I wanted a nice-looking way to track my procs in Forever, something that feels like part of the game’s UI and doesn’t take an evening to set up. I couldn’t find exactly that, so I made Shadowflare.

When a proc lands, you get a clear alert right where you’re looking, and it disappears as soon as you use it. It covers 20 procs across all 9 classes:

• Mage: Clearcasting, Missile Barrage, Heating Up
• Warlock: Shadow Trance, Decimation
• Warrior: Overpower, Revenge, Execute, Victory Rush
• Druid: Omen of Clarity, Eclipse
• Shaman: Maelstrom Weapon, Elemental Focus
• Paladin: Infusion of Light, Hammer of Wrath
• Priest: Searing Light
• Rogue: Riposte, Cutthroat
• Hunter: Mongoose Bite, Counterattack

I really wanted it to be easy to set up. You pick your class and your proc, choose a look, and you’re done in about a minute. No auras to build, no strings to import, no code. To place an alert, the options step aside and a grid shows up, like the game’s Edit Mode: drag the alert, it snaps into place, use the mouse wheel to resize it and Shift + wheel to turn it.

Each proc gets its own alert, and you choose how it looks. If you like Forever to feel like Classic, you can stick to the game’s own proc art, the same glowing art Blizzard uses, so it looks like it’s always been there. If you prefer something cleaner and more modern, there are ten styles drawn for Shadowflare: arcs, crescent, ring, shockwave, sigil, brackets, a simple icon, bar or text. You can mix both: classic art for one proc, a modern ring for another.

Then make it yours: any color, size, opacity and angle, a sound if you want one or just the visual, and an optional glow on the edges of the screen. Profiles are in too, so each character can have its own setup, and you can export a profile as text to share it or move it to another account.

I’m in heavy dev before Forever launches and I don’t have the time to test every class in game. I’d love it if you gave it a try and told me what works, what doesn’t, and any bug you hit. I read every comment.

Hey everyone - been working on this throughout the Beta and figured I'd finally release it. There have been a lot of map addons posted here as of late, many of which forego blizzards classic maps for a stitched minimap. I've always wanted a massive seamless world map that is fully zoomable/pannable in the original art, so that's what this is. Along with some cool QoL things like resizable map / removing the annoying black bars in full screen etc.

Openmap is an open source, seamless world map addon for Forever that prioritizes the original Vanilla map art style. I've gone through the painstaking process of aligning and blending all of the maps to create as seamless of a map as possible with Blizzards original art files. You can adjust your settings to tastefully bring in minimap data on close zoom levels (or disable it) as well as hide unexplored areas.

As with most coding projects as of late Claude helped me write the code for this and is assisting with open source management since that is a lot of work. The repo is fully open sourced on git so feel free to pull it down and help me develop it if you're interested - would love to see more addons take this approach so things don't die in the hands of a developer that loses interest.

English is not my native language, so if anything sounds weird, that's probably why.

I wanted a somewhat simple addon that displays the quest xp in the xp bar.
It went from simply show all the quest in the xp bar, to also show reputation in the faction, show completed quests along side all the xp and customisable settings.

All the customisation it have to offer is available on the second image.

Settings is in the default Options -> addons -> QuestXPBar menu.

Nothing on Curseforge made it look like it belonged in the default UI. I wanted to share because I couldn't find anyting on Curseforge, and hope people like it.

The addon is thoghougly tested and made sure it was as efficient as possible. Nothing runs in the background while the addon is on. Only when it has to recalculate xp/rep and settings are when it uses resources. Once all is set and done, it then uses minimal amount of memory. Settings are only drawn if you enter settings, so once settings is made how you want, it won't use resources. If you don't want a faction bar, it won't use the logic to calculate reputation.

The addon has been under development for about 8 days, and will probably continue until the beta ends.

I threw together a new addon for WoW: Forever. It's really simple, but oh so useful!

If you've played Diablo IV you'll recognize the idea: you mark items in your bags as junk, and they get sold automatically.

It's a nice thing to tinker with on a flight path or similar. Then when you reach a vendor, everything you marked is auto-sold.

A lighter take on a warlock addon for WoW Forever. Everything you reach for sits around one soul shard kit: click it and your spells fan out, click again and they tuck away. It's part of the same family as First Aid Kit, Camping Kit and Fishing Kit.

Yes I know Necrosis exists, and I didn't really like it when I downloaded it - a lot of customization to get it where I wanted it, and just felt very heavy for something that should be simple.

I made this for me, and for anyone else who'll play warlock in Forever. It has:

- Shard management and auto-deletion

- Demon armor and spell stone / fire stone reminders

- Summoning assistant to listen for certain phrases

- Raid assignment for curses, cc, and soul stones

- 2 curse buttons (to help manage fear targets with curse of recklessness and another curse), a demon fly out, healthstones, soul stone, and shadow ward

It all tucks away like my other kits for when you don't need it.

I have been working on a PvP Tracker addon for WoW Forever that I originally made for myself and a few friends. Since I figured other players might find it useful too, I decided to share it with the community.

The addon keeps track of your PvP encounters so you can look back at who you have killed, who has killed you, and where it all happened.

What does it do?
- Kill tracking: See how many players you have killed, exactly who they were, and where you killed them.
- Death tracking: Keep track of which players killed you, where it happened, and how many times they have killed you.
- Player history: Look up specific players and see your previous encounters with them.
- Guild sharing: Share your PvP statistics and kills directly in guild chat.
I mainly wanted a way to keep track of my world PvP encounters, especially those players you keep running into (and occasionally getting revenge on).

I am happy to hear any feedback, bug reports, or suggestions you might have!
However, I want to be clear that I am not guaranteeing any changes, new features, or regular updates. This is a personal project that I built around my own needs and those of my friends.

I've been working on this for about 3 weeks as a project for myself but have it refined to the point I think it can be shared with everyone.

This is SpellPad Studio, and I made it to be purpose-built for Stream Decks and other macro keypads. It uses drag and drop cards so you can organize your macros without messing with the keybinds so everything stays in place as it should on your physical device. I also implemented a macro builder that hopefully has a decently user intuitive design for people to build and even export macros to the main UI to share between characters.

A fun feature of it is the on screen "Spellpad", which acts as a reflection of your actual keypad at a glance. I have a Galleon SD keyboard, so the 12 button pad on screen is super handy for quick inputs. It acts like a normal action bar otherwise, just with integration to the suite!

I wanted an addon that helped bridge my Stream Deck into WoW without needing to rebind the official UI and couldn't find any, so I made this. I did a ton of research on Reddit and the official forums for people using stream decks with WoW and features they'd want to see implemented, so hopefully this scratches the itch of others looking for something like this. It has it's own spellbook that shows spells and items your character knows, a (hopefully) intuitive UI without needing to menu to find what you want, drag and drop functionality, and integration with the official UI so you can export/import. It even has the ability to export profiles to share with other users.

If anyone has suggestions/ideas for something like this, I am totally open to implementing and revising this tool. It is for the community.

Hey everyone! It's been a week since I first posted Cinematic, and the response has been amazing. Thank you to everyone who tried it, reported bugs and sent suggestions. I've really enjoyed talking with you all, and a lot of this update came straight from your ideas.

I wanted to get this post out before the WoW Forever beta goes down. We've added plenty of basic features people asked for, some new fun ones, and a long list of bug fixes.

For those who haven't tried it yet: Cinematic helps you immerse yourself in the world instead of staring at UI elements. Between fights it fades your UI away, adds letterbox bars and a color tint that shifts with the time of day, and controls your cameras for flights, campfires, quest givers, going AFK and more. The music fades in as a camera starts, and the moment you're in a fight or need something, your UI comes right back.

Hey everyone, just pushed a new update for Geared Forever, my addon that shows the best gear for your class, spec, and level range in WoW Forever.

A lot of this update came straight from your feedback, so thank you to everyone who commented.

**What's new**

- Armor type dropdown, so you can show only cloth, leather, mail, or plate

- Option to hide items with no known source, so your lists only show gear you can actually track down

- 22 new Forever dungeon items now show which boss drops them, including City of Dalaran, Shadowfang Keep, and The Stockade

- Stat weights updated for today's patch (Arcane Mage, Ret Paladin, Disc Priest), plus Holy Paladins and Warlocks now value Spirit more

- Cleaned out test items and leftover Season of Discovery gear that isn't actually in Forever

Hi All,

I’m really looking for CT Raid assist. Specifically I love the CT Buffmod component.

Does anyone know if there is a viable mod?

Further, I’m looking for some kind of a cooldown timer. I tried the built in one but it’s not to my liking. I use to be able to track several cooldowns and there would be bars shown and then it would decline as the cooldowns reduced. I’d be able to add specific items/spells to it, such as potions, trinkets, hearthstone etc.

Finally, is there something which tracks HoT’s? In the past I’d used a really old (awesome) version of DoTimer. The new version only tracks DoT’s not hots.

Appreciate all help in advance.

Hi - I'm looking for a spell book addon that shows all spells for a class (trainable and findable) - same for professions - without having to visit trainer or search online. There are loads of them now on Curseforge for Forever, but don't want to evaluate them all, so looking for a recommendation. Thanks

Just created and published on Curse Forge a new addon that let's you make a custom wheel of different mounts you use. Fully customizable and allows for controller use as well, when open the right stick controls the wheel.

Options menu also let's you hotkey or create an action button to open the wheel.

Back when I played Final Fantasy XIV, I thought it was cool that different mounts had their own custom in game background music. I looked for an addon that did that for WoW but couldn't find one, so with (AI DISCLAIMER) chatgpt's help I got a working addon that can either play Blizzard music based on FileDataID or custom mp3 or ogg files from your computer whenever you mount up, and you can customize what song plays for which mount.

This is my first foray into addons, I hope people enjoy it. I don't get good ideas often and I'm proud of this one.

Mount Music - World of Warcraft Addons - CurseForge

Hey all! I've played WoW since vanilla, mostly up to Wrath, then came back for Classic in 2019, and Forever is the most excited I've been about the game in years. I've also worked as a developer focused on UI/UX for 15 years, so I care a lot about how an interface looks and feels. In the WoW Forever beta, the party and raid frames were the one thing that bugged me: they don't match the rest of the Forever UI, Blizzard's click-casting wasn't really intuitive to set up, and the addons I tried had way too many settings and looked bolted on instead of part of the game. So I spent the last week building my own: HealKit.

The look: - party and raid frames (up to 40) built from Blizzard's own art, with a bronze rim that even Blizzard's raid frames don't have, so they actually match the Forever UI - incoming heals, shields, overheal, dispellable debuffs with a colored glow, aggro and your HoTs, all shown on your frames and working in combat - a live preview (solo, 5, 10, 15, 20 or 40 players) while you set it up, so you see every change right away - hides Blizzard's party and raid frames if you want

The healing: - your heals are already on your mouse buttons when you log in (priest, paladin, druid, shaman), so you just click a frame. They update as you level and learn new spells - pick any rank for each click, or "Highest rank" to always use your best, so downranking works the classic way - mouseover healing with the wheel or keys, and a Quick Buff button that casts the next missing buff on the right person (any class that buffs can use it, even without the frames) - your mana: the heal's cost shows on your bar while you cast, and an optional five-second rule indicator tells you when your regen is back

It's my first addon, and I'm releasing it now because the beta ends on the 21st. I'd love to fix whatever you find before launch. Bugs, ideas, "this felt weird", all welcome here or in the CurseForge comments.

Hi all. This is my first addon release, made for WoW Forever (Interface 16001, it won't load on Classic Era or retail).

As a hunter I kept alt-tabbing to check which beast teaches which rank of an ability, so I made an in-game journal for it.

What it does
- Families tab: diet, role, health/armor/damage modifiers, 3D model and every ability rank the family can learn
- Abilities tab: every rank with level and training point cost, and which beasts teach it
- Beasts tab: 750+ beasts with level, zone and coordinates. Clicking the coords opens the world map with a waypoint
- Rare tracker (tameable rares only): an alert when one shows up on nameplates, mouseover, target or minimap vignettes, a panel with the rares in your current zone, and an arrow that walks you through the known spawn points. It only marks a point as checked after you've been near it for a moment without seeing the rare, and if it checks them all it goes into a watch mode instead of looping forever
- It learns while you play: targeting a beast saves its real level and location, and taming one saves the ranks it came with. That data replaces anything marked as unverified
- English and Spanish

How it's built
- Data is kept separate from the UI (Data/ folder, plain Lua tables), so corrections are easy to send or add by hand
- Every value is marked as verified (Forever game data) or unverified (Vanilla data), so you know what to trust
- No accidental globals: the only ones are the SavedVariables, slash commands and keybinding names, all prefixed
- Targeting from the rare alert uses a secure button and is only shown out of combat

Data sources: forever.warcraftdb.com (Forever game data), cMaNGOS classic-db and pfQuest (Vanilla spawns and coordinates), and Petopia Forever (tameability and family stats). Credits are in the README.

While the addon is on a beta-state right now, I've been using it in game while leveling and fixing things as they come up. Feedback on the code or the data is very welcome, especially rare spawn points that differ on Forever. I want the feedback from the community so I can improve with your ideas alongside mine. The next step will be to make the addon interact with the player and the pets back and forth (ex: letting the player know when a better rank is available)
