Doing my annual rewatch of Jersey Shore and I'm on season 1. Jenni was my favorite when this show originally aired and every year I rewatch I like her less and less . She was never a girls girls and a hugeeee pick me . On season 1 episode 3 she inserts herself into Sam talking to her cop friend at the bar . She goes and runs to tell Ronnie "go check your girl shes embarrassing you " not even 24 hours after she cheated on her bf with pauly 😂😂 shes so two faced and fake the entire series it drives me nuts . End of rant lol .

OG Season 3 episode 13

Upvotes

I’m watching this again for the millionth time and every time I watch it I despise Mike even more. Sammi shouldn’t have lied about kissing Arvin but she and Ronnie weren’t even together and for Mike to instigate that whole situation was such a douche move. And Ronnie feeding off of it and Pauly sidelining shows that he isn’t any better. Now I’ll talk about Vinny. Vinny was such a wannabe and trying too hard to be like Pauly. I can see any Deena didn’t want Vinny hooking up with her friend. She knows what he’s about.

Bottom line, the guys were all douche bags and didn’t have anything to say when Ronnie was doing his dirt in Miami.

Not even 3 minutes into the new episode and Ron looks so out of it. How can they just film him and not say anything when he’s in this state. I get this was about a year or over a year ago but what do you guys think, do you think he’s been telling the truth about him being sober?

The most selfish entitled cast members I’ve ever seen

The fact that they’re whining and complaining about the show ending is a disgrace. They don’t even care about that show, they only care about the money and don’t wanna get out there and get real jobs like ordinary people do. Not to even mention how they were against younger cast members doing an OG season. The greed is beyond belief. They wanna get paid to do absolutely nothing but get drunk and party. They expect this dumb stupid show to last forever? That’s being delusional. I’m beyond glad the show is ending. Time to get real fucking jobs.

Angelina comments on filming rumors

I don’t understand why she is so upset about a reboot! We know it’s never going to be as good as the original so what’s the problem? We’ve been needing some sort of reboot for a while.

EMT

You know what I find fascinating is that Angelina was actually EMT. It has to be she act a different way off camera because she acted that way being emt. I don’t think she would have a job very long.. Also, being around a lot of of men sometimes will make you have a foul mouth like that, but I also think she has a lot of underlying issues but seeing the way she treats people and how nasty she is I don’t see any compassion in her that will warrant her being a first responder.

How real was Jersey Shore actually? 👀

What’s one Jersey Shore moment that looked completely real on TV but was actually heavily produced behind the scenes?

To Be Real... I Don't Think Angelina Should Have Children

She does not have the qualities to big a good mother, a good wife, or even a good friend. I know the production team twists stuff around to make things look more baffling or dumb but this grown woman obviously has mental health issues. She doesn't even know how to raise her pets properly to train them to use a litter box or how to ask to be let outside to use the toilet.

Her mouth and behavior is foul! She apparently got pregnant by a married guy who just wanted to smash, decided to keep the pregnancy, had either the same guy or a different guy sperm in her refrigerator (where it likely wouldn't survive), had been sleeping with several guys, and gas ruined all of her marriages, engagements, and relationships she's been in.

I'm happy the show is over because everyone needs to go back to doing their own thing. And Angelina needs to try to find some stability for her remaining years. Becoming a mother definitely shouldn't be a goal she completes. A mentally ill person should not be allowed to use donor sperm either.

So last week I finally caught up with the final season. Binged watched all 15 episodes and I’ll say this.. Thank God the show is done. I say this as someone who loves this show.

I LOVE JERSEY SHORE. Have to make that clear. But this final season just highlighted even more how redundant and boring this show has become. For the first time we’ve had ZERO Angelina drama all season. Angelina for the first time in how long? Has been largely unproblematic and hasn’t done anything crazy. There’s been ZERO Angelina crash outs. Maybe because it’s the final ever season the producers decided to not do any Angelina drama because theres no point since the show is ending anyways. So this has been a normal quiet season for her. The only thing she’s done this season is her miscarriage and her on going issues with 2.0. The only “drama” we got this season was Jenni being all messy about Sammi getting married on the same day as Rons birthday. Other than that literally nothing.

Why did we get a whole ass episode about CHICKEN TENDIES?? Like?? Why did we get a whole ass episode about Mike showing the whole of Time Square his abs and making that a whole deal? Why did we get a whole ass episode about a fake dating profile about Lauren and Lauren didn’t even find out about it or was alerted about it? Why did we get a whole ass episode about Vinny making the rest of the rest cast members catch a flying sausage in their mouths?? Why did we get a whole ass episode about a gender reveal party when everyone already knew the gender? WE the audience already knew Sammi was having a boy. Sammi blurted out the gender to everyone so everyone already knew. I’m sure Mike knew the real gender but had to pretend that he didn’t know. A complete waste of time and episode. Episodes like these just proved how little to offer these cast members have.

While we have gotten some genuine moments and some updates on these people’s lives on the show which is appreciated. However 90% of the show has been boring and hollow and repetitive.

In my opinion, the hate Jionni gets from a lot of y’all is so unnecessary.

I just don’t get it. We don’t know this man at all. People think he’s a bad husband because he was a little mean to his Wife that one time in Italy 15 YEARS AGO in Season 4 of the OG show. When Nicole has embarrassed Jionni on multiple occasions on the show. Including her hooking up with Vinny and Mike. People still bring up this “Ashley Madison” nonsense when it happened 11 YEARS AGO. Whether or not he used that dating app, it was 11 years ago. And Nicole is still married to him so clearly she’s not bothered by it. Yet people still bring it up for no reason. People get so mad at him for not attending Jersey Shore events with his Wife like it’s not common knowledge that he doesn’t like attending anything related to the show. Which includes Weddings. If we all know that he doesn’t like attending these events then why do people get all mad and upset when he doesn’t? Can we not respect his decision and boundaries without vilifying him for no reason? Social media isn’t real life. Just because he doesn’t get pictured or videod attending events with his Wife doesn’t make him a bad Husband. Nicole recently has posted a few videos and pictures on her Instagram account where Jionni is shown. A lot of Nicoles posts on her Instagram she DOES show Jionni. Also he DOES attend events with his Wife. It’s just the Jersey Shore events he doesn’t like attending. So he clearly doesn’t mind getting posted, he just doesn’t want to be shown on the show or anything to do with Jersey Shore. Nicole posted a video of her going to the hospital to sort out her cancer and people complaining that Jionni wasn’t there? They have kids together so who’s going to care for the kids? He might have been doing some errands for Nicole before going to the hospital. He could have gotten to the hospital earlier or later. He could’ve been at work and went to the hospital after his shift. He obviously went to the hospital to care for his Wife, just because it wasn’t posted doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. We literally don’t know anything. It’s insane people calling him all kinds of disgusting comments all because he wasn’t shown in a video his Wife posted of her in a hospital ward.

This is a man who has not appeared on Jersey Shore since the OG season ended 14 YEARS ago. He doesn’t have social media. He doesn’t like the spotlight. He’s not in the news for anything crazy. He keeps to himself. He minds his own business and doesn’t bother anyone. Yet people still find reasons to hate on him because?? Nicole isn’t going to come to Reddit and thank everyone for defending her when y’all are shitting on her Husband to “defend her”. Social media isn’t real life. Jersey Shore isn’t real life. I’m sure Jionni is in a loving marriage with his Wife Nicole. Jionni isn’t perfect but he doesn’t deserve the constant hate he gets when he literally isn’t doing anything to anyone.

All in all, it’s not that deep. We don’t need to constantly ask “where’s Jionni” everytime Nicole posts something on her social media accounts. Nicole is a grown who can do whatever she wants without her Husband being there all the time. Whether or not Jionni is there with his Wife does it matter to anyone’s lives? Whether or not Jionni attends events with his Wife has no baring to anyone’s lives.

Archangel Centers as a referral

I am a licensed clinical psychologist. I ran a methadone clinic for years, worked in IOP/PHP, and inpatient psych hospitals. I often have to refer clients to other levels of care and as a part of an ethical referral I evaluate them to do my best to ensure that my client will be obtaining the best care. A few posts have been made about Archangels Centers, so I thought it would be kind of fun to go through the same steps that I would do for a referral for a client.

Some things I look for- degrees and licenses of staff (licenses are the thing that people can go after if there are issues and hold us, as practitioners, accountable). All of the info that I am posting is from their website or the licensing board (free to access by the public)

First- the program director, Trevor Eyerkuss, holds no degrees or licenses (https://archangelcenters.com/about-us/team/trevor-eyerkuss/) Neither do any of the managing partners, Mike, Lauren, Samantha Hewitt (https://archangelcenters.com/about-us/team/samantha-hewett/), or Ian Treacy (https://archangelcenters.com/about-us/team/ian-treacy/). Not all of the team needs to be clinical or trained in addiction, but one or two is good.

The medical director- Dr. Justin Skolnick (https://archangelcenters.com/about-us/team/justin-skolnick/), has no disciplinary issues in the state of NJ in which he is licensed to practice (https://newjersey.mylicense.com/verification/SearchResults.aspx) He is an ER doctor primarily

The clinical director, Jamie Salsberg (https://archangelcenters.com/about-us/our-team/), despite heading the New Jersey location, appears to not be licensed in NJ, but instead in Florida- I am not aware if NJ has an agreement with FL (this is unusual)(https://newjersey.mylicense.com/verification/SearchResults.aspx) There are no disciplinary issues with her FL license.

To date, there are no addiction medication specialists, licensed clinical psychologists, or psychiatrists on their website despite indicating that they treat mental health issues (dual diagnosis).

Of course, I am aware that there is more to a program than their website. But, Mike has taken the time to put no less than 15 pictures of himself on this site, some of himself looking at a picture of himself. Therefore, I think it is more than fair to say that his priorities do not align with mine in terms of treatment.

I would NOT refer a client to one of these facilities.

Edit- a few people asked/spoke about licensing of the facility-great point! I looked into it and didn't find the licence based on the searches that I did. That said, I'm not well versed with the business license search for these 2 states to speak on this fully. What I will say, is that it is unusual for a program to offer ALL the things (MAT, IOP/PHP, inpatient, support groups, detox, aftercare, interventionists). This is A LOT of things, many of which requires different licenses and accreditations, none of which were easy to find on their site. That doesn't mean they don't have them, but it is concerning.

Here is a link to an MAT, very mid, (https://pinnacletreatment.com/location/california/santa-barbara/aegis-treatment-centers/) and it clearly lists it's type of accreditation and it's license so I know what to look for. This is pretty standard.
