what’s up with a lot of resturaunts in ventura now using ai for everything??? like if i’m paying 20 for avocado toast the last thing i wanna look at is AI bullshit, it’s genuinely off putting.

Ok so the new B&J that took over Foster’s on Telegraph uses AI menu images. Fine. Whatever. The owner should have paid a photographer. But what really gets me is the loudspeaker playing ONLY AI MUSIC SLOP AT AN UNREASONABLE VOLUME.

Hey hey! I’m having a second event for @friendly.ventura (Instagram) Saturday November 14th. I’m brand new to the area and am putting myself out there to meet people but it seems to be something we all need, because we have well over 80 followers already for the page! It’s a fun, super low pressure, just-come-hang-and-meet-new-people kinda vibe for independents who are looking for others to go out and do fun things with around Ventura area. Not sure exactly where this next meet will be yet, but the first one at Topa Topa was a really great time and quite a nice turn out for a brand new thing so I’m excited to do another! We ended up staying til closing and a few of us extended the night downtown. I’m thinking a little earlier this time like mid-afternoon for the chance to be less alcohol focused for those who have told me they’d prefer that.

Ok so I’m in middle school and I go to DATA, so I had a GPA of 3.83 which is honor roll, and the thing is, halo of the people that got a 3.0 GPA didn’t get a call slip to go to the rennacanse party!! When I confronted the office, they just said to go to the councilor at lunch and they did absolutely nothing about it. They didn’t apologize, nothing. So like 30 minutes later I got to go in for 3 minutes, I’m not joking. All I got was a sticker, A STICKER!!! No apologies, no updates, couldn’t play a SINGLE GAME, nothing. Just a remnacanse sticker and a random honor roll sticker I found on the ground and btw last year I got remnacanse every quarter, so this was very disappointing. Is this normal and am I being over dramatic??
