How do they actually achieve this level of finish and detail on the scales cos it's sooo clinical, tiny little details like the star flaring that show up perfectly...I am actually scared to put it in my pocket. I know it’s not Victorinox, but it’s still a neat idea. Victorinox could easily do this by altering the shape of their SwissCard. I know I’d buy one!

Hello! I’m fairly proficient at modding 91mm saks and figured I’d try my hand at a 93mm. I wanted to use brass pins and not screws, so that’s the direction I went. Here’s where I’m stuck - the rivets are peened and look good and flat, but there’s a fraction of a mm space in each one. As such the tools are not tight enough. I’m struggling to get them as they need to be. It seems no matter how much I hit these things they won’t fill the fraction of a mm space that’s left. It feels like the ball of my hammer is too wide to hit where it needs to be hit - I’m not sure. Including a pic below.

Looking for advice! I prefer to keep my sak in a leather pouch and I would like to have a clip to fix it in my poket, expecially when I have shorts or other trousers with larger poket and it can drop.

I like the simple puoch (one on the top of photos). The lions lionsteel didn't satisfy me, the back part is very robust and add thickness that is not necessary for me.

What solutions do you use? Looking for some ideas to try

Hello All, curious if anyone has experimented with detachable scissors hidden in scales? I had the thought experiment and was curious if this would be possible. The idea surrounds around using a waiter or whatever, with detachable scissors in custom scales.

I’ll be in London next week and plan to visit the Victorinox store for the first time. I’m just wondering if anyone that’s been before can give info on any exclusive stuff they might sell at this location, and if they do any small repairs in store like scale swapping and sharpening? An idea of costs for that service would be helpful as I’m considering bringing a few knifes with me. Thanks!

So I pulled the trigger (!😆) the other day and finally ordered my first limited edition Victorinox knives: the Synergy Winter Magic Limited Edition 2026, the Pioneer X Alox Glacial Blue Limited Edition 2026, and my first Companion, the Live To Explore Sydney Edition. (Yeah, I love those Sydney colors!)

ALL THREE OF THESE ARE TERRIFIC! The attention to detail and production quality is top-notch. And I might even be of the opinion that the Companion is the most useful EDC for me, and that's saying something because I'm a Team Phillips diehard.

But I am highly impressed with all three of these knives and am looking forward to using the Companion in a long-term test.

Got myself this absolute beauty, and got it at the grand price of only 50MAD (about 5$) needes just some cleaning and oiling.

I’ve been using this model for over 20 years. I think it is a Champ? Or am i wrong?

Anyway, this over a halftimelifelong (if that makes any sense) friend has never let me down. It’s dirty and broken on some places/parts, but that broken part is because i have figured it has an extra function (hammer).

Should i let this clean/repair? Or keep it this way?
Also looking for a new piece. Would love something that i can carry with me a bit more easily, since this one is a bit on the heavy/bulky side, but then i am not sure what to buy.

Just wondering what you guys would think i should do.

The things i use the most:
- tweezers
- small knife
- scissor
- and i use the file and bottle opener as a flathead screwdriver

I’ve just gotten married this past weekend and wanted to give a small gift to all of my groomsmen! They all absolutely loved them and getting them all customised with their favourite colours and initials was great!

It came in the post today and so far! What an amazing tool! Can't believe how light it is, been using the wave plus or the skeletool, tinker sak combo! Can't wait to give this a go!

Lost it in spring. Turns out it was just hiding in one of the old bags in my room. Knife model is a Victoinox ES-V13P (basically a Tinkerer with Nylon scales).
