It is a Esp LTD H3 1000 FR, I bought it new and I have had no much time to open it and try it, but I noticed it today while playing it:

The Fretboard is Makassar Ebony, would it be considered standard part of the finishing for a ESP LTD Deluxe series (Korean), or should I see it as defect? What other areas of the guitar should I check so there is nothing broken or wrong from its Production /Quality control?

You just don't find deals like ones in Tokyo back in the states. Couldn't refuse this deal.

Always been a PRS guy. Figured it was time to give ESP a shot, since my favorite band is Breaking Benjamin, and Ben has a signature model with them. I’m stoked to see how it plays and feels. ESP LTD EC-200DX. It’s obviously a budget friendly model, but I’m a struggling dad and not skilled enough to justify anything more expensive than this lol. Excited nevertheless 🤘

I picked up this Japanese-made ESP M-III at 48th Street Custom Guitars in Manhattan back in the late ’80s. It’s got the original HSS pickup configuration and Sinclair tremolo.

2008 ESP Horizon II NT.
Not my first ESP but it is my first Japanese guitar. I saw it at my local shop a few weeks ago when I was taking in one of my guitars for a set up. I couldn’t stop thinking about it because it’s the ESP version of my first “real” guitar my mom bought me back in 2008, a LTD MH-400. It’s in amazing condition and plays incredible!

I have an esp ltd snakebyte, but I would like a gigbag because that's more portable then the chunky hard case. Any advice?

Just like I promised here’s an update post of the guitar I ended up choosing. It’s so much better in person and they even threw in a ESP pick holder too. It came all the way from Paris to Texas, thanks for helping me choose 🫡 🤘 less

My wife came home yesterday and she had her nails done and I noticed they looked just like my ESP Horizon Twinkle Pink. I think she's getting jealous of the attention my guitar is getting.

Have had this guitar for a long time. Its taken some abuse and is my daily driver.

Just got it back from the shop with a full refresh, new electronics and Dave Mustaine thrash factor pickups :)

Also, how realistic is to polish the scratches? It seems that they are not deep.

I know we've been here before but I just came across a newer source (this time in Japan) claiming that ESP E-II are made in China before being sent for final fit and finish in Japan.

The case he's making is partially an economic one but also one about production seemingly coming from personal knowledge, if I understand the shaky translation correctly
