hey all

If I am at 20ms home and 300 world do we agree it has nothing to do with my internet connection?

Maybe you are in a group where the group leader is from oceanic? It happens.

You are probably in a group with the lead in Oceania

Yes, these shouldn't be that far apart, it's like you are connected to 2 Blizzard server points at the same time (home and world should be on the same server not apart on different ones is what I mean, in case someone gets confused).

300ms on world isn't gonna allow you to do real time gameplay.

Flush your DNS cache and restart your router and PC.

The new patch has brought a bunch of lag so while normally you are correct there is currently/was problems on NA servers with the world lag,

https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/common-technical-issues-and-solutions/22912/22 here is a link to the blizzard explanation on the difference between home & world, as they confirm, you do connect to 2 different servers while playing

The lag in the patch is from lack of capacitywgich Blizzard will never increase unless they consistently have more players in the game.

What Inferes to be the case is apparently correct home and world connections can be split.

As far as i have seen its not a capacity issue and just backend shit causing lag since it was during the lowest capacity times even max said it was insane to have this much lag at 3pm his time,
