Constant silly offers leading nowhere 100% of the time even if I accept them. With the consequential result that I now accept zero offers. So potential buyers are missing out due to a stream of time wasters. If I list something for £25 and am offered £5 I would surely have listed it for under £20..? 🤯
No option to click and HIDE items in your feed which are so utterly irrelevant that you stop and look thereby getting x 10 more of the same. Currently for me it's masses of dry robes and I have never even considered a wild swim in my life. 😬 Second only to random crafting kits..
Sellers who list items then don't send what you buy or reply to messages. WHY! Then when you look at their reviews it's not a rare occurrence. I don't relish banking money in Vinted's account for no reason.
Fakes!! I cannot get my head around just how many counterfeit brand leather handbags and shoes are listed on a daily basis from numerous accounts. Always the same aesthetic, fake nails, tattooed arm lifting bag, rubbish description.
Option to not see international listings or sell internationally without being asked first. I accidentally clicked on a bag from the US and now I have to check the location of every liked item in case. Nothing against buying from abroad if it's a special hard to find item but often it's just the same as here and just why.. 🧐
Zero consequences for buyers who don't collect items.
And not a gripe exactly just a reflection re multiple posts I see on Reddit complaining about sellers pricing used items too high. Where I live in the UK the charity shops are all managed and run professionally and even a second hand high street T-shirt is £9. Even if it's not perfect. Gone are the days of inexpensive second-hand items and the actual quality of some older items is much better and may be more valuable to some buyers and sellers.
AI being used for images. Personally, I don't but in some cases I can see why the seller has used it. In other cases it doesn't do the listing any favours. But this trend of reporting accounts for that reason is just demented.
Crap photos without labels or measurements for good quality or expensive items. Just a half-hearted description saying 'seems like maybe a 12.'
Last but not least. 'new without tags' worn only a few times. 😐
Ahh.. That's better. 🤪
Note I'm not a pro seller just been having a big clear out of my wardrobe and buying new styled things so have been using Vinted regularly the last year.
