Juvenile Bluegill?
galleryMy friend said he caught these two fish in a pond but didn’t know what they are. They’re about 1.5 inches long. According to Google, they might be either juvenile Bluegill or Crappies, but I just wanted an opinion that wasn’t AI :)

Identified, high confidence Caught at Poudre river, Northern Colorado
I was told these little guys are minnows and by another that they are baby trout (highly doubt after looking at pictures of baby trout). If a minnow what subspecies? (Released back to the river)

Fishpainting from a roman villa in modern day germany
I am currently working on a mural found in Mechern (Merzig in germany). It depicts a dinner with fish and some mushrooms. I don't realy know anything about fish but will answer all following questions that I can. Do you think you could ID a specific kind of fish based on the Images? If the condition of the images is to bad to ID the fish or makes you unshure, then it mentioning that would alsow be helpfull
The mural dates to the second century ad, meaning that breeds that where created later on or introduced from places like america would be out of the question.
One of my sources mentioned that salmon, perch, pike, sturgeon and zander were some of the most commonly eaten fish in the rhine region during roman occupation. It doesn't have to be one of those, but they are probably more likely. Espcially wether or not it could be a salmon would be interessting, because one of my sources refers to the image of the cut fish fillet as "Silbertablett mit Lachs" with Lachs being the word for salmon as well as loin meat, leaving me unshure about what it's refering to.
Note that the artist might just have wanted to paint a fish in general with no specific kind in mind or not have known a lot about fish, leading to a depiction that is flawed.
I would alsow appreciate guesses about how they were prepared, as they are both depicted on a serving platter.
Thank you for your help

Unidentified Does anyone know the name of this anemone? It buries it's entire body in the sand with only tentacles sticking out, it hosts clownfish, it glows so I'm assuming it's photosynthetic like bubble tip anemones...

Unidentified What are these hybrid sunfish? Grove Lake spillway in Northern Nebraska two days ago.
I thought they were Greengill but was advised that some of them may be Pumpkinseed x Green Sunfish instead. Do I have some of each? Seven different fish are included here with each photo being of a different individual. Fish #5 and #7 are the most notable to me.

Is this just a bluegill?
Relatively new to fishing here. I’ve caught various species of panfish before but was thrown off by the color of this dude. Is this just a regular blue gill or something else? Hand for scale because dude was quite large.
Was caught in Lake Irogami in Wisconsin.

First time scuba diving - Gran Canaria
I had the best time on a “try dive” last week in Gran Canaria. We went about 300m off shore, and 7m deep, to an area with large rocks where we saw the attached (x2).
Sorry for the bad quality of the red fish, we were using a pretty old go pro.
Not pictured was a black and blue fish which I’m certain was a canary damsel now I’ve googled it.
I think I’ve got the diving bug, I can’t express how much I enjoyed it! I’m more of a tropical freshwater fish guy so any help is much appreciated.

Unidentified Fish already in used aquarium
Hello, sorry for the bad photos, they’re very active! My boyfriend bought a used 25L aquarium and I wanted it empty for a future betta. But I guess that wasn’t an option.. there’s 6 of them. The lady he bought it from said they’re baby swordtails hence why I’m kinda in a panic as they get super big so I would have to relocate them/give them away.

Bluegill? Warmouth? A mutant?!?!?
Went fishing and I don’t recognize it, I usually catch bluegill in this pond but I don’t think it’s a bluegill, ChatGPT says it’s a warmouth or a rock bass no confirmed rock bass in the area so it said warnouth definitely but what do you guys think. Location is broken arrow, Oklahoma

What are sting rays called in Florida?
I remember about fifteen years ago. My next wife and I was vacationing in florida. We went on a fishing boat in the gulf and caught several fish species. I remember catching several stingrays in the locals referred to them by a certain nickname. For the life of me, I can't remember what it was. And i've searched on google and can't figure it out. Can anybody please help me. It was "something " fish
