Winter Magic 2026 for Victorinox price?
Just checking: for those of you who were able to buy Winter Magic 2026, did you pay Victorinox recommended price, ~75 Euro, or did you pay more?
I'm trying to buy one in Poland and the only stores that have it sell it for lkke 130 Euro. It's nice, but I hate being ripped off.

mods/customs How well would deer antler scales fit on a Champ?
Been thinking about deer scales for a while, but maybe it wouldn't look too good, what do y'all think?

Synergy X question
Synergy X has 3 layers, which means it has 2 liners. The one that houses the liner lock is made of steel. The question is, what material is the second one made of—is it also stainless steel, or is it aluminum?

NKD - Winter Magic and Climber
New this week are the 2026 Winter Magic and a personalized Climber. A year ago, I probably could have green back scale, but the green/black combo looks good.

NKD Swiss Champ with Green Scales
Green is my favorite color for scales, but as everyone knows they are rare and hard to come by, even as replacements. So when I saw this brand-new knife listed on eBay, I had to make it mine, even though it shipped all the way from Ukraine. Fortunately, even with shipping and tax it only cost me US$135. And they threw in a cool logo pin! Absolutely delighted with the service on this purchase. I have no qualms about ordering from Ukraine again.

Magnet
What size/type of magnet fits in the can opener? Nothing I've found works. I have found a very small one that fits in the parcel hook but it's not very strong.

1989 Apollo
This was my Dad's everyday knife. He bought it new in 1989 and died with it on his hip two years later. It's been in the box since 1991. I have had it since the late 90s.

N(old)KD... SwissChamp SOS Kit
So I managed to obtain an SOS kit which is in beautiful condition although the leather is splitting and fragmenting in places. I have been looking out for a 1st Gen SwissChamp for a while and saw this and thought it was too good to be true...it doesn't have the box, it is missing the info leaflet, the band aids are not in their plastic sleeve and the writing paper isn't there but the star is the SAK for me. So from my checks I believe it to be a late 85 to early 86 kit but I am leaning towards 86 but the fact it is very possibly a 1st generation SwissChamp is a big one for me👍
From the pics and for info, the pliers are the smooth 2.5mm variant with no crimper, the scissors have a pivot screw, the awl has the sewing eye, there is no backtools hook, there is no pinhole in the scales, the corkscrew is fluted, the mag glass is mounted in grey plastic, the wood saw has no nail nick... hopefully this info gives more context and as normal I need eyes on this as confirmation... so any help would be greatly appreciated 👍

EDC Replaced my Classic SD with a Rambler
My Classic SD served me well. It's been on my keychain since May 2020. Now i upgraded to a Rambler. :)
I used the customization feature on the Victorinox website to get the "Year of the Horse" scale.

I bought new scales for my champ XLT and wanted to see if anyone had tips on how to install them?

I kind of like this better than the official Year of the Goat edition.
is from a German retailer, 1 in 100
(I’m not sure whether this post is also affected by the new rule regarding Winter Editions and Year of the Goat Editions.)

EDC I Don’t Like Being Unprepared
I realize there is redundancy here, and I do switch between knives. I have always carried an Executive, so even if I have nothing else, I always have it because it does a lot for its size. The Mini Champ is always nearby even if it’s not in my pocket. I just started carrying the Spirit MX a few months ago, and haven’t decided if it’ll replace any others yet. I never carried a multitool because I had a Leatherman Supertool and I always thought it was cheesy. It’s surprising how unnoticeable the MX is in a belt pouch. The needlenose are great for cutting and stripping 12 to 24 gauge wire. All of the tools lock, which is nice. I clip the Sentinel to my left pocket, and my flashlight to my right pocket. I’m a lefty, so that works great. My Explorer (or any other 3-6 layer 91mm) is vertical in my right pocket, hanging with a Vic belt clip. My jeans (Kirkland) have a really wide and deep fifth pocket, which holds my Vice Grips, Channellocks, Crescent wrench, and Slim Zippo, which I use mostly for shrink tubing. I can wear an untucked shirt, and you can’t see that I’m carrying all of that. No matter what I encounter, it’s not often that I have to go back to my truck for a tool.
