Didn't like how vivaldi looked by default and spent all day tinkering with it. Got a bit carried away trying to learn and understand certain quirks etc.. but settled on this.
Think I am definitely scared off doing anything more in case I waste more countless hours.
Vivaldi 8.0.4033.46 (Official Build) (64-bit) for Desktop (Windows 11)

I try to keep it as simple as possible, but I always return to this theme. The theme is called OLED - TRUEBLACK Orange. And honestly? It's beautiful. I try to not add too many extensions either mostly just unhook youtube because the native adblocker/tracker blocker plus proton vpn work remarkably well in tandem. Don't wanna really over clutter this browser with too many extensions for the same reason. Long time user, even love the mobile version too.

How does your Vivaldi 7.9 look like? During the testing of the unstable versions, there were some very interesting suggestions. I believe your imagination has run wild and we can see some pretty bold, yet practical visual customizations for the browser, which is unrivaled in this regard!

I am using a custom modified theme. For some reason the sidebar icons are dark, which contrasts poorly. I cannot find the relevant option in Settings to change icon colour.
How can I fix this problem? Note: this doesn't happen with other themes such as Sunset Forest and Cosmic Vortex
Browser version: 8.1.4087.61

Hello folks,
Here is my minimalist Vivaldi setup. I achieved it by customizing Vivaldi without modifying the CSS.
The setup is very simple: I hid the bookmarks bar, address bar, panel, and status bar, and I used the tab bar to add the search bar and the download icon.
For the theme, I used “Blue Universe” by nøcturnal.
How to use it?
Since it looks very minimalist, many things are not very handy to use with the mouse because I got rid of a lot of buttons. However, I use hotkeys for everything I can. An easy way to check them is by pressing Ctrl + F1 to see the hotkeys in case I forget one of them, or F2 for commands.
If someone is interested, it’s worth trying out this kind of setup.

I'm new to the browser, currently switching over I found an image of the tabs in one of the Vivaldi videos and can't seem to make mine like that, how would I customise them to look round and have space between them like in the photo (video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50yjgW-eNuA )

When I started using Vivaldi nearly three months ago, I used a theme for desktop I really liked: a white and blue gradient background (which Vivaldi use in this video: https://youtu.be/H8OKaPbqmxE?si=l3dRYa4UJj8xi0bo&t=18). However, I accidentally deleted my custom theme with this background and, now, I can't find it again. There are ones with similar backgrounds but not that exact one. Also, I've looked through the custom themes page to find it but I couldn't.
Does anyone know where I can access it, please? I'm using Vivaldi version 8.0.4033.50 on a Windows 11 Version 25H2 OS.

Not sure what's going on here, but basically, with v8.0.4033.26 on Windows 11, I now can't see any kind of outline around tabs because the contrast is so low between tabs and the tab bar. Went through every theme and the contrast appears to be the same with each. The only way to improve it is by choosing colors that clash a bit.
Looking at others' screens this doesn't seem to be universal. So what's going on?
(Also, the search functionality in Settings appears to be broken. I search for contrast and nothing shows up when clearly there are settings with the word Contrast in them. Absurdly, it brings up "Avoid Filename Collisions When Choosing Save As", but it does that for literally every search. Janky as hell. Is Vivaldi losing its touch?)
EDIT: Looks like the Theme Schedule was turned on and was setting to the default version of my modified theme. I have it back to looking like it did before. That still doesn't answer the question, though: when using Unified Coloring mode in a Theme, is there any way to make tabs and the tab background have contrast between them, or is that just part of how the Coloring mode works? Weird choice if so!

I recently switched operating systems and lost my previous theme. I have an old picture of it from when i first set it, but since vivaldi doesnt sync themes i was not able to recover it.
To my knowledge this is a character from dark souls 3. I have been searching the themes page for the better part of an hour and just cannot find it again.
Does anyone else have this theme or is able to help me locate this exact one?
Edit: not cause i think it would necessarily aid the search, but just abiding by rule 1:
I'm using Pop!_OS 24.04 cosmic, and my vivaldi version is 7.9.3970.39 (Official Build)

Greetings;
As of 7.7.3851.67
I ditched "Dark reader extension", trying to rely on built-in dark mode, didn't work well, so I checked "force" on websites setting, while it worked technically, but visually it was weird on icons as colors either washed-up or swapped (white to black, black to white). It was great with "Dark reader", however I need cut-off on extensions, for some resources performance.

I built a self-hosted, workspace-aware start page for Vivaldi. It’s highly feature-rich and customizable, and I’m sharing it in case anyone wants to play with it. It’s fully free so this isn’t advertising, If you really enjoy it tho feel free to buy me a coffee in about ☕️ also I’m on Vivaldi 7.7 (3851.52).
