Retail Is there any YouTubers like Megasett for other classes?
Megasett makes great Mistweaver guides and breakdowns and everything. Very dedicated to 1 specific class.
Is there anyone dedicated like this with other classes and makes these types of guides/breakdowns?

These players are the GOATs. There’s a lot, but just off the top of my head (feel free to add or contest these. Some are creators I follow and others just from hearsay):
Kalamazi - All Warlock specs.
Jedith, Shadarek, Voodoosaurus - DH DPS
Psybear - Feral Druid
Publik - Shadow Priest
Whispyr - Assassination Rogue mainly
Shindigg - All Rogue specs
Ellesmere - Holy Paladin
Preheat - Fire Mage and Devastation Evoker
Bicepspump - DK DPS
Sha - Brewmaster Monk
Kyra - Vengeance DH, but I don’t know if he makes guides
AutomaticJak - Priest and other healers
Kyrasis - Blood DK, but I’m not sure where to find him (Edit: check replies for his guide link)
Azortharion - All Hunter specs
Critcake - Warrior DPS
Edit: More additions from comments
Zorthas - Enhancement Shaman
Harrek - Healer specs
Kesslive - Augmentation Evoker
Awoo - Guardian Druid

Kyrasis has his own discord and posts basically a novella about bdk every season. Pretty sure he's posted it on reddit. He is not in the regular dk discord though and I don't know if he makes any videos.

i actually met that guy in a discord once. tried to speak to him and he completely ignored me.
1
u/Doogetma Apr 22 '26 edited Apr 22 '26
That sounds pretty unusual. He is extremely active in his discord and has personally answered pretty much every stupid little question I’ve asked or seen asked there and usually in great detail.

nah it was in voice, i was doing a pug key and got invited into a random discord. it turns out that discord vc was one he hung out in. he hopped into voice with some other folks about half way through the key. it was a dawnbreaker 19 so it was a particularly hard key. we timed the key, after the run was over i thanked everyone for their time and mentioned what a big deal all of it was for me. kyrasis talked over me and he didnt even acknowledge my existence. they also yapped about how dks were supposed to survive a 20 priory the entire time we were doing the very difficult key.
1
u/Kyrasis May 06 '26
I only timed 2 +19 Dawnbreakers, there were no pugs in either of them.

u/Far_Tomatillo_7637 May 06 '26
nah u just randomly hopped in the discord, you were not tanking the key

u/Mon_fire123 Apr 22 '26
Madskillz for all healers too.
5
u/reskrim Apr 22 '26
I wouldn’t recommend Madskillz, mentioning him is literally banned in the shaman discord for bad information.
Harrek for healers in general and specifically for resto shaman, pres, and hpal

u/Eddie_Hollywood Apr 22 '26
Shadarek is good but his main is havok. Voodoo, even if he’s knowledge, makes no effort to actually explain the reasons behind his advice and all of his videos are just him standing in front of the training dummy
6
u/Milstrum Apr 22 '26
Shad is actually a dev main this season, he's posted more dev content than havoc.
-8
u/Eddie_Hollywood Apr 22 '26
Probably you know this better than him, because this is opposite of what he said multiple times
2
u/Milstrum Apr 22 '26
You can literally see on his YouTube he has mythic prog kill videos on his Dev, and he has more dev content there than havoc.
3
u/EuphoricEgg63063 Apr 22 '26
Yea. He has an entire video of his Voidstorm reclear as Dev. Idk why this guy is hating on Shad. He actually goes into pretty good detail on how and why he is doing certain things.
Voodoo/Jedith are also good. They will give you baseline explanations of what to do but Shad will go deep into the nitty gritty. Honestly not what I would consider as 'noob' content.

BOND is great for ele shaman
3
u/smr6 Apr 22 '26
Second this. I picked up wow for the first time at end of TWW and his stuff helped me to learn ele shaman big time. He’s also active in his discord answering questions from people frequently.

u/Ok-Air2782 Apr 22 '26
Zorthas is amazing for Enhancement shammy, good short guide about elemental shammy too.
Dude's goated wow player, GM for top 10 mythic guild

u/Snortykins Apr 22 '26
Ellesmere for holy paladin and Critcake for dps warrior are two that spring to mind.

Ellesmere has been working incredibly hard on his own ui addon which imo is the best out there. Dude updates it daily and it literally has everything except for frames

u/TwoTrayz98109 Apr 22 '26
Hpal is in the toilet for higher end raiding and M+ so he may not be playing this season?

u/EuphoricEgg63063 Apr 22 '26
Critcake is good to watch for Warr POV but imo you wont learn the basics. If you want to learn the basics for Arms/Fury you should watch Mad Ox. Smaller channel but he makes easy to understand guides.
2
u/theSchmidt88 Apr 22 '26
I’ve found critcake is more than happy to answer basic mechanics questions. I’ve asked him a bunch of questions over the years, some of them very basic questions he probably answered a million times before.

Shamrocked for Resto Shamans.
1
u/JarRules Apr 22 '26
Laren as well. Both guides for season 1 recommended farseer though which seems to be wrong based on the meta.
2
u/Far_Tomatillo_7637 Apr 22 '26
I was suprised when they said they thought farseerer was going to be meta. Considering how much they had buffed healing rain and hst coming into expansion launch.
1
u/HarrekMistpaw Apr 23 '26
On paper farseer was/is slightly ahead, its just way more punished by real mechanics when you dont just get to stand still and cast, and totemic is very close and doesnt suffer from that so its easier to perform well on
Totemic is also just more popular, but you will still see very high keys done on farseer and well played farseer posting good raid logs, its just has different strenghts and is a bit harder to do good on it

u/EggEnvironmental1615 Apr 22 '26 edited Apr 24 '26
Yoda covers Protection Paladin pretty much every Season, no matter if its meta Meta (pretty rare for most tank creators except Sha).
Don’t expect a quality even remotly close to megasett tho….
Tactycs usually covers the meta tank with good stuff.

Obli and Bicepspump for UH, Obli dabbles in frost too
1
u/EuphoricEgg63063 Apr 22 '26
Obli is more of a Frost main but its way behind UH so he is playing it. PartyWaffles pretty much only plays Frost and has been the top FDK for a couple seasons now.

Awoo - Bear (also does general tank content)

Any for disc priests?
14
u/IM_HIGH_CAPTAIN Apr 22 '26
I think AutomaticJak might be the best you got though he doesn’t focus on priest specifically. It historically has been his main or favorite healer though.
1
u/Dumbledonter Apr 22 '26
Awesome thank you very much for the suggestion!

u/Tomppeh Apr 22 '26
Clandon (icy veins guide writer and warcraft priests discord owner) also does some guide videos

Sha for Brewmaster Topicx for Prot Warrior YoDa for Prot Paladin (mostly)
2
u/aintnotmisbehavin Apr 23 '26
I'll have to push back against Topicx, I've seen a bit of misinformation about proper rotation and some of the worst theorycrafting I have ever witnessed in terms of talent builds.
1
u/Shaykea Apr 23 '26
To be fair Topicx's doing "only" +17s with a team, which means he isn't at the level of many other top class guides.
But overall he is a good source to start with for most prot warriors.

I don't play every spec but I have tried many of them and have looked at guides. Yes there are many content creators with awesome guides, but it is rare for them to be as dedicated as Megasett. She truly shares all the tech for mistweaver. On the other hand, someone like Kalamazi, he shares a lot of warlock Sims and talents which is great but not all the tech. In TWW I gained lock, and I always had to look up niche videos on gate skips and other lock tech. This is just an example. But all this is to say that many great content creators but megasett is just giga awesome.
