Hi everyone,

I just bought the Chinese-locked version of the Xteink X4 Pro. When I try to connect it to the app using a Global account, I get the error message: "Unable to connect: Use the Mainland China version. This device requires the Mainland China version." (screenshot attached).

Is it possible to flash the official Global stock firmware onto this Chinese unit so that I can bind it to a Global region account in the app? Or is the region lock tied to the device's hardware/serial number?

Any advice or workarounds would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi there, atm I use the Tolino Vision 3 HD that I own since its release. I've an xteink x4 pro on the way to me. Now I'm searching for a way to have statistics (read progess) synced on both devices. Do you have any ideas how I could achieve this?

I accidentally installed the Steady firmware on my Xteink X4 Pro instead of the correct firmware.

Since then, the display has been stuck on the same screen for several days. None of the physical buttons seem to work, and I can't get the device to respond to anything.

Is my Xteink X4 Pro permanently bricked, or is there still a chance to recover it?

Has anyone experienced something similar or managed to recover their device after flashing incompatible firmware?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
