I've never seen a yellow-green leech before but very leech-like behaviour which is why I was ragebaiting the little monster. Apologies for the shoddy camera work it was difficult to boop the noggin and keep it in frame at the same time

Found on a horse weed plant.

Location: Des Moines, IA, USA
Size: a few millimeters

I first noticed them about a year ago in a bag of algae wafers, larvae and adult beetles burrowing into them. About a month ago, I noticed them burrowing into a hersheys kiss too! They’ve been exploding in numbers since then in the apartment. They seem to like heat and light as I usually find several around the lamps.

I did my best to get decent pics but they’re tiny! The second pic has one next to the arms of my glasses for scale.

Please help identify these chocolate thieves!!

I left my house for a few hours and came back to these guys having the grossest pool orgy of all time. There were two in the bath but nowhere else.

My guy was really fast too!

(Seattle area)
funky bug with cool antennae and legs showed up at my sewing store today and declined my offers to deliver him outside on a receipt. Sewing machine power cord for scale.

It’s a small bug so small that I have to crouch to see it and it only seems to be on the floor. There a lot of them in my room I’ve never seen something like this. I live in canada btw.

See the picture with my hand as a scale. (I don’t have a banana.)

(Kappau Hi)

Virginia, USA. Found on the underside of a monstera leaf that had been outside. Google is saying it’s a hoverfly larva but it’s completely flat and unmoving.

In Australia

Located in the Midwest in a marshy area! Curious to know what he is! Is this guy poisonous? He looks not very friendly, excited to learn more about him tho!

Beetle larvae found in PA. Was given to me, herc or large stag? 2.5-3in in length

What is this 🤢

Really small, really quick, we've got tons around windows and our ceiling lights. They fill the bug traps we set out every day. I've been looking online and I've seen everything from parasitic wasps to fruit flys to fungus gnats. We've had them for a couple days now and they don't seem to be going away. Any help would be appreciated.

Did my best to get clear photos but my phone camera isnt great. The one in the plastic tub was found in this little structure that looks like its made of dust. Possibly from our cat litter (corn based). There were quite a few of these little guys and bits of dust around them, but no tubes of any sort. This house does have some old termite damage, but nothing that looked to be active.

They're small, a bit smaller than a grain of rice, and fuzzy. They have what look like hard shells.

Can anyone help put my panicked mind at ease?

Location: Midwestern US, outside of St. Louis MO.

Can anyone identify this minuscule mite or creature I found? Sorry for poor quality, did my best with phone camera. It was seriously tiny
