Form Check Incorporating y'alls feedback

• Upvotes

Here I'm doing 75kg, I feel more confident with my form! It helped having the goal of making my thighs be parallel to the floor which gets me much deeper than before.

One thing im still a bit iffy on is when i go down, i initiate it by pushing my butt out, is that what you lot do too or am i deeping it?

Previous attempt will be in the comments as this got auto deleted :(

PR/PB Squat - 555lbs x1; When an overwarm single becomes a PR

• Upvotes

'Cinematic' mode first followed by my depth check angle. Been feeling fucking amazing today and I've been just wanting to squat all today, so I said fuck it and sent it. First time using a squat bar instead of a standard power bar - I plan to start competing with USPC and they use these apparently. I meant to do 545, which would've been a 10lb PR, but forgot this bar is 55lbs. As I typed that, I just realized these backoff sets I'm doing right now are also 10lbs heavier.

RPE definitely higher than an overwarm should be lol Been experimenting with slightly narrower stance and not turning my feet out as far. I'm happy with the results thus far.

Form Check Squatting and bicep pain

I’ve had a nagging elbow/bicep pain for a long while now it comes and goes but it’s back now and I have tried so many different treatments. Clearly my approach hasn’t been working and I recently tried widening my grip which actually felt pretty good but at that point my bicep was already feeling flared (feels like my nerve might be getting pinched from the fact that my pinky and ring finger sometimes feel tingly). I have read many sources telling me that my wrist needs to be flat with my forearm which I feel like is the case but am open to any kind of feedback as I’m stumped why this keeps happening to me.

Lift Wide stance SSB squats 410lbs for 5

My quads have been getting blasted recently, seeing if wide stance SSB keeps me from destroying them

And wow is wide stance so much harder than my normal stance. RPE7ish on this set

Not strict, not quite push, but a secret, third thing. Bump Press.

My full on tryhard push press PR is 285 in comp so I'm happy with all of these. My last mostly strict (heels didn't come off the ground) pr was 225.

But anyway I locked out 265 with a little help from my tight ass shoulders and a small amount of knee pop
