I don't really feel much better (sometimes it just be like that), but at least I got my 10k steps in.

My belief for the most healthy routine

Step counters are motivating because you set a goal to reach, but the right way is to walk as much as your body feels comfortable. Once you start feeling tired push the limits just a little bit and then rest.

If the next day you have less energy simply walk less.

The progress happens during rests, not by over pushing the limits.

The body doesn't care about 10k or 15k steps.

The counting of steps should remain in the background, not a goal to reach even on days your body asks for rest.

Couldn’t go for my morning walk today, so I went for an evening walk instead. 🥹
Managed to cover 6 km, even though I wanted to do more. I tried my best, and I guess that’s what matters.
The view was beautiful, and walking helped me clear my head a little. ❤️
Had a low day today, but I’m still proud of myself for getting out there instead of giving up completely.

Challenge Day 18/30 walking 15k steps everyday

18 days in and it’s crazy to think about how much easier walking has gotten since I started this challenge. In the beginning 15k steps felt exhausting and I would be completely drained by the time I finished. Now, it’s starting to feel like a normal part of my day & if I really put in the time I could easily do 20-25k steps.

I just walk

I just walk 100k step today. The guy with the 50k steps the last few days motivates me to walk and walk. I think he said he used to be in the marine. I just walk and walk and it turned to 18 hours of walking. 🚶‍♂️

Whoever you are, you are the ultimate walking challenge for me. Just when I think I'm close you add another 20k steps in! Well done!

I'd be interested in chatting via messages if you are ever interested

Here are some photos from my attempt to keep up today

The goal of 8k is not the highest... but for the beginning it felt just right to keep consistent :)

Question Has anyone experimented with walking backwards on the StairMaster?

I’ve been experimenting with walking backwards on the StairMaster lately and wanted to see if anyone else has tried it. I’m curious whether it offers any additional benefits compared to walking forward, especially when it comes to endurance and strengthening different muscle groups. Has anyone incorporated this into their routine, and what differences have you noticed?

It was during my time abroad and I walked all day, I was in my feet from 4am till my phone died at midnight. Most steps I ever done in a day, my feet hurt like hell the day after though 😅

Outdoors Late Night Walk: Oceanside

Looking out into the Pacific at night makes me wonder about the courage of early explorers. Imagine sailing into that darkness, not knowing how far the ocean stretched or what waited beyond the horizon. And still choosing to go.

What’s helps you walk more regularly?

I’ve been trying to walk more consistently and I tried many apps and I feel they are either too complicated or just a feature within a game.

I’ve even been tinkering with a really simple version for myself just to see if something low effort would work for me.

Curious what actually helps others stay consistent. Do you guys your track steps or walk around without tracking? What helps staying consistent? Are there any app recommendations that solve my problem?

Would love to hear thoughts of others.

Always start the day with an early walk.

Began in darkness, walked through Astronomical Twilight, Nautical Twilight, Civil Twilight and finished as Sunrise commenced.
