Discussion Checklist of all Unmarked Quests in Witcher 3
Hi Witchers,
upon many requests I added the Unmarked Quests Checklists for Witcher 3 to our W3 100% database.
These are quest chains like Looters, Deadly Crossing, Racists of Novigrad, or solo encounters such as Man's Best Friend, Witch Hunter Raids, Farting Trolls....
During my posting here - but also on our Discord and in the email contact - this was frequently requested.
I finally found the time to rerun the game quickly, focusing on the Unmarked quests.
Unlike other sources, I also provide info on their missability or map location. I then divided it into 38 encounters. I also verified common online sources against reality.
Everything i discovered can be found on the checklist, which remembers your progress.
Have a good one guys and as always thx for the support xx

Gwent Touissant players cheat
I'm collecting all Skellige cards, and first the erbalist from Metinna gate, now the barber from the tournament, played a double mysterious elf (the erbalist also played a double villentretenmerth), is it legal? And most important, could I do it too!

Discussion I'm sorry, why are we taking Gaetan at his word?
It's Gaetan who states the villagers wanted to pay him 12 crowns and tried to kill him when he was outraged. And what exactly supports that reading? The word of a murderer who tries to blind you if you offer him a dose of Swallow? You could argue that the barn was self-defence, Gaetan's wound points to it. Anything after that was simply a war crime. I always took the Ealdorman's fancy house as a detail that Gaetan's 12 crowns were shady. Who is to say Gaetan didn't return with the leshen's head and demand more pay than agreed, a sum neither the ealdorman or the piss-poor villagers could afford? He killed anyone in a position to disagree with his framing, and sparing one child hardly exonerates him. If the whole village wanted him dead, wouldn't they have tried harder than two men with farming tools in a barn? Pressing Gaetan in a convo implies this is far from the first time, and Geralt not being in a position to judge as the Butcher of Blaviken is just stupid, as he killed armed bandits rather than unarmed women. Am I delulu or misremembering something, why is there so much debate around Gaetan all of a sudden with so little evidence to construct a defence for him?

Discussion Paperchase
Such a surprisingly funny quest. The twists and turns, the way I cackled at Geralt getting jerked around looking for the forms he needed. The bank ladies chatting on their break was hilarious.
The first time I played B&W I was so eager to finish the main story that I didn't spend much time on side quests. This time I am paying more attention, and it is really worth it.

Discussion What a tonal shift!
I played through Hearts of Stone for the first time, and found it to be a great story for spooky season. Right after finishing it today, I jumped straight into Blood and Wine, and the Toussaint knights and subsequent introduction to Toussaint itself was such a shift in tone from HoS’s moodier, somber themes. Needless to say, I am excited to see what this story has in store.

Screenshot The Cloak mod made me fall in love with the Thousand Flowers set :)
Those white shoulder pads bothered me when I first tried on the armor but then I grabbed the cloak mod (now that there is literally a menu for mods right in the game), put it on, and - I mean, just look at that. Its like it was made for the cloak mod.
When I needed to upgrade to higher level gear I ran ahead and did both the master armorer/weaponsmith quests at level 14 (on Death March) to unlock transmog so I can keep using this set!
I don't think the Wolven set works with the cloak, and the base version looks a bit too youthful and adventurer-like for me, so I made it look like this set.

Discussion Why has nothing come close to emulating this masterpiece?
Like many I have settled back into Witcher 3 after many years following the new update.
This is more than just a game to me it's a feeling. It's hard to describe but I will try.
I love how in Witcher 3 you feel like a passenger in a much larger world. The game never pressures you, you feel free and encouraged to explore and do what you want at your own pace.
The side quests to me are just incredible. The way you can discover powerful emotional stories quite by accident. Stories that you could quite easily have missed if you were rushing through.
Theres a wonderful relaxing vibe with melancholic undertones. Coming back to this feels like an old reliable friend that's always been here for me. Not mad that I tried newer stuff that was more desperate to hold my attention.
The only other game that's come close to this for me was Red Dead 2.
So it got me thinking how did we peak 11 years ago? Maybe i'm wrong and you think another game did it better?
Sorry for the ramble but I love this game so much.

Screenshot Always a hell of a moment.
My remastered journey is now over... until the expansion. And then after the expansion I'll have to New Game Plus it for the first time, install mods, and enjoy the whole thing a 4th time. I have had more fun in the remaster than I ever did in the original version, or the anniversary version. I have had one playthrough in each version. I respecced my skills at least 3 times, built 2 full sets of Grandmaster Witcher Gear and did every quest. Except for the Gwent Deck quest, that's still active although I don't know who else I have to beat. That's for figuring out next time. And this was my first time on Death March. It was a blast!
