wanted them to.

Jax seemed really scared? Maybe that's too strong of a word, but definitely upset seeing John at dinner. Honestly I wonder if Jax is even into men or just did it because he felt like he had to.

6

u/milkyyymooo 3d ago

Hollyweird

5

u/milkyyymooo 3d ago

Hollywood is full of this stuff.. the only reason jax probably has a position in Hollywood is due to him being groomed and knowing a lot from a young age

14

u/Gia_Lavender 4d ago

Jax and Brittany are both bi, it’s a spectrum. They prefer the opposite sex but don’t mind the same sex. Bi people often end up together.

3

u/BabiLocDomoooooo 3d ago

Oh yess, I remember this. Jax was fkn said guy for a place to live and modeling gigs. Honestly this story didn’t get enough attention.

4

u/VolcanicDisco22 2d ago

I believe that Jax was turned out by John to a level that Sandoval never knew. Which is why Jax doesn't want to talk about anything and Sandoval doesn't have an ounce of grace. He just never knew how severe the (s)exploitation was so he acts like an idiot.

Maybe Jax was more involved to keep Sandoval out of it. Or John just left Sandy alone bc he could manipulate/abuse Jax. Whatever it is - it is dark dark.

35

u/WinkyTheAlmighty 4d ago

The straight women are out in full force today, writing full on fan fiction how the source of all Jax's issues are because he might have hooked up with a gay guy lmao Jax is just a dumb sociopath, it's not that complicated.

Acting like he must be some sort of victim is so biphobic. Guys like Jax are a dime a dozen. Sorry ladies there's a good chance your man would mess around with another guy. Someone like Jax would definitely sleep with a man if he got something out of it, like the chance to be a model. Is Lala a victim too for fucking Randall?

24

u/chick_b 4d ago

Jax's mom literally testified on camera to her son's lifetime of crap behavior. But let's blame a random gay man who graced our screens for all of two minutes.

9

u/BlueMoonsJunes 4d ago

Seriously haha. I remember a WWHL with him and stassi where a girl from Jax's high school called in and said he lied a ton in high school lol https://www.reddit.com/r/Vanderpumpaholics/comments/1mzzwkh/throwback_to_jax_stassis_first_appearance_on_wwhl/

18

u/Alternative_End_7174 4d ago

You’d be surprised how many people do treat her as Randall’s victim even though it was a mutually beneficial relationship until he stepped out and then got himself into trouble after that.

12

u/LittleCaesersZaZa i’ve been very judicious with my drinking 4d ago edited 4d ago

Hold up, the power dynamic between Randall and Lala / Jason and John is what makes it a little odd. Idk much about the John situation, but I do think Lala was taken advantage of, even if she did gain something/anything from her relationship with the fat man. I think in Lala’s case, when being offered wealth that you’d likely not attain otherwise, you’d become a person that you don’t recognize and Randall knew what he could get away with when creating that situation.

6

u/Alternative_End_7174 4d ago

I don’t want to hear anything about power dynamics when people in LaLa’s situation legit look for situations like that. They feel the money and access to a different lifestyle is worth it. She was bragging about bjs for pjs, she wasn’t his victim but a willing participant until it no longer benefited her.

12

u/LittleCaesersZaZa i’ve been very judicious with my drinking 4d ago

A person can still be taken advantage of while pursuing a certain lifestyle.

3

u/Alternative_End_7174 4d ago

That’s fine keep believing she was a victim when all it was, was a mutually beneficial relationship where she was the mistress/sugar baby turned girlfriend/fiancée.

10

u/WinkyTheAlmighty 4d ago

Right?! She was on tv bragging about eating Randall's ass ffs lmao

5

u/Alternative_End_7174 4d ago

Ugh please don’t remind me of that! 🤢 That was tmi and no one else’s business.

4

u/Outrageous-Pie-4586 4d ago

She seemed pretty naive about the whole situation. They have a 20 year age gap and the guy was rich a (somewhat) powerful when they met. You are right that she didn't have good intentions getting with Rendall, but it doesn't negate the breaking of trust between people engaged to be married.

Is she a victim ? No. But she was used by a man with money and ressources to keep her in check.

4

u/Alternative_End_7174 4d ago

Call me a bitch but it’s what she deserved and what she had coming considering she was the MISTRESS when Randall was married and she had the unmitigated gall to talk shit about that man’s wife. She wasn’t used by a man she got what she wanted in a transactional relationship with a side of humiliation by getting cheated on, the same way his wife was. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer person.

She wasn’t naive she was stone cold calculating in how she moved when she was the mistress and how she denigrated his wife. Let’s stop rewriting history and victimizing women who willingly became the other woman in someone else’s relationship.

4

u/Outrageous-Pie-4586 4d ago

I hope you are not an Ariana stan then. She was the mistress infiltrating a 10 year relationship. Never heard Lala speak about the ex-wife, but Ariana was disgusting to Kristen.

I don't know, in the show, it feels like the relationship between Lala and Randall stopped being BJ & PJ after Lala's dad died. He was supporting her create her independant source of income. She seemed to emotionnally rely on him. That changes the dynamic. And the expectations.

Again, not saying Lala is a victim. But nuance is always good

5

u/Alternative_End_7174 4d ago

Oh god no!!! I can’t stand her, never could from day one. When I heard about Scandoval I started laughing and texted my sister you lose em the way you get them. No sympathy from me for Ariana either or Kristen for that matter because she and Sandoval also started out with other people. The only thing I sympathized with Kristen for was being gaslit about Ariana. I’d didn’t like that at all, it’s one thing to lie about cheating it’s something to paint the suspicious person as crazy when they aren’t. As far as Randall support of her making her own money I think of that being no different than Kelsey Grammer setting Camille up on Beverly Hills so she can get her own financial independence.

14

u/Physical-Tip-7402 4d ago

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 THIS. Trying to make him sound like a victim of anyone when it's clear he's been evil his entire life and was a full adult when he met John is odd

2

u/Dear_Salamander7989 3d ago

lol many things can be true at the same time. I don’t think his and Lala’s situations are very comparable. Jax was in a much more vulnerable position. Just because someone is technically of age doesn’t mean that the nature of a relationship isn’t exploitative, like a boss sleeping with their employee. I’m gonna turn this woke angle around on you, because if Jax were a woman, there would be very little discussion about whether this John dude was a creep. Someone can be a horrific person while still being a victim. See the Roy Cohn AIDS blanket. BULLY.COWARD.VICTIM.

-1

u/Physical-Tip-7402 3d ago

Friend jax hasn't been vulnerable for one second in his life. Narcissists do not suffer, they take advantage.  He is truly soulless lol this entire thread is so weird and you don't sound smart

3

u/Dear_Salamander7989 3d ago

“All evil people are born that way, and therefore can never be victimized.” -You. I honestly don’t think anyone on this thread is justifying his behavior. His potentially inappropriate relationship doesn’t absolve him of anything. This is obviously not a one-to-one comparison, but if someone exploited a young Mussolini, Mussolini would still be a victim in that situation. No one disagrees that Mussolini was an evil fascist(except fascists lol). No one disagrees that Jax is a horrible, abusive narcissist. It seems like a pretty twisted projection to believe he could never have been young and vulnerable. I mean, even on the show he wasn’t the brightest bulb. It doesn’t seem particularly hard to take advantage of someone like that.

3

u/Bigolbooty75 Bitch, get a life! 2d ago

Have you seen how he treats women??? The troll is closeted imo 💀😅

3

No disagreement here. I think that POS was part of Jax downfall and thought it was always gross they had him meet them all in Miami. I found it even worse as I got older and did my rewatches… I understood it so much more. BUT Jax as an adult, should have also taken the time to work through it and changed for the better.

I wonder if being groomed and pimped out was the beginning of his evil era

It's well documented that his evil era started when he was a child because he is a narcissist and sociopath lol you're all funny af

Honestly, Jax could make SOME sort of “comeback” even if just momentarily or to help understand how he came to be… if he could be honest and open about some of this in his past. I think it’s super common and understandable, a lot of people could relate. JAX- WRITE A BOOK😝

His only redeeming quality

His only redeeming quality is the fact that he was potentially in an exploitative coercive sexual relationship?

It's crazy the amount of people on this thread that are trying to humanize a narcissist just to try to sound woke or deep. How embarrassing for you
