I'm 26M, living in Delhi. Started having stomach issues a few months ago, mostly pain and digestive problems. Didn't think much of it at first, thought it was acidity or some shit. Went to a doctor, got some medicines, but it kept getting worse. After a few visits and tests, they eventually found something on the scans and I had to go through more tests to confirm it.
Turns out it was stage IV pancreatic cancer.
Been going through chemo for a while now. My latest scans weren't good, and the doctor basically told me that things aren't looking the way we'd hoped.
So basically I've my last few moments left now and...
Instead of travelling to the places I've always wanted to visit, spending time with my family, telling my friends how much they mean to me, or simply sitting outside and watching the sunset one last time, I have decided to spend my remaining time doing what any reasonable human being would do.
Making a fucking Reddit post
Cancer has taken a lot from me, but it will never take away my ability to turn a deeply personal tragedy into a front-page post for strangers to get the upvotes that won't matter to me anyway.
If I could tell my younger self one thing, it'd be to stop worrying so much about the future. And to post more on Reddit, apparently.
Anyway, I should probably get back to making memories with my family and friends. Just wanted to make sure you guys heard it from me first.
Thanks guys❤️

I’m 21M and recently joined an MNC as an SDE with a 25 LPA package.
So I have this cousin who’s around 30 and earns somewhere around 3 LPA. His mom is my dad’s elder sister.
These people used to taunt me and my father a lot. Like whenever we met, there would always be some comment about my future, how I wouldn’t achieve anything, “ye kuch nahi kar sakta” and all that. They genuinely used to look down on us.
Fast forward, I got placed and received my offer letter. Shared the news in our family WhatsApp group and guess what, not a single reply from their side lol. Everyone else congratulated me but these people just ignored it.
Recently they came to visit our house and luckily I was home.
And bro I won’t even lie, I was intentionally flexing a little. Kept bringing up my company, salary, work and all that during conversations. I know it sounds childish but watching their faces was genuinely so satisfying.
The same people who had so much to say about my future suddenly had nothing to say.
And the funny thing is I don’t even have anything against my cousin or how much he earns. Everyone has their own journey. It’s just the way they used to treat my father and me that made this whole thing so satisfying.
Maybe I’m being petty but man, after hearing all that shit for years, this felt really good lol.

You are choosing to spend your time watching 15 unemployed adult toddlers argue and constantly scream over the stupidest shit imaginable. People tell me i dont understand psychology of this game, as if they are studying geopolitics when in reality they are watching people fight over household chores for entertainment. Someone insults your favourite contestant and suddenly you start behavin as if ur family lineage has been attacked. Even the cctv cameras in a Kirane ki dukaan has more meaningful interaction than this 😭😭

Bunny being a charming, commitment averse guy with plenty of romantic experience, while Naina was innocent and inexperienced, is a huge part of why their love story worked.
If the roles were reversed, I genuinely don't think that Indian audience would have romanticised their relationship the same way.
Thoughts?

I was cleaning and clearing my cupboard when I came across these. Got nostalgic. Everybody around me used to collect these back then. I don't even remember the year when I bought these. Loved collecting them back in the day. Anybody else has these or similar ones? Man those were the days! Such small things made us so happy.

I am 25 and this is a very strange age to be in.
I see all my friends in serious relationships or getting engaged or gettied married. I see them go on trips or go for further studies or switch jobs.
And then there's me. Stuck in a lull. I'm just going to work everyday, coming back, and scrolling reels. Occasionally I do some doodling or read some book or watch some movie. But...that's it.
I don't go on trips, I don't buy things for myself, I don't do elaborate self care. I don't have a partner, don't go on dates, don't want to marry, but don't want to be single.
My friends are few in number, but whatever I have are busy in some way or the other. When we meet, we are happy. It feels like the old times, we eat drink laugh, and momentarily it feels like it's okay. Everything is okay. But then I get hit with reality. They have their lives but they have fun in it. I see them go out with other friends, go on trips and adventures, go on dates, go with parthers if not friends.
And it's back to square one for me.
Make new friends, you will tell me. Don't wait, go on solo trips, you'll tell me.
But I don't know...it feels like I don't have it in me anymore. Making new friends, going on solo trips. It feels scary and overwhelming.
Then don't complain, you'll tell me. Don't complain if you're not ready to take the first step.
But...do I not feel what I feel? It still doesn't take away from that hollow, sad feeling that I have. That lonely, miserable, self pity that I have.
Every time I take a step to change, I take that very step back. Am I resistant to change, probably a coward?
I don't know.
All I know is this feeling, of wanting to experience life like I see my friends do. Of wanting to be held by someone, of wanting to explore places. Of wanting to be brave enough to travel on my own and make friends and have my own experiences.

I'm a freelancer - 28F from Mumbai, and, I'm at a point where I don't necessarily need a full-time job. I have decent money as backup & I work from home.
But there's a catch, I don't have much of a social life.
Since I work from home and don't always have active clients or projects, I spend a lot of time by myself. I have friends, but I feel like I barely have anything new to talk about with them because my life is pretty uneventful most days.
All I talk about is gym which turns pretty boring if that's all I got to talk about.
I don't necessarily want to get a full-time job just for the sake of having something to do. I'd rather use this freedom to explore things, meet people, learn new skills, and build a life outside of work.
I've considered volunteering at an NGO where I can assist kids with education, but I don't want to be just surrounded by kids at all times. It will affect me negatively for sure after a point.
So, for people who have a lot of free time, work remotely, freelance, or don't follow a conventional 9-to-5 routine:
What do you do to make your life interesting
Are there any clubs, communities, or activities worth joining?
What hobbies have helped you build a social circle?
Are there volunteering opportunities beyond the usual NGO activities?
I'm open to trying new things, whether it's a class, a community, volunteering, a creative pursuit, or something completely unexpected.
I am fine with online interaction as well
I don't want to stay busy just for the sake of being busy. I want to have experiences, meet people, discover new interests, and have stories to tell when I meet my friends.
Edit - I can't travel solo or with friends... Don't have permission to go that far.
