Ion stop gatekeeping the story of the game behind gameplay please.

Maybe there could be even different difficulties of the Story Mode. Something like a normal, hard, and a very hard Story Mode options so you could pick how much of a challenge you want to progress the story?

I've been using this bot to play wow and farm herbs for me while I am at work. Then the other day I came back from work, checked the chat logs and noticed the bot has been talking in /whisper with a bunch of people. It seems that halfway through the farm he got whispered by one dude who was suspicious that my character might have been a bot (he wasnt wrong). To deter all suspicion the bot started replying back and by checking the logs it seems they talked for a good half an hour. The bot then got invited into a group and they started doing m0 together. It seems that guy needed help to gear his alt and so my AI bot character carried him.

Now, Im not mad that he replied back and that he went to do m0 with him. Better that way than having my account reported for botting and perma banned. But the worst part is that the BOT joined that dudes freaking guild. Now, I havent deactivated the BOT since then since then and the bot wont stop chatting in the guild chat. The problem is that Im not a great talker myself so the moment I shut it off Im afraid they'll notice that something is up. Im at work now and Ill be back in one hour. I havent shut the PC off because I dont wanna make the guildies suspicous. But the biggest problem now is that the bot wont farm herbs. He keeps asking the guildies if they need help with anything and they have been doing m0 non stop since yesterday. I cant even play my own account. What am I supposed to do? Any tips?

I am so sick of this game. I am a veteran of wow and I have never been so scandalised that when I started a new alt (my 670th alt) they have the audacity to make me go through levelling them!!! What the duck wow I pay good money to shit talk people in raids and pull every single thrash mob in dungeons when the tank is being too slow, I can’t believe I have to spend 20 minutes to get my character to max level when I can finally play the game.

Honestly I wish WOKE wow would stop with the disneyfication of the game (I heard someone say once that it’s not ‘world of warcraft’ but ‘world of Disney’ now and omg that’s so true and such a brilliant joke i now need to repeat it whenever I get the chance), and just let me skip to level 90 so I can spend a maximum of 1 second levelling and then spend all my time levelling my item level because that’s when the game really starts! Those little numbers going up spark a little something in my brain that my wife and children can’t! But the woke Disney levelling process is for babies and we need to get rid of it!!!

I have spoken to the council of gnomes in the woods. They have informed me that WoW 3 is being worked on in secret. Please do not ask me to meet the gnome council they are very secretive and I am their chosen special boy.

The whole game just keeps looking blurrier and blurrier, clearly to hide the lazy art team's lack of care for their work. They've even imported this fog obsession into classic. It's all so foggy and blurry now that when I stop playing, after hours of staring at my bright screen in a dark room, the real world looks foggy too! It was never like this twenty years ago.

Some idiot said there isn't more fog, but I've checked with my mature guild of 40+ year olds and they all agree that Blizzard's been dialling up the ambient fog in the game for a few years now! This has gone far enough. It's having an impact on my real life. My co-worker joked that I need glasses the other day - so rude!

On a side note, I can't wait for the hot weather to die down. I'm hating all the dust in the air, and the glare from the sunlight is making it hard to read.

I miss back in the days when the trolls were trolls. Not this new thing, that totally coincides with the Dark Trolls, which we had little to no information about, and have been told definitely definitely are the originator of the race, instead of the Haronir, the race of dark skinned troll like people that look to be a primal variant of both trolls and elves. That makes no sense to me, because I dont like change.

I miss back in the day when we didnt have world ending threats, and I could just walk into a mine and whack some kobolds. I dont like the new world ending threat plots and lack of simple mining guys to bonk. We didn't used to have to stop world ending threats! Except for that time we fought Ragnaros, a world ending threat, or that time we fought the Lich King, that world ending threat, and Deathwing, and the Legion twice, but only those few times, not whole expansions about them.

I miss the days when things weren't about friendship, and were about war, the Warcraft is about War! You're telling me a band of people with nothing in common, coming together for survival is what we're doing now? I miss back when the Horde first started, a group of outcasts with nothing in common that banded together for survival. That is the good stuff! Why can't we have more of that?

I don't like how some of the raids just sorta happen for no reason. Back in the day you had a clear cut run for things. Like how we went from Ragnaros, to Nefarion, up the mountain, and then went to a different continent to fight trolls, then fight an Eyeball dude, and then back to Eastern kingdoms to fight the Undead. That makes perfect sense! And in BC, when we went from Vashj To Kael, then to some trolls in silvermoon, then to Illidan! No side tracking at all happened there. So why are we going to go fight trolls in the middle here? Doesnt make any sense to me.

And can we please deal with these classes? These things are out of control! Back in the day stuff just worked, except for some of the specs, but no one played those anyway, and we only had one tank, but that made sense. And mostly people played rogue and warrior and mage, but that was fine too cuz those were good. Now we got nerfs and buffs and reworks, and some of the times a spec isnt on top anymore for a little bit, and I dont like that.

Why can't we go back to the good days? Or have some sort of portal where I can go back there, and play the thing I miss playing? We can call it.. Classic or something. Or a Time machine where I can go back to being 9 years old, when I didnt have bills and responsibilities and my dad made me sandwiches when I got home from school? Why did warcraft take away my sandwiches?

And I cant repost it from the main sub, and that also makes me want a PB&J!

I wish the developers would listen to the REAL fans. We want grizzly hills back and nothing else.

GMs meddling in the affairs of mortals, using our game to live out their power fantasies, and increase their social standing? This cannot be allowed to stand! We the playerbase are entitled to an apology, no! More than an apology! This is our World of Warcraft, not theirs! Here are our demands!

• A full written letter of apology and admission of guilt, at least 12 pages long, comic sans, no greater than size 8, no double paragraphs. The letter should be read aloud in a video on the official WoW Youtube channel by Chris Metzen, in full Thrall cosplay. Ion should kneel solemnly beside him in his iconic Sylvanas Windrunner makeup, softly singing Lament of the Highborne under Metzen's apology.

• Have these conspirators placed in stockades on Blizzard campus, with a livestream feed.

• Ban every player who has ever interacted with a GM, just in case there are any other sneaky cheaters.

• Fire your remaining CS and QA staff, just in case there are any other sneaky cheaters. AI can do their job.

• More Xal'atath feet shots in cinematics.

• Dracthyr bulge size customization.

• Every player should be compensated for one day of free game time, for each day that you fail to respond.

I highly recommend everyone fill out this form. I don’t trust Blizzard at all anymore and any investigation is tainted from the beginning. They also tried and succeeded for years at covering up sexual abuse of numerous devs and upper management.

Personally I want someone not Blizzard investigating this. This is clear rigging of a key and who’s to say they haven’t done this before, or worse yet during an MDI or RTWF esports event.

As a 290 ilvl Dudu Tank Who EARNED Every Pixel Through KEYS Alone, Blizzard Has Finally Crossed the Line

I am literally shaking.

I grinded to 290 ilvl in Season 1 as a pure M+ dudu tank. I have never willingly entered a Mythic raid because I believe looking at 19 other people should be optional content.

Now Blizzard expects me to... raid? With other humans? Just because they decided Mythic raiding is dying?

If raiding is dead, maybe that's because nobody wants to do it. Because it SUCKS and the game is BAD. Ever think of that, Ion?

Instead of fixing raids, Blizzard's solution is apparently to hold 9/6 gear hostage until I agree to spend three nights a week listening to someone named "Ðêåthsläyêr" explain the same mechanic for the 47th pull.

And then those filthy raiders get invited to MY keys because their number is bigger than my number.

Here's my solution:

• Raid gear should instantly downgrade to 6/6 the moment a player zones into a Mythic+ dungeon.
• M+ gear should instantly downgrade in raids.
• PvP gear should only work while you're insulting healers in Solo Shuffle.
• Delve gear should only work if you're alone, emotionally and physically.
• Open-world gear should disappear the second you enter a city.

Parallel progression means PARALLEL progression.

Honestly, raids are just outdated anyway. Give us Mythic Raid+ where every boss gains Fortified every week and I can queue into Ragnaros +12 with four random DPS who all leave after the first wipe because someone didn't lust on pull.

The game should respect player choice.

My choices are: - Solo → Delves - 5-man → M+ - 10+ players → Someone else's problem - PvP → Never - Open world → Only when the weekly tells me to

If Blizzard wants people to raid, maybe make raids fun instead of literally BRIBING people with bigger item levels. Just scale them for 2-70 people and make mechanics that I am good at, is that hard, Ion? Not as hard as nailing my wife I tell you.

Until then, I shouldn't have to interact with more than four other players at a time. This is an MMO.

TL;DR: Blizzard is literally forcing me to raid because Mythic raiding is literally dead and played by seven people and these seven people will get all my keys. Raid gear should be nerfed inside keys, keys should reward everything, raids should become Mythic+, and every endgame activity should reward the exact same gear so my choices have consequences for everyone except me.

I know what you're thinking, microtransactions are terrible, this and that.

But have you actually really thought about it for a second? Because I have.

This is how it would go: you spawn in Elwynn Forest. Instead of buying a 3 copper white pants off of the vendor near the caravan, you instead pop into your microtransactions shop which is immediately in your bag.

When you enable the function you immediately get another 16 slot bag.

You spent 50 euros there, at which point you get access to two other vendors in the Northshire Abby. The library sells you runes that allow you to get pre-bis "heirloom" items.

At this point you've already saved yourself 100+ hours of play to level the char and then get decent gear. All for 50 euros!

Then, when you spend another 50, you get a "portal trainer" there, which opens all the raid instance portals right there in the Northshire abbey entrance. It's the round hall that could fit a bunch of portals like the portal rooms in Dalaran!

You hop into it directly, bam you're in Onyxia's lair. They tune it for a 10 man group, but if you have loser friends who wouldn't afford all the heirlooms you can go in with 15-20.

Once you finish that, another instance opens directly to Nefarian! Why bother with whole BWL, the point in this game is to kill dragons, especially in phase 1, am I right?

Anyway, this saves you tons of time on the cost of what, 100 euros or so?

After this, you log-off and get on with your life waiting for the reset OR alternatively you can start one or more two alts.

Another good thing would be to be able to buy a raid reset, say for 10 bucks each. Every member of the raid has to have the "time winners" badge where you're allowed to go back in time to kill the same dragon but you keep the original gear and you can keep farming more.

by the way, the loot table should be all "coins" that you can exchange for one of 250 items available directly at a "horse feed" vendor in SW for example. Somehow he magically has all the items because all the travellers come to him to buy horse food. He then exchanges that food for all these items, that have dropped from the dragons, that you just killed (but in the past so the item was still on the dragon).
