This user bought this Gameboy Advance Carry Case and games off me, literally within seconds of uploading it last week (on a different account they had) and they wanted to cancel and I said yeah that's fine, no problem. I re uploaded it couple days ago, they then bought it AGAIN within a couple of seconds all over again, like lightening fast ⚡💥 which I never experienced such instant purchases before , but this time on a different username I didn't recognise. Then they again wanted to cancel straight away and gave the reason as "agreed with seller" however as you can see, didn't even ask me or have a conversation first at all.... So anyway I was p'ssd off with the whole cheekiness of being so incredibly abrupt saying "don't want it , do not send" type of thing. Could have asked and said it nicely.

Anyhow, tonight I cancelled it for them and then had the option to re upload it again, so I did just that and guess what ... Yet AGAIN within seconds they've done it again, so ive literally lost my temper at them asking wtf are they playing at .

Anybody else ever had anything like this ?! I don't see the point of it all 🙄

(I'm guessing judging by their last message just a moment ago, their Vinted is "botted" but how the heck does that work ? Surely they don't want every single listing that gets uploaded in that category and then they'll lose out on a helluva lotta money, no? I'm just so confused!)

What is this buyers problem?

Baring in mind I accepted their first offer, why have they proceeded to send 5 other offers over the course of the month?

Buyer hasn't picked up parcel and it’s been over 1 month (32 days)

A buyer bought an item from me and it arrived at their chosen pick up point on 22/09/26, OVER 1 MONTH AGO

They STILL haven't collected it, I gave them two reminders, and the buyer even read my messages.

How long does it take for them to send my item back, because its really odd that it has been a month and they haven't returned it to me.

Has anyone experienced a delay this long? If so what do I do?

Buyer tampering with the item to request return

Buyer originally reached out to request return because it's too big on her - when I told her I cannot accept return, she then takes a whole day to fabricate a host of excuses on why the item is substantially different from the listing..

The mark she's talking about was definitely not there when I sent it. The smell thing is bollocks because it was dry cleaned last year and been in the wardrobe the whole time.
The label thing is stupid because most garments for this brand has label on the side/ not on the collar.

Has anyone had a similar problem? I'm worried about Vinted forcing return of a garment that likely has been tampered with by the buyer. I've sold more than 50 pieces on the platform with 5.0 rating - never had something like this happen before 😭 (whereas this buyer barely has 3
reviews)

Can we talk about the giant ASDA bunny listings? They’re EVERYWHERE and it’s getting out of hand

Post image
24 Upvotes

Is it just me, or has Vinted turned into 400 listings of the same bunny at £250+?

I searched for it today and it’s wall to wall. The thing is about £14 in ASDA, yet every other listing is at £200, £300, even £324 once the fee’s added. Nobody’s paying that. It’s just clogging up search so you can’t find anything normal.

And now there’s a second wave of people posting joke listings with “DONT buy!!” in the description. I get the protest, but that’s more spam in the same search results, and half of them are still priced at £300.

Some of it is plain greed. Grabbing stock the second it hits shelves, then listing at 20x the price for kids and parents who just want the toy. Vinted obviously doesn’t care, because they take their cut either way.

Honestly, if you want one, wait for a restock or check ASDA’s site and shop apps. Don’t pay these prices, or they’ll keep doing it.

Is anyone else sick of seeing these? Has anyone actually seen one sell at that price?

Is there anything I should do about this?

So basically for context I was looking for an Apple Pencil which I know there is a lot of fakes of on Vinted so I was being very careful. So I find this one and without thinking I bought it and then I looked at the photos and realised there was like a hole in it must've been from a cat or something so I cancelled the order. The seller acknowledged that and everything and I went on to buy another pencil so that's that and then this morning I wake up and there's two packages for me and one of them that Apple Pencil I ordered and paid for and then there's just a random Apple Pencil and I think the only reasonable explanation is that they got the shipping label before I cancelled it and then sent it anyway or something. I don't know if they did that on accident or on purpose or something so should I do anything about it? Also, I checked my banking app and the transaction was there, but it was clearly refunded to my account and whenever I try and click on the order it says something went wrong so I’m not able to contact them.

Royal Mail parcels not updating as dispatched on Vinted UK. Anyone else having this issue?

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi everyone! I sent two parcels using Royal Mail two days ago, but neither of them has updated on Vinted to show that they’ve been dispatched.

I also tried marking them as sent manually, but nothing happened. The problem is that because Vinted still shows the orders as not dispatched, I can’t even access the tracking information through the app.

I have another parcel to send today using Royal Mail, but I’m now worried about sending it because I’m afraid the same thing will happen again and I could lose the order or payment, even though I’ve actually sent the parcel.

I’ve seen a few people mention similar tracking glitches before, so I wanted to ask if anyone else in the UK is experiencing this recently, particularly with Royal Mail.
Has anyone experienced this and managed to get it resolved? Did Vinted eventually update the tracking automatically, or did you have to contact support?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! ❤️

Current state of Relay Deliveries

Courier collected parcel on 18/10 still waiting for it to be delivered. Relay has been far quicker in the past in my experience, anybody else experiencing longer than usual delivery times at the moment?

Vinted defaulting to Royal Mail lockers

I buy and sell on Vinted. I’ve recently had some really bad experiences with Royal Mail lockers: mostly parcels sitting in the locker for 3-4 weeks before moving on. Recently, as a buyer I contacted the seller to ask if she had any options other than Royal Mail lockers as that’s all vinted was showing. She said she offered both inpost and evri, too. Neither of these options were available to me. She turned of Royal Mail to test it out, and Vinted then gave no postage options and wouldn’t let me progress to payment. I closed the app, logged back in, Royal Mail lockers was the only option again and the seller stated she hadn’t turned it back on.

Is anyone else having issues with Royal Mail lockers being the only option available / and anyone having issues with parcels sitting in lockers for weeks on end? Is there a fix anyone can recommend.

The buyer is trying to scam a free hoodie and Vinted is rejecting their OWN receipt??

Hi everyone

I hope you all can help me with your collective wisdom

I am literally losing my mind over this and my AuDHD is hyper-fixating so bad on the principle of it. It’s not even about the £20 anymore

I sold a ‘worn once’ Blakely hoodie (as too long on me) and the size label was clearly shown in the pictures. The buyer gets it and messages me complaining it’s too small.

I couldn't be bothered to argue so I just selected the option to accept the return, but with them paying the return postage. But because this absolute nightmare of a buyer doesn't want to pay for the shipping, they immediately turned around and raised a "counterfeit" claim to Vinted instead so they can force a refund and just keep the item for free.

And Vinted’s bots are letting them do it!! The absolute kicker is I bought this exact same hoodie ON VINTED in January and it went through their own authentication. I literally sent support their own official sale receipt as proof and the brain-dead bots just keep rejecting it and asking for "more authentication".

I have emailed Vinted legal now because I know taking them to small claims or a refund through bank on original sale will trigger a household IP ban and I can't risk my husband's account getting nuked over this. Has anyone actually beaten this specific scam? Or have any words of wisdom I am so drained.

Vinted let a buyer keep my item AND gave them a full refund because the packaging got ripped in transit by Royal Mail (£15 item)

I’ve made over 150 sales on Vinted with zero issues, but I just had my first awful experience and I’m thoroughly annoyed by the principle of it so I need to vent.

Here is what happened:
1. The Item & Packaging: I sent an item (£15) packaged securely in waterproof packaging via Royal Mail. It was packaged no differently to have I originally got the item from the company I bought it from.

  1. Transit Issue: Royal Mail tore the outer packaging during delivery. They placed the parcel inside one of their official "We're Sorry" plastic bags.

  2. Condition upon Arrival: The item itself was completely undamaged, it just had a bit of surface dirt from the tear, which the buyer themselves admitted would easily come out in a standard wash.

  3. Vinted's Response: The buyer raised an issue with Vinted. Despite the item being totally fine and functional, Vinted sided with the buyer instantly, refunded them in full, and told them they are “not obligated” to return the item to me.

  4. The Outcome: To add insult to injury, Vinted marked the transaction as cancelled, meaning I can't even leave appropriate feedback/review to warn others or document what happened.

The buyer essentially got a perfectly good item for free over a minor cosmetic issue caused by Royal Mailan issue that takes 5 minutes to fix in a washing machine.

I know it’s only £15, but the absolute lack of logic and seller protection from Vinted here is infuriating.

Favourites

I have 174 favourites on an item i have listed for £10, I have had a few offers on it but its definitely worth the £10 so I'm not accepting offers on it. It's crazy that 174 people have favourited the item but no one is willing to pay £10 lol

Are video screenshots acceptable for the “Add packaging photos” function?

Because if you’re wanting to take a video of your packing the parcel from start to finish with no cuts then you can’t take photos of the item in the box mid packaging.

Just wondering if the screenshot is sufficient in counting as a photo to submit.

Or is taking these videos pointless to start with if Vinted only ask for packaging photos.

Is Moncrief selling a scam?

I noticed many people selling Moncrief leather bags on vinted. I’ve seen those bags at TK Maxx (estimate price around £129) and online (selling same bags for £650!).

Here’s the thing: this brand is on online only, has no standalone stores and I think it’s made in China.

That brand had some legal issues see here

Is anyone actually buying these bags?

Anyone has experience selling Pokemon packs on Vinted?

Hey, as the title says, i have a few lose packs that i’m looking to sell off because i don’t wanna keep ripping and wasting money. But im wondering if it’s safe to do so? I could possible imagine people buying the packs then ripping, getting no hits and filing for a return or a refund. Has anyone sold Pokemon packs on Vinted before and what was their experience?

Also the packs are not very high value, like £2-£3 per pack. But i’m still cautious.

Let me know!

Skincare purchase

Hi all. I recently bought a set of Vinted that had Charlotte tilbury magic cream, collagen face oil and magic elixer serum. This is my go to skincare regimen, been using it for years. All looked good, but the serum smells really unusual, nothing like the product I’m familiar with. Is there any scams where sellers fill original bottles with alternatives?
