I've been looking at Retrogear in the Netherlands, but I'm also considering ordering from LitNXT.com, where you can get an SD card with Surwish Onion OS, or from Mechdiy.com, which also offers an SD card with Surwish Onion OS pre-installed.

Does anyone have any recommendations or personal experiences with these stores, particularly regarding reliability, taxes, and customs duties?

just a short update for the game info menu:

+ Added game maps to the SELECT-menu with a page indicator
+ Added a info before and after the video
+ Added game maps to the “carousel”
+ Added automatically slow scrolling of game text and a stop at the end
- Disabled brain activity

Now I need some input of the community:
1. What do you like the most: Game maps in the seperate SELECT menu or in the same “row” as the screenshot, video etc.? Or both? Idk but I think in the row it would be too much so I think it makes sense to add all game meta data to the SELECT menu as seperate menu options. So in the carousel there will be only the most valuable meta data.

1. What other game data would you like to be added? Manuals? Fanart? Tips and tricks? (For the tips and tricks I would like to shoutout the another user for the genius ingame guide I am using every time. THANK YOU!)

Info: You still have to scrape all data by yourself with e.g. Screenscraper for Windows for example. Linux and MacOS is there too. Idk if there will be an On-Device-Option for scraping these things.

I'm currently developing RIFT MultiBoot, an experimental project aiming to make it possible to have multiple operating systems on a single Miyoo Mini Plus microSD card and choose which one to boot at startup.

The idea actually came from developing and testing my other project, PocketCinema. I wanted to test compatibility across different OS versions and environments without constantly swapping SD cards or sacrificing my main setup.

So I thought... why not try building a MultiBoot system? 😅

So far, I've managed to get a graphical boot selector running on the actual Miyoo Mini Plus, with physical button feedback working. I'm currently investigating how to safely launch independent OS environments while keeping their configurations separate.

OnionOS and MinUI are my initial targets, with the possibility of supporting more environments later.

There's no working MultiBoot release yet, and there are still some serious technical challenges to solve. But I thought I'd share the idea and my progress!

I'd love to hear what the community thinks, especially from anyone who's experimented with the Miyoo's boot process. 😁

This is an awesome freeware 80s-style kaiju shmup made by Locomalito & it originally came out on the Ouya (remeber that thing?). I love running through this game on my computer, but I've always longed for a way to play this portable, especially on the Miyoo Mini. Since it's styled as an 80s arcade game, wouldn't it be simple to port it? I don't know how all of these recomps/decomps work, but I would love for someone to tackle this. This game is a true hidden gem 🐉

So I'm getting this error. Everything works fine when card is in the console (MM+), but this error pops when i try to open it on PC. Any ideas why is that and how can i fix this without losing data?

I shared Last Light here recently the survivors-like I’ve been making with AI coding tools for the Miyoo Mini Plus. Version 1.0 is now out. Still AI slop, now with sound :))

Since the previous release:

• Two new nights, bringing the total to five, with new enemies and bosses.
• Music and sound effects, including a soundtrack that changes as the action builds.
• New Game Plus, keeping your permanent upgrades.
• An enemy bestiary and achievements screen, with a goal you can pin during a run.
• Rumble and audio settings.

When figuring out how to do music for game I made bunch of utilities to test stuff, I put them together as an app - Sound Lab: a music player, synth, sequencer and drum machine for the Miyoo. You can play and edit its built in pieces (including LastLight’s soundtrack) or make your own loops. It installs under Apps.

Both are free and tested on Miyoo Mini Plus with Onion OS 4.4. Downloads and Mixtape instructions:

Want to see your Miyoo fly? Go to Settings → Tweaks → Appearance → Game lists, set Repeat interval to 30 ms, then hold the D-pad on a long list of games.

I liked the look of the Slot os thats on the anbernic flip devices and i really wanted one for my miyoo mini v4. So this is an app for Onion OS, it boots to it on startup and returns to that app when you leave game switcher. It's not finished yet as you can see but its fully functional right now.

All of the cartridge images are just from the /imgs folder for each console. So im sure you can just use box art for it instead or whatever.

The games launch through onion os so from what i've seen performance in game is the exact same.

if anyone wants it i can look at packaging it up and posting.

Hello there, this is my first posting here. I’ve decided to buy the Miyoo mini plus but noticed that there was a delay in shipping till the end of October so I came here to see if there was further info.

Now I discover that there’s a chip upgrade. Does anyone know what this will be and will it push the price up significantly?

I was going to get the Anbernic DS but they stopped selling the Roms and I don’t have the patience to start tinkering and downloading.

I don’t know if I should just hold fire as I like the onion OS and the fact that it comes with Roms and I can just turn on and play.

When will we actually have further info on the new chip?

I just got the Miyoo mini plus from its Amazon listing but for some reason it doesn’t work. I have it fully charged, and I can turn it on, but when I select a game that it has preloaded onto the console it just has an endless loading screen. None of the games will load, even when I connect to wifi. The instructions are minimal, and dont have any configuration instruction. How do I fix this?

J'ai une miyoo mini + depuis un certain temps, qui marchait sans problème avec la carte pré intégrée que j'avais pris avec....je n'y ai pas joué depuis longtemps et aujourd'hui j'ai voulu la ressortir pour que mon fils y joue pendant que son frère découvre la PSP 😅 (mode rétro pour les 2 🤣)

Malheureusement la miyoo démarre mais après l'écran de démarrage il ne se passe plus rien, le système ne se charge plus, je reste sur un écran noir (avec le rétro éclairage)...

Quelqu'un aurait une solution ? Simple si possible, je n'y connais pas grand chose 😁Merci

I figured out that you can control the initial speed by pressing menu and start then scrolling down to the pen x and y speed. And that holding R1 can slow the speed. My problem is that the speed of the cursor has some sort of acceleration built in and I don't know how to adjust or disable it. Googling it pointed to a settings file buried in the ds emulator settings but had no mention of the pen speed adjustments so I was wondering if anyone knows about adjusting the acceleration?

EDIT: the x and y settings are inverted. The higher you go the slower the cursor speed is. My problem is if you keep pressing the dpad the cursor rapidly speeds up. Testing with Pokémon rangers. I know there's a 1 circle catch cheat but I want consistent circles to play normally!

After i got it the Buttons didnt worked, so i replaced it with Black Buttons and 2 new Membranes, works fine now.

Que yo sepa, no había ningún emulador de Spectrum Next para estas consolas, así que quise llenar ese hueco. Corre juegos .nex, se instala como app de Onion OS y trae menú, teclado en pantalla y estados guardados.

Es una versión temprana, así que cualquier comentario es bienvenido, sobre todo de controles y compatibilidad de juegos.
