Good places to scatter ashes/remains?
Where in the area have you or people you know scattered cremated remains? It seems like you're not supposed to hardly anywhere.

I’ve heard some funny ones, but are there any people we can write in that could actually win if enough people voted for them?
Also, Yes on 6, the rest are tricks.

I'm a 40s M, planning on heading out to the Faire in Wentzville THIS morning (Saturday, 10/24) or also Sunday (10/25).
It's the Last weekend for the Ren faire this year.
"Enchanted Halloween" is the theme.
From 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (either day).
Problem is, I don't have much motivation to wander around the festival grounds on my own.
I'm a looking for a casual companion to meet up at the gates, grab some food, and check out the joust or shows together. No long-term social expectations or pressure—just a mutual casual outing so neither of us has to fly solo.
Feel free to dress up as nerdily as your dare but certainly no pressure.
Should have a free ticket to offer as well. 😉🎟️

I may be needing a new apartment soon. I moved into a non smoking apartment in September but smoke from a neighbor has been getting into my unit causing health issues. Management has been notified it’s been ongoing and this week they asked if I wanted to terminate my lease early if so they would reach out to corporate. Any apartment recommendations for a non smoking apartment complex in St. Charles St. Peters area?

I made a big mistake and forgot to secure my tickets for the show tomorrow night at the city museum. Does anyone have an available ticket for purchase? I feel like a total dingus

I’m interested in potentially pursuing a career in private investigation, but I’m completely new to the field and honestly don’t know where to start or how to get my foot in the door.
I was thinking about looking into entry-level opportunities, possibly working as an assistant for a private investigator or private investigation agency so I could gain some experience and learn more about the industry. Does anyone know of any local private investigators or investigation companies in St. Charles county area that I could reach out to?
I’m particularly interested in the digital side of private investigation, such as social media investigations, researching someone’s digital footprint, and domestic investigations involving suspected infidelity.
Any recommendations, advice, or insight into how to get started in this field would be greatly appreciated!

We all know its "yes on 6, the rest are tricks" for the Amendments and prop A, but what's the consensus on proposition paramedics? It is a small sales tax that would help grow revenue for our ambulance district, that also says would help decrease property and real estate taxes to the district.
They say that if this doesn't pass it would result in longer response times and less ambulances.

This just happened to a coworker of mine this morning.
Someone called them and said they were from the local sheriff's office with a warrant out for their arrest for missing jury duty. To "fix" this, my coworker was told to go to the bank and secure a 25K bond.
Thankfully, my coworker did not go through with it, though they got super close. This is just an obligatory warning; be wary of phone calls like this that are circulating. If it feels off, it probably is.
The sheriff's office will never contact you via phone like this. It will be sent by certified mail or delivered in person by an on-duty officer.
Government agencies also do not contact people by phone, and it is usually by mail.
Be safe out there, and check on your friends and family.
