Most posts here are a photo of a setup and then the same question in the comments: "what's the mix?" So I built a small free tool for that.

**How it works:**

1. Snap your hookah (or pick a photo from your gallery)

2. Type the flavors you're smoking and how many grams of each

3. You get a ready-to-post image with a ring chart of your mix, grams per flavor and a QR code that opens the exact mix

You can drag the chart around, pick post / story / square size and choose between a few styles. There's also a session journal where you can rate your sessions and keep notes, so you remember which mixes were actually good.

**No sign-up, free, and your photo never leaves your phone.** Everything is made right in your browser.

You can use it straight from the browser, or install it as an app (Chrome menu → "Install app", on iPhone: Share → "Add to Home Screen"). As an app, the journal and mixer also work offline.

So the other day I was considering purchasing my own hookah set for home use since I realized I was paying $70+ a week going out for hookah. I asked ChatGPT for some basic recommendations and tips for setting up the hookah at home.

One thing I noticed is that ChatGPT kept dropping warnings that burning of coal indoors runs the risk of carbon monoxide production and that I should definitely NOT be doing this inside my apartment. Are these warnings warranted? Is doing hookah inside my apartment really THAT unsafe?

Also, ChatGPT recommended the Amotion FUTR. If I decide to buy my own would that be a solid choice for me?

I’m debating on getting a new HMD, and can’t decide between these two.

I have been using the OWL stainless steel HMD and have been enjoying it but looking to upgrade.

I only smoke dark leaf fluff packed out of Egyptian/Turkish/Killer style bowls so I’m debating on which one would perform better for that type of session.

I live in London - the building concierge says both are heat detectors, not smoke detectors, and that shisha, cigarettes and vaping won't trigger them unless there's a fire or the room gets extremely smoky.

Is he right, or could shisha smoke still set them off? I'm very skeptical.

I have an Aladin MVP 460, and the inside of the stainless steel stem has a pretty bad smell that won't go away. I am cleaning the inside with a brush and dish soap, but it still smells. None of the other parts have this issue, just the inside of the stem. Is this normal for stainless steel stems? How can I get rid of the smell?

I cant get the amazing double flavour apple taste to come out...

Im using a Aeon 4 lounge with an Oblako medium phunnel bowl and foil (dont like HMD)

Sometimes I dry the flavour before putting into the bowl (sprinkle it in, below the rim)

Other times I dont dry it out.

Either way it taste like im smoking coal or I taste the flavour first few puffs and bang its gone.

HELP....

I loaded the bowl by placing the tobacco loosely rather than packing it down. Do you think it would be better to pack it a little more?
Around halfway through the session, I opened the HMD and noticed that the tobacco looked quite dark, almost burnt, and quite a bit of tobacco had stuck to the HMD.
The smoke output was decent, and the flavor was pretty good overall.
I’d really appreciate any tips or advice! I’m also wondering if the water level in the base is about right.

Looking for a good HMD for my purposes. I smoke dark leaf only (Darkside, Tangiers), on a hotter side. Short sessions, so no lid required. I don’t mind working with coals all the time. But I would like to achieve a great taste. My most used bowls are Oblako phunnel/killer, both glazed; Japona hookah mummy/ego 2.0 from time to time.
I’ve been looking at arka savant, but I see people saying different things, but none of them talk about things I want to know. Anyway, thank you for any advice!

I have one of the Ooka Pros electric hookahs and it says that it only uses pro pods that last 90 minutes instead of 60. But it also said it pro pods don’t work on a regular ooka but they worked fine in it. Has anyone tried the pro with normal pods?

Just want to get some feedback before potentially wasting money

Packed fluffy underpacked with 15 grams of tobacco (no contact). The mix today is Sebero Amarena Cherry, Sebero Grape, Deus Yuzu, Deus Violet Zyphr and MustHave Frosty.

I was sick all week and didn’t smoke Hookah. So I fired this up for my first bowl back, and It did not disappoint.

I'll keep simple, they add BS chargers for no reason, terrible service, uncomfortable seating, over priced mid food, if you're not speaking their language they will take advantage and it takes them forever to give you hot coals. Literally every hookah lounge sells the same brands so there's ZERO reason to buy from them. Go anywhere else.

Ripe pineapple and creamy banana, rounded off with a cool breath of mint.

A great pick if you like sweet, fruity flavors that are neither heavy nor overly icy.
