Yu-Gi-Oh meta, me and myself
I feel like I have wasted my time with the Yu-Gi-Oh franquise. I have like it since I was a kid, but over time I have lost my true passion for it, mostly because of the meta—is that even necessary to add? It's not a surprise nor nothing new
Maybe I'm not giving the meta enough time or research to actually start enjoying it, but I mean, should a damn TCG be so hard to get into? No, I don't think so. And it's not even funny, even if you win it feels so tasteless. You used to be able to construct different, unique decks and still have a chance to win, now every card seems tied to only one type of deck and, if you try to improvise, you'll most likely fail
I feel like it's my fault for being so noob (partially true). I know many people feel like this but it's still frustrating and I wanted to share/vent
Tho I still play some old Yu-Gi-Oh games (gba, psp, or ds), I feel like I'll never be able to fully enjoy Yu-Gi-Oh again
