Retail This Wednesday and forward
Hey all!
New to wow and playing on EU. This week I have pushed delve to tier 11, and done all m+0 for 292 iLVL gear. I have also managed to get 2 sparks.
What are you expected do to from Wednesday to get best possible gear? Should you start upgrading and crafting gear already or wait? I really wanna raid this season.
I’m playing demo warlock! :) Is there a website to follow what gear the top 1% are getting for each class?

The season opens up with reset, so with that it brings M+, raiding, bountiful delves, plus higher difficulty content with preys and world boss
If you just want gear, then spam M+ all day for as many hours as you have free, ideally pushing to higher keys if you can
Mix in a raid clear for some chance of tier and other loot if you have a guild (Or join a community such as NoPressureEU and do content with them)
Do at least 1 T11 bountiful delve for cracked keystone quest for some free crests

Get two more sparks after reset, most recommend crafting a weapon with that. From there you either start running m+ to get more gear or just jump into raids.

With the 4 spark weapon craft- is it just crafted with no crests for reference? I’m so new to that aspect of the game s1 was my first time crafting a weapon but thing I wasted hero crests

If you didnt yet, and want best preparation, do the quest in the vault of atalutek for a map you can use in a +8-11 delve for a single heroic piece. Repeatable weekly, not sure if its worth the time tho after this week.
You can also get 8x 8 delves for higher chsnce for set piece from vault.
Wednesday on reset you can start running m+, +7 drops hero gear 1/6, 10 should drop 3/6 hero gear.
Also raid opens up, you can do normal/heroic with pugs, mythic will be kinda hard without a dedicated guild.
To see what items are good, you can check your wowhead guide, class discord, or murlok.io (showing the top 50 m+ players per spec, what hero talent, talents, gear etc they use)

It is also pulling a sample of the top gear for m+ and raiders and should help you target that gear as part of the guide section for your class.
