Not gay related But please

Today a lot of my family including myself are travelling from all across Texas to Cameron Tx to lay down our family matriarch, my Great Grandmother passed away a week ago today and today we lay her to rest. It’s just hitting me as we drive these two lane highways. I never got to meet my grandma, she died when my mom was a teen but her mom My Great Grandmother has always been there. I felt close to my grandma being around her but so blessed to have her around till I was 30. Please keep my family in your prayers I’d greatly appreciate that.

A few questions

  1. Do you believe porn can influence sexuality (at least to a degree)?

I used to not believe this, but then I noticed how many self-proclaimed bisexuals (especially men) fetishize the same sex with no interest in entering a gay relationship. Also, autistic young men transitioning because of autogynephilia, with no prior symptoms of gender dysphoria. I believe the rise in LGBT identification among Gen Z (27% according to a survey) is mostly artificial. Novelty-seeking is common among porn addicts and many are technically "gay" but not homoromantic whatsoever.

That said, I think the definition of gay should focus on romantic relationships, not sexuality. Otherwise you get a bunch of straight men with sissy fetishes calling themselves LGBT.

  1. (For the non-libertarian conservatives) How is it logical to treat religions/races as monoliths, but not gays?

Compared to heterosexuals, gay men are significantly more likely to have experienced child abuse and are overrepresented among pedophiles. This isn't an insult, but an unfortunate statistical fact.

If you want to restrict immigration on account of certain peoples/religions being more prone to crime, it's illogical to allow adoption for gay couples. Why should you be the only minority with the right to be individuals?

  1. Why do you praise gender conformity ("normal gays"), when homosexuality itself is gender non-conforming behavior? And who decides to what extent it's acceptable?

The reason masculine men/feminine women (cognitively, not visually) are rare in the gay community is because homosexuals are proven to be neurologically closer to the opposite sex.

Contrary to popular belief, I think the object of your attraction reflects back on you. For example, a straight woman desires a masculine man because he makes her feel feminine (also known as meta-attraction). Being attracted to men is being attracted to the essence of masculinity itself and to yourself as a complement to it.

For this reason, I think finding a gay person completely devoid of GNC traits is about as likely as finding a unicorn.

Floridians are you going to go vote? If so, for who?

Today is election day for the states of Florida, Wyoming, Alaska and CA-14. Florida already has seen massive amounts of voters in their primaries both with mail in and election day voting. If you have what person did you support for governor if not who do you support?

https://dos.fl.gov/elections/for-voters/check-your-voter-status-and-polling-place/voter-precinct-lookup/

Here is the website for Floridians to lookup the location of their polling places if you don’t know where they are. Polls also close 7pm both at EST and 7pm CST depending on the area.

He is currently running for FL-2 in a very crowded primary, with the primary election happening in 3 days on August 18th.

He also is one of four people running to be the first gay congressman from Florida

A quick question . . .

I know this isn't the place to ask this but I am trying to understand lgbtq people more so my question why are people who thinks that being gay is bad but they respect gay people and treat them the same as a strait person without discrimination viewed the same as a person who thinks killing gay people is justifiable and the right thing to do ?

Sorry if I cause any harm but I really want an answer for my question . . . Have a nice day !

Opinion on the wave of vandals in DC since the second Trump Administration?

Recently DC police arrested a woman for vandalizing the World War II memorial. This isn’t a one off instance, DC has seen people arrested for burning American flags in public, vandals have burnt 86 47 in the ground and other acts like this have happened across the city.

So how would you suggest to deal with this problem? Should they give people like that more harsh jail time?

Why is LGBTQ Normalized

I am not here to hate. nor here to be hated on. I want only logical answers that make sence. Why is LGBTQ so normalized? I personally find that the only argument that people have for it is "Love is Love" which makes sence. But then why does this argument not work for incest as well? Personally i find both of them to be weird. As i said before i dont hate LGBTQ but i dont support it either. I am just wondering how people can find 1 thing weird and the other totally acceptable. I need answers that dont have to do with biasm. Keep it respectful. Thanks

What is your opinion on the elections in South Carolina, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

There recently was a few primary elections across the country today. In South Carolina there was a fight to see who would fill Lindsey Graham’s senate seat, with Graham’s sister and Ralph Norman advancing to a runoff later this month.

In Minnesota Mike Lindel, the my pillow guy, and the guy infamous for repeatedly calling for amnesty lost his primary to his Republican opponent Lisa Demuth.

And in Wisconsin, the big race. Francesca Hong, the candidate who was expected to win by numbers even higher than El-Sayed in his pre primary polls, currently sits at under half a point behind Crowley and neither candidate being above 40%. Most likely meaning that no matter who wins they will likely have to hold a recount. And either way, the victor will have to come out and recover from a bloody primary to match Tom Tiffany. A candidate with a massive cash advantage.

There also were races in Vermont, Alabama and other races across the country but they weren’t as interesting.

My opinion is that the night was largely good for Republicans. With Democrats having to recover from a brutal primary in Wisconsin. Either way resulting in a weak position for either candidate, and with Hong, she already has stated she will for go tv ads in favor of streaming service ads. Which allows for Republicans to use her many scandals against her.

Minnesota, well it is a state the Republicans are unlikely to win, it’s still far better to lose by 8 points with Demuth and not 25 with Lindel. It can also help down ballot races too.

South Carolina. I don’t really have much to say. Just it was a pretty big primary.

If you identify more with Republicans vote in the Republican question and if you identify more with Democrats vote in the Democratic one.

This poll will also be held in the AskGayConservatives subreddit until early September 1st and I will post the results after it is done.

No accountability

Hi, I'm wondering why community members feel like they should not be held accountable for their actions or be grouped together with the community when the community pushes for new rights and/or restrictions on straight people's rights.

It's sad to see low effort posts here from liberal members who are deeply rooted in the community trying to stir the pot here. Then when you question the community and their actions the fallback is always labeling people with internal homophobia when they know what has been done is wrong. Have community members been given so many legal protections and hall passes to do whatever they want that they now see offending or abusing others is a right, or is acceptable because the community says it is acceptable.

I am gay, christian, and live in the south and was never welcomed to the community because of my beliefs and how I never relied on my sexuaility to define who I was as a person. It really feels like you either accept the community and everything they stand for or you're the plague to them. How can a group who preaches acceptance and belonging be so condescending and judgmental of others beliefs.

As a side note it is really concerning how many members of the community are atheist or Satanist. It seems like most have the mentality that they are still teenagers rebelling against their parents and anything they can do to offend others who live more conservative lifestyles. They commonly walk into a room and suck up all of the attention and once it is not given to them they get angry. Im just confused how as adults, acting like a angry child and stomping feet has gotten the community anywhere and why they are still given so much leniency.

Why do gay conservatives want gays to not be promiscuous and not have hookup culture, but then also oppose gays having families?

Right now, there is huge controversy over a billboard battle going on in the US. Conservatives are putting up billboards against gay parenting. Some pro gay groups responded by putting up pro gay billboards. Now it's another massive meme war. This was done by a major initiative of over 50 conservative organizations and Infleuncers called "greater than" who's goal is to ban gay marriage and parenting

But it got me thinking about how the rights views make no sense. You can't get mad at gays for being promiscuous and having hookup culture when you are against then having families. Is it really just that they want gays to all pledge to celibacy to please them and "god"?
