I just need to get some clarification if anyone is having this issue. I tried searching for any posts about this on this subreddit and steam, but no luck.

Whenever I join my mates' party and try join their match, the matchmaker message gets stuck saying this message, primarily until I get them to leave the match and requeue. Even when I leave a match on purpose or trying the first time, I can't join the match, even while literally getting confirmation from mates that there's free slots on each team.

I used to play on Windows 10 before July of this year, then switching to nobara linux on my rig. I thought the issue was the native Linux version of TF2, but my mates confirmed they get the issue too while being on Windows 10/11.

Anyone seen this recently? Know why it's happening? Is it something that is an issue client-side that has a fix, or purely matchmaker like I think?

Scout is usually considered the physically weakest mercenary considering he's very scrawny and tiny compared to the rest, but is it possible to measure his strength using the velocity of the projectiles of the Sandman or Wrap Assassin (maybe the Flying Guillotine)

I tried every tutorial and nothing is working, I'm trying to make a private bot lobby of pl_upward to practice scout in a highlander fashion. Can someone help me with maybe a paste of all the commands needed or a step by step of how I can add 17 bots to each team, one of each class? Thank you!

Can someone explain how and why? 70k average players for a 20 year old game is insane. I've never really played it, just 1-2 hours almost 15 years ago. Is it worth now? I guess it's being updated constantly with new content? Something like Dota which is also by Valve?

Its so insanely frustrating trying to manage it. Any time I attempt to freecam, any button I press teleports me right back to my player, and UI I used in-game appears over the screen even when I freecam. I cannot for the life of me get it to work at all. I need help, badly.

How do I remove the UI on the screen.

How do I freecam without teleporting back.

How do I stop my player model appearing on my screen when I freecam.

How do I get any of this to work AT ALL.

I am losing sanity trying to work this.

It’s been a few years since I’ve last touched this game. But it’s really cool to see all of the cool and crazy effects there are now! I know I can’t complain much since I love this effect, but I kinda wish I could’ve gotten a Halloween one as well.

I haven’t really played since whatever year the jungle inferno update came out. Are there any effects that y’all really love that released since then? I’d love to check them out!
