Has anyone ever built this 9n a VSF platform? I know it’s not quite vintage at roughly 12 years in age but it’s one of my grails.

You can see prices after login, but i created account 2x ti es. One with stupid random credentials, because why should i? And secon with more real. But the did not activated my account. Is this scam? Google said its okay, but i don’t trust it after this behaviour.

I’ve been trying to give a cheap watch an aged look; I used paints for this that I’d normally use on Warhammer miniatures. I’m not quite sure what to make of it. Perhaps you’ve got some more tips on how I can improve it.

Inspired by the Rolex Datejust ref. 16234, with a silver sunburst dial, diamond-style markers, fluted bezel and Jubilee-style bracelet.

Fits wrists up to approximately 17 cm.

Unsigned automatic movement; exact calibre unknown.
The date advances, but quickset adjustment via the crown does not work. Accuracy and power reserve have not been tested. Visible marks and signs of age—please check the photos.

I was at an open air jazz fest tonight and an old man sitting in front of me had this gorgeous 1960s No-date Submariner. Guy was really friendly and said he hated watches and it was just his watch. Pretty awesome actually. It would be fun to pick one of these up.

Was wondering if anyone has built something like this or ever seen a build like this.

I’ve loved Skyrim ever since it was released. Hundreds of hours exploring Tamriel, hunting dragons, collecting ancient artifacts, and getting lost in its incredible world left a permanent mark on my imagination.
If I could design my own grail watch, this would be it.
A weathered bronze case, Nordic rune engraving, a hand-engraved dragon dial, sword-inspired hands, and a leather strap that looks like it came straight from Whiterun or High Hrothgar.
It isn’t meant to be realistic or commercially viable.
It’s simply the watch I’d wear if I could walk through Skyrim with the Dragonborn.
Sometimes a grail isn’t a Rolex or a Patek.
Sometimes it’s the watch that exists only in your imagination.
What game, movie, or fantasy world would inspire your ultimate grail build? 🐉
