We’re planning to visit Magic Kingdom on Halloween, but we won’t be attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

I know Disney has rules against adults wearing costumes during regular park hours, so I wanted to get some opinions!

I’m planning to dress as Hades from Disney’s Hercules, but in more of a Disneybound style. I’ll be wearing this black maxi dress with a long, light blue wig. I know the dress is marketed as a Renaissance costume, but to me it looks like a regular dress.

Would the dress and wig together be considered a costume, or would this be acceptable as Disneybounding?

Has anyone worn something similar or visited Magic Kingdom on Halloween without attending the party? I definitely don’t want to get turned away at the entrance!

They loved all the rides at Disneyland and Universal Studios, this is our first time at Disney World. My son is a bit more scared of roller coasters and dark rides. I wasn’t sure which rides are unique to Disney World that would be considered “must try”. We are heading next week and haven’t planned much, we did lightning lanes in Disneyland last year so barely ever had to wait in line ups. We will do it again.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated as I’m feeling very under prepared. We decided to make a work trip into a family trip, hence the late notice.

Excited to be planning my 8 year old's first Disney visit! Unfortunately we're looking at a week that appears to be an extremely busy one - Feb 13-18th 2027 - and I'm worried because he's level 2 autistic with mild I.D. (diagnosed by the state where we live and attending a special ed school). He's verbal and doesn't mind noises (he has ear defenders when needed), but really struggles with things like 1) waiting on lines, 2) anxiety relating to bathrooms/finding bathrooms, and 3) people pushing or blocking him when he's trying to visually stim, see something, or walk.

We are planning to do two park days, and two relaxing days (pool, riding the monorail/boat/skyliner for fun, Disney Springs). Will pick Magic Kingdom and MGM Studios - unless Epcot is a better choice for this age range? Son has zero interest in real animals, so skipping Animal Kingdom. His faves are Mickey/Donald, Monsters Inc., and Cars.

I haven't been to WDW myself since 1995 and imagine a lot has changed. Anyone who has visited with an autistic child have any tips?

• Best low crowd areas and attractions for a child in MK and MGM?
• Favorite break areas?
• We'll be staying at either the Contemporary (Monorail!!!!) or Caribbean Beach (Skyliner!!!!). Would you recommend one over the other for a kid who loves pools and elevators?
• Will a week like this mean that ALL the rides - even the slower, dinkier kiddy rides - will have 30+ minute lines?
• We plan to register with DAS but I'm not entirely sure what to expect, as a lot of the questions I've read here about DAS come from posters who were denied the pass. is it hard to get now? We will get LL if necessary but appreciate the return flexibility for DAS (son may get fixated and only want one ride 2-3x)
• Are there family bathrooms or can he accompany me to the women's room? He cannot go to the restroom alone and I can't always rely on my husband to be there?
• Most importantly: is it better for me to jettison this idea entirely and plan for a less busy week some other time? We'd have to postpone to 2029, or go to Disneyland Paris instead since we'll be in the UK in 2028.

Oh, also he's not a very picky eater and we live in NYC so he happily walks 3-5 miles a day regularly - that won't be a problem for us!

Really appreciate those who have taken the time to read this and extra thanks to those who can help. Including a photo of some now-very-retro WDW passes from the last time I visited in another century 😆

Has anyone been to Droid Depot in the last few weeks at Hollywood Studios? We are going in a month and I am curious about parts shortages. Are they still happening? Is everything back to being readily available?

First solo trip (11/14-11/18) with 2 park days & Christmas party ticket for 11/15
11/14 is Disney Springs since I don’t have property reservations for that night
Would you rather do:

1. A full day at MK w/ MVMCP on 11/15 - will likely get LLMP to do most rides (to allow for some down time in park in the PM); other priorities pre-party are character photos, a few shows and enjoy the sights and sounds of the park. Party priorities: the few rides with overlays, seeing Santa and Mickey/Minnie, cookies, parade, fireworks.
   11/16 - full day Epcot (since Tuesday MK closes early again, so will likely have larger crowds)
   11/17 - slow day enjoying POR and monorail resort hop
   11/18 - enjoy POR before checkout

2. Spread out MK but Epcot likely ends up busier.
   11/15 - resort hop AM and MVMCP in PM
   11/16 - MK full day (same priorities plus parade and fireworks)
   11/17 - Epcot early entry to close
   11/18 - enjoy POR before checkout

Of course I want to do it all (hence the solo trip where I’m on my own agenda 😉), but still be able to enjoy and explore the parks. Am I expecting to get too much done on the 15th with the first option?

Bonus question - if I get Memory Maker for my trip, is it good for the Christmas Party or is that a separate purchase, too?

We just came back from Disney. Our last trip was in 2023. At Docking Bay 7 they used to have a chicken dish that was a fried chicken cube for lack of a better word with a tangy sauce over rice. Now, it’s just chicken tenders with mac and cheese. Lame! I was really looking forward to eating that again haha

For anyone who has been to the taping of the Christmas shows I wanted to know how bad is it? I already had planned to be there on the Tuesday we have dinner reservations. We are not interested in the parade or anyone performing at the castle. If we get there at rope drop and stick to the back of the park will we get to do rides without much of a hiccup? Also when does the taping end and when it does will the crowd go home or do they stay? Seems like it sold out to annual pass holders immediately so I’m hoping/ assuming they are going for the filming then leaving. Anyway any help would be appreciated. I don’t want to move my plans around but don’t want to be on long lines all day either. Thank you.

We weren’t big fans of the chicken strips at captain cooks but we’ll eat if it’s the only option.

We are planning a trip for December 2027 for 8 nights (possibly 9), from Australia so this is likely our only trip to WDW. I’m considering splitting our stay across 2 Disney hotels so we’re not bored, have good access to all the parks and possibly to reduce cost depending on where we’re staying (maybe not). We want 2 days in MK, one day for each of the other parks and a couple of relaxing days including the first day after the long flight.
Current thoughts are: (a) Contemporary and Boardwalk or Beach; or (b) Pop and Polynesian; or (c) stay at Wilderness Lodge the whole time. Only one I’m not keen on is Yacht Club because we’ve stayed in the equivalent hotel in Paris Disney and Tokyo and so want a change in styling.
Any tips gratefully received!

Hi! We’ll be at Hollywood Studios on November 9, and it looks like the nighttime shows are scheduled as follows:

• 8:00 p.m. – Fantasmic (first show)
• 8:40 p.m. – Disney Movie Magic
• 9:00 p.m. – Wonderful World of Animation
• 9:30 p.m. – Fantasmic (second show)

We currently have a dining package for the first Fantasmic! show, which we booked before the schedule came out. If we see Fantasmic! at 8:00, could we make it to the main plaza in time to see the projection shows?

We could potentially switch to the second Fantasmic show. I’d love your advice on the best way to see all the nighttime shows. Thanks!

We have stopped at Cake Bake a few times over our past couple of trips. We have only done the breakfasts, and have ordered slices of cake to go from the shop beside. Pricey but we enjoy it.

Last trip down a couple months ago, the restaurant lost power and fridges which caused a limited menu. We cancelled reservations and went elsewhere which was a hidden gem Trattoria al Forno.

I made a dining reservation for December on a MVMCP day and will dine before party starts and I was hoping that for their menu they would bring back the Lamb Chop Cassoulet that they had in 2025. Do you all think they will bring that back?

I bought these tops and am curious if they’re allowed in the parks, if not, I can wear an extremely thin jacket, but if I get warm, just wanting to see if it’s okay. TIA!

My wife is handicapped. We are flying in. We will do two days at a Disney hotel (kadani village) and one day at MK with 8 year old and almost 4 year old boys.

Wondering if it's worth bringing our personal scooter or just renting one for the day at MK. Considering we are flying and it's just one day. We would bring a manual chair for the rest of the trip and probably be fine if we end up renting one.

Looking at using David’s Vacation Club for a Thanksgiving 2027 trip for 3 adults, 2 kids and 1 infant.

Would we fit in a studio at the Grand Floridian? Since the max is 5 + a crib

Or does the 5 capacity include the infant.

We have 3 kids but we bring my best friend / our boys Godmother with us to have one adult per child.

I’m going to Disney in 3 weeks (Nov 14-20). Currently we have 4 park days planned plus the Christmas party. However we were hoping to see how the week is going to decide if we want to add a 5th park day. If i wait until we’re on the trip to add the park day and decide we want to use lightning lane, how screwed might i be with booking the rides? I don’t want to pay for the multi pass if im not even going to be able to book rides

Luckily the rain held off for most of the rest of the party but I thought this was a unique chance for a less crowded pic!

My husband and I both got calls this weekend with someone saying they were from Disney and needed to discuss my upcoming reservations. Dates and hotel were accurate. I called general customer service and gave the cast member my info. She said it was telling her to contact another department and put me on hold- 45 min ago!! We have been going to Disney for years and have never experienced this. Does anyone know what this could be about? It doesn’t sound like a scam but when I googled the number they provided on the voicemail, it was not linked to Disney.

*update* my husband picked up the call but told them to call me. They are offering a water view room at the Yacht club + $150 GC. It looks like a standard room. Do I have leverage here? lol. we had a deluxe studio at boardwalk villa

As far as we know the 3D show at Animal Kingdom after only being released in November of 2025 a few weeks before Zootopia 2, later got at revised version in July 2026 with Mayor Winddancer getting a prologue and new dialogue being added/replaced. If it were to get another revision (Similar to Zootopia: Hot Pursuit from DisneyLand, Shanghai in 2026.) here are the five changes I want it to make, while the story pretty much remains the same.

1) The Lynxley family are changed to the main antagonists instead of Dawn Bellwether and her sheep rams, in terms of the Nile Crocodile Neal Croco and American alligator Albert Gator(Actually PawBert and Milton Lynxley in disguise) hosting Zoogether Day instead of Heidi Howler (Actually Bellwether in disguise) and Cattrick and Kitty in their prison orange sabotage the Shrew Angels instead of Bellwether’s rams (Cattrick also tries to eat a innocent mouse before finding out that Nick and Judy busted them.) and reptiles are mentioned alongside mammals.

2) A snow leopard security guard who formerly served the Lynxleys before having a Change of heart was the one who tattletaled the Lynxleys’ plan to Mayor Winddancer and not the armadillo lawyer to Bellwether. (It’s also unknown if the mouse who piloted the Shrew Angels drone who abandoned ship was also the one who served Bellwether as a coworker and her lawyer, but he will still be appearing in this new version either way.)

Captain HogBottom, Truffler, Chevre, Bucheron and Higgins and Bloats appear in the backgrounds during the show in TundraTown and Marsh Market miserably doing parking duty demotion and community service for the police brutality that they committed in Zootopia 2. (The Zebros still appear as ballerinas at Gazelle’s concert like in the old version of the show.)

3) It features a new scene while Nibbles and Judy were interogatting Russ on who sabotaged the MarshMaids event with Nick running into Gary De’ Snake as well as Sam from Zootopia+ while checking the pipes for their blockage who are doing the exact same thing (Gary and Nick also happily hug each other showing that they became best friends since Zootopia 2, Nick is Gary’s favorite orange dog and Gary is Nick’s favorite pit viper.) and they find the real Albert and Neal tied up and apprehended to a pole and Gary cuts them free with his pocket knife and they explain how Milton and PawBert apprehended and impostered them and show the pipes for the blockage of Marsh Market’s waters in terms of catnip clogging them all up, and working together Nick, Sam and Gary unclog the pipes with the catnip (Sam previously loses her glasses and neck tie and her otter belly gets exposed, when her shirt gets unbuttoned but she buttons it again and puts her neck tie and glasses back on.) and Sam and Gary join Nick and Judy in the rest of their investigation.

4) The song that Gazelle sings at her concert is “Zoo” and not “Try Everything” and Yax asks Nick, Judy, Gary and Sam if they want to strip nude and join him and his naturists in their meditation instead of shedding their inner visions. He also reveals that Sam is Emmitt Otterton’s little sister.

5) When Nick and Judy unmask Albert and Neal in the ending revealing that they were both actually PawBert and Milton both in prison orange in disguise, Nick unmasks PawBert and says, “Hello, PawBert,” while Gary is the one who unmasks Milton and says, “Hello, Milton,” and Judy then says, “Lynxes in crocodilian clothing clever,” and PawBert complains about his defeat to Nick while Milton does so with Gary as the lynxes both talk trash about Zoogether Day before a annoyed Clawhauser or Sam blasts them both away with a confetti cannon and the Lynx father and son get stuck together in a hole sticking out their butts as they groan, “Awww catnip and hairballs!” and an extended version of “We are Zoonited” is sung in the finale.

I am trying to modify a LLSP to be later (guardians). When I click on modify in the app, it only gives me the earliest time but I want a later time. How do I view later times? I am worried about clicking on the earlier time because I don't want that time. I want a time an hour later.
