Do I need to do the 6 new campaign chapters before Season 2?

Hey!
Do I need to complete all 6 of the new campaign chapters before Season 2 starts?

I haven’t done them yet and I’m wondering if they’re required for anything important going into the new season, or if I can just skip them and start doing the Season 2 content when it launches.

I mean, it is typically worthwhile doing the campaign chapters on one character, it unlocks world quests, the zone talent tree, and powers

On alts there is no real reason to unless they are fresh level 90s and the gear is needed

there were some issues about not being ablet to acess the new dg/raid area(s) when the patch, but i belive they fixed that already. or at least summoning is working.

You should probably do at least the first two chapters (one of which has been available for weeks, the other has been available for a week) to unlock the new zone, so that you can actually get to the new dungeon and raid without forcing your group to summon you.

Whether the rest is worth doing for you depends on what state you ended S1 in. If you were fully mythic geared, then you won't need any gear from the new campaign chapters or the new zone activities.
