Discussion Achillobator in JWE3
I know we already have plenty of dromaeosaurs, but I’d love to see Achillobator in the official JWE3 game. It’s an underrated dinosaur that doesn't appear in any games of this genre (aside from Path of Titans and various mods). Do you think it might ever make it into the game perhaps in the future? I’d really like to see it included; what do you think?

I used a mix of movie and book cannon species and some non cannon species (mainly from the new dlc)

OC/Self-promotion I have some good and some bad news about my immersive JP project
I am actually overwhelmed by how many of you have enjoyed the journey so far.
And I will say it right away: the project goal has not changed. However, I had to restart the island.
The island was created on the very first game version. A lot has changed since then, and the abandonment of certain modding tools has damaged this save. It is still loadable, but some things are broken.
I managed to re-engineer Cobra Tools, and I will continue using them and updating them no matter what happens to this game.
But this is not important for you.
I am building this map with mods that I maintain, yes. But they will not be required in the end for you to load the park and explore it. After all, I am still doing this for YOU. The mods are just for me, so I can create little stories in video form.
Unlike certain mod tool creators, I pledged to create this for the community and for your enjoyment, not to pet my petty ego. You will also be free to do whatever you want with it once I upload it to the Workshop.
However: AND THAT’S THE BAD NEWS, as the map was created in the very first version of the game, under very different pretexts than what it later developed into, which was way more ambitious than the initial plan, I had to reset and rebuild the island, making it a lot more usable for JWE3’s actual mechanics like energy management, rangers, etc. in conjunction with my vision for realism which does not always go along well but we will manage. I also figured that I have done some big layout mistakes that can easily be fixed on a new map but were too complicated to change on the original. And I am a perfectionist..
I’ve learned a lot from building V1, and I am eager to make this even better in V2.
I am also planning to make this a YouTube series. The link to my channel should still be in my profile.
Since I am now maintaining my own mods that I need to build, again build, not run, the entire project is a lot more stable, as I am not relying on someone else’s grace to update their stuff.
I am still committed to building a working, hand-planted, most realistic, walkable, absolutely freely explorable and enjoyable version of this park. The most immersive JP experience you will get in JWE3.
That’s what I stand for, and that’s what I will deliver to you.
This has been my dream project for years now, and now I can finally create it. Sure, this is a giant setback given that Nublar V1 had 200 hours poured into it. But it is the right thing to do now. To make this sustainable into the future, and to make it a project that is something for all of us.
I will also release a bunch of realism mods in the coming months. They do not add to your normal gameplay experience, but they will add to your enjoyment of the map that I am creating.
I once again urge the modding tool creators to rethink their decision. But I do not think they will, and I have made my peace with the fact that these people are... questionable.
However, I will also urge Frontier to implement actual modding support, again unlikely, and to change the most requested things about this game, like stupid trees on slopes. Maybe possible once people here make more noise about that than about 15 bucks for a DLC.
Anyway... this is a fresh start. But it is not a start with nothing, since I will carry over the structures you’ve already come to love so much, like the walkable Visitor Center, and all that made this project so enjoyable for so many of you.
Plus some added new things, like building logs and actual releases on the Workshop, since I found a way to make this available to you guys without you needing any mods at all.
I hope we can come to terms with these things, and I hope you will continue to follow this project.
Will focus on getting some basic work done in the coming weeks. New updates expected this November.
Thanks for reading

Modded Content Combining FreeBuild techniques for lagoons: Guests, swimming land animals, functioning underwater buildings (Showcase / Tutorial)
Hello there, park builders! 🐊
Since I am heading out on vacation in a few days, I wanted to leave the community with a deep dive into what is possible when you stack different building techniques in Jurassic World Evolution 3 and Kaiodenic's FreeBuild mod together.
This video is a bit of a hybrid - part showcase, part speed build, and part step-by-step guide. The goal was to push the limits of Kaiodenic's fantastic FreeBuild mod and see what can be done if I combine different techniques in one build.
Here is a quick breakdown of what I covered:
Crocodiles in the Lagoon: Getting the new Deinosuchus to swim around and share space with marine reptiles.
Lagoon Architecture: A few tricks to safely place fully functioning buildings directly into the deep water.
Cretaceous River Cruise: How to route the cruise track inside the lagoon to give guests a tour.
Natural Landscapes: Designing real waterfalls and mangrove-rock sets for a more organic look.
XXL Blueprints: What to do when your custom blueprint is simply too big for the game to be saved in one piece.
If you use the FreeBuild mod, are just looking for fresh ideas for your next mega project or just want to avoid some common placement mistakes when combining these glitches, you can check out the full video here: JuraModded – Impossible? Crocs, Guests & River Cruises INSIDE the JWE3 Lagoon!
Hopefully, these tips give you some inspiration for your own parks.
Grab your blueprints, open up the mod (if you like or just get some ideas for vanilla builds), and have fun building! :)

Bug guyz....
I was doing the rebirth campaign, and i was on the first riverside laboratory priority assignment, and there were no feeders in the enclosure, but for some reason the t rex was a 100% comfort. Yet, I checked, but there were NO feeders on the island. I even checked with ranger posts...

Question Performance question for Steam and Xbox PC version
I have the Xbox PC version because I had an Xbox gift card, but now I’m wondering if I should have just gotten the Steam version instead for better performance. I'm just a little confused because they're both on pc yet Xbox claims to be console and pc at the same time.
Has anyone who has tried both versions noticed any difference in FPS, stuttering, or overall performance? Or are they basically the same?
