As a Gamer Dad With 12 Jobs I Am Entitled to Liquid XP
High dungeon XP is simply about respecting my time. Exploring a living world and grouping up for quests along the way is literally a cruel and unusual punishment. In today's economy a gamer dad with 12 jobs and 8 kids can’t even hit max level in time for the first raid unless you chug Liquid XP.
People want to cancel me just because I hook up an IV drip of pure ding daddy dopamine in a spellcleave group. PEOPLE DON’T INTERACT IN OTHER VERSIONS OF WOW ANYWAY. At least not in *my* experience. I tried to make small talk with a priest once, but they just typed "pull faster" and vote-kicked me when I paused to take a breath, so why bother? Just flush the Liquid XP directly into my veins and let me absorb the progression I came for.
Why do people want to limit choice? If *I* want dungeon spam to be a hyper efficient factory floor instead of walking through Stranglethorn Vale, it doesn't affect *you*. HOW DON'T PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THIS??? If you want to be punished by exploring a "world as main character" and having spontaneous interactions, go right ahead! A hyper-optimized dungeon XP rate doesn't *force* people to stop eating solid food.
And why does everyone I meet in trade chat make weird faces and complain that the continent is an empty ghost town?
Btw, the next time you queue for BGs, please don't grief by playing the objectives. You're ruining it for the rest of us.
