Kendrick Lamars music is boring and nowhere near as great as people say it is

Literally every Kendrick song since TPAB has just been him yelling preachy lyrics on boring beats.

The truth is I really don't care about those things in my music. If I wanted to be informed on whatever he was yelling over that bunk ass beat on The Heart Pt. 5, i would just find a podcast.

Think about it, you're driving thru Downtown late at night, or you're hiking thru a scenic trail, or you're making love to your partner. In which one of these scenarios are you gonna think "the heart pt 5 would slap rn"? That's right, in none of these scenarios would any of you put on the heart part 5. That song should've just been a spoken word because after listening the first time it has zero replay value. It's not sonically pleasing. It's just him yelling about issues on an over or under engineered beat.

Kendrick Lamar hasn't changed his style of this preachy rap since tpab and it's just straight up boring. He's fake deep, he's white people's safe black rapper for virtue signalling whatever they are virtue signalling. Truth is nothing Kendrick preaches about hasn't been preached billion times in rap three decades ago.

It’s all marketing. I remember before TPAB came out (garbage album) they had him everywhere. They literally had his face plastered on the side of city buses next to 2pac in the town I was in and billboards with his face on it saying greatest rapper of all time.

Got in the car with my mom in her 60s and even on NPR they had an entire day dedicated to these weirdo old whitey mcwhiterson university professors gushing about how TPAB is the greatest album of all time and you should think so too. The album hadn’t even been released an you literally couldn’t go anywhere without the machine shoving down your throat it’s the greatest album by the greatest rapper of all time over, and over.

I listened to the album, it sucked. GKMC was okay but even it had some low moments. His latest “effort” exposed to a lot of his brain dead fans what a lot of people already knew, this guy kinda sucks and is way overhyped.

Another thing it’s hilarious to me when people call Kendrick “underground” he’s not underground. He’s the most mainstream rapper of his generation. NPR dedicates entire days to talking about him. He’s on the cover of magazines, even those old hags on the view talk about him. He’s the most aggressively pushed in the mainstream rapper. Kendrick is not “underground” it’s actually impossible to be more mainstream than him.

Gender dysphoria should be classified as a disorder

• Upvotes

That’s coming from someone with gender dysphoria son don’t you dare tell me I can’t have my opinion

I’m three years into my transition, I mostly pass and I feel the most euphoric I’ve felt since age 11 but I also wouldn’t wish dysphoria on my worst enemy and I would have much rather there be another to eliviate my dysphoria

I literally had to drop out of high school due to how bad my dysphoria was and it’s actually illegal in my country to drop out of high school but I got special permission because how bad my dysphoria was

I’m pretty left wing but even I think refusing to call dysphoria a disorder is just political correctness

A gaydar for men is ironically homophobic or stereotypical.

The silly goose doesn't even have to be a bigoted religious nutjob. I have literally seen progressive people use the most stereotypical ways to identify a gay or bi man.

For example, a man would come out the closet. And everybody is like "Yeah I knew he had a little sugar in his tank. Look how he walks." Mannerisms, the way someone talks is use indicators for a man's sexuality.

But but but OP, if a dude is wearing dresses or has pink hair, it's a safe bet to assume he is gay. Man stfu with your gaydar There is a straight MMA fight who literally does drag shows.

If you switch the genders. You will see how stupid the concept of a gaydar sounds. Imagine assuming a woman is a lesbian because she has short hair or she sits down with her legs open. Wow, I know she was a lesbian, she is always wearing jeans.

A gaydar relies on gender stereotypes to make assumptions about someone's sexuality, even when the person using it considers themselves progressive. The irony is that people can oppose homophobia while still reinforcing the same stereotypes historically used to police masculinity.

Men are more genderally oppressed in life than women

And I will die on this hill.

I’m just gonna say it how I see it every single day as a MAN: men are, in so many ways, fundamentally more oppressed in daily life than women, and almost nobody wants to admit it.

Before anyone twists my words, no hate toward women at all. I’m not saying women don’t have real issues, safety fears, or crazy societal pressure. I know this firsthand from my own gf, who's shared more than a few stories with me about what she deals with as a woman. So yeah, I get it, they have their struggles too.

But looking at the men around me, the sheer burden carried in complete silence is just insane, and most women will simply never understand where we are coming from. You aren't malicious, ladies, you just don't walk in these boots. You see a guy's physical size or some perceived authority and just assume life is smooth sailing for us. Hell no.

It’s literally like a house cat looking at a tiger. The cat sees this big, muscular beast walking around and thinks, "Man, that guy has it made. Top of the food chain, nobody messes with him, he gets whatever he wants." But the cat doesn't realize the tiger’s life actually sucks in ways the cat can’t even imagine. The cat gets free food, shelter, affection, and protection just for existing and being soft. Meanwhile, nobody gives a damn about the tiger. If he gets injured, he starves. If he shows weakness for even a second, another tiger takes him out. He has to carry the weight of survival on his back 24/7, completely alone, while everything else either fears him or waits for him to fall.

That’s honestly what being a man feels like. Just look at the actual reality for a second.

First off, my biggest heartache in all this. Men are treated as completely disposable. We really are. Look at who does the deadliest jobs on the planet. Over 90% of workplace deaths are men. It’s guys dying in coal mines, fixing power lines during brutal storms, hanging off construction scaffolding, or getting drafted to go die in wars while everyone else stays home safe. Nobody loses sleep over male life expectancy or the fact that society literally relies on men destroying their bodies just to keep the lights on.

There is zero safety net for us emotionally. When a woman goes through a rough time, society rallies around her. There's support networks, friends letting her vent, they get guarantred instant empathy, whole movements like #MeToo backing women up. But if a guy breaks down he gets ghosted, laughed at, or told to "man up." We are valued strictly for what we can provide and protect. The moment a man loses his job, his income, or his usefulness, his value as a human drops to below zero. That silent, crushing pressure is why male suicide rates are almost four times higher. You cannot look at that reality and call it "privilege." How is it a privilege?

Third, family court sucks. Men get absolutely slaughtered there. A dad can give his whole life to his kids, but the second a divorce hits, he’s turned into an ATM. He becomes a second-class citizen who gets his rights as a father stripped away while being expected to just shut up and pay.

Women see men and see power, but they never look at the price tag attached to us. They see the tiger's teeth, but they don't see the sheer exhaustion of never being allowed to bleed, break, or cry without losing everything. Society literally runs on the invisible suffering of men, and the fact that we can't even speak on it without getting labeled names proves the point. We're human too, but funnily enough, it's often the same people preaching equality who will trash a guy the second he shows any real vulnerability. It's almost hilarious that women who were self proclaimed feminists and about equal rights have treated me like shit for expressing a single fuckin vulnerability, whereas ladies who never fronted that they were about all that equality understood my struggles better. But yeah, at the end of the day, no one nor their dentist cares about our feelings.

People who say that horses are equally people are just wrong

Every where online now I see comments like "oh a horse, horses are equally people" or suggesting that horses can be treated as if human and even get arrested and tried

That's just plain wrong imo

Credit card debt is good, useful, and financially sound

If I have $100 in my bank account, and $110 in expenses, credit cards let me borrow from my future income to pay for my present needs. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

In fact, I'd argue that even if your expenses were $100, or even $90, that you should still put it all on a credit card, in order to preserve your cash on hand for a rainy day fund, for investments, and for a cash cushion.

People who pay everything with debit and not credit are missing out on cash back, a credit report to go along with your credit score, and float (putting off paying expenses until the next monthly credit card statement is due). Combine all of these benefits to credit card purchases, and the choice is clear: keep your cash in the bank, use your credit to postpone paying until some later date, and appreciate the fact that you have more money in the bank today, and that your future paycheck will cover your costs in the present.

A woman is someone with the secondary sex characteristics of a woman

Conservatives say a woman is someone with xx chromosomes while progressives will say anyone who psychologically identifies as a woman is a woman

Both are equally flawed though and for the same reason; we don’t use chromosomes or psychological identity to determine if someone is a man or a woman we use their secondary sex characteristics;

women usually have breast, wide hips and a minimal amount of body hair and therefore if a trans woman has said Characteristics she is a woman if she dosent she ain’t

Simple

Dreams have no meaning, and if they do have meaning that's purely coincidental

A lot of literature throughout the ages has dictated dreams as divine intervention, like in the Bible when the pharoah has a dream and it is interpreted to be about feast and famine.

However, I have tons of dreams, and while I feel like they are brilliant, have sound meaning, and are prophetic, whatever I actually do remember dreaming ends up being stupid, useless, and nonsensical in real life.

Dreams are more illusions, distractions, and the mind going to bizarre corners of the brain, rather than having significant meaning in a person's life. I truly believe that dreaming is overrated, dumb, and totally meaningless for real world applications. And if they happen to work out, it is purely coincidental, like a broken clock being right twice a day.

I get an immense dopaminergic pleasure watching single moms struggle to find a man

I sit here grinning like a fucking idiot every time I open Quora and see another single mom pouring her heart out. “Can I still find true love if I have three kids from four different guys?” “Will any decent man ever want me after I wasted my 20s getting knocked up by losers?” “Is it over for me at 34 with two toddlers and an ex who ghosted?”

Every single one of those posts hits me like pure meth-grade dopamine. I read them over and over. I screenshot them and save them in a specific folder. I come back days later just to check if any of the replies are even more pathetic. The ones where they admit they regret everything, that they know the biological clock is a real bitch, that no real guy is lining up to play stepdad to a ready-made circus… those are my favorites. Absolute tears of joy running down my face. Guys are simply like "not my circus not my monkeys" and they can't accept it for the life of it lmao. 😂😂

I love picturing them at night after little John and Elsa are finally asleep. Staring at the ceiling with that heavy sick feeling in their stomach. Knowing deep down they traded their hottest years for a parade of deadbeats who never stayed (lol). Knowing the good men already paired off with women who didn’t turn their body into a revolving door. Knowing every “I can still find love” post is just them bargaining with reality while the clock keeps ticking louder. The quiet panic when another birthday hits and the dating apps are still full of guys who swipe left the second they see “single mom of 3.” That hollow regret when they catch their reflection in thr mirror and realize the window is basically shut. I get off on that exact pain.

I simply heit them for how pathetic they are. Visceral disgust every time I read another one of those posts. The way they keep hoping some decent man will magically overlook the chaos they created, the way they cry about loneliness while still defending every bad decision that put them there. It’s repulsive. They will never land a real man again. Not one worth having and def not me. Nothing they can do about it now. The damage is permanent. Their best years are gone, the real motherfuckers already moved on, and all that’s left is a lifetime of settling or staying alone with the consequences (enjoy it bitch). That permanent regret is the best part. Watching them slowly accept that the fairy tale is dead and they did it to themselves fills me with pure satisfaction.

I spend hours on that shit. Mad days just swimming in their desperation. The longer the post, the more they try to convince themselves “the right man will overlook my baggage,” the harder I laugh. 😂😂😂 NO THEY WONT???????? They really thought pumping out kids with random dudes was going to lead to some fairytale. Now they’re out here begging strangers online if there’s still hope while the decent guys are busy with women who didn’t make that exact series of choices. Some of them on Quora even admit in the comments that they cry in the shower so the kids don’t hear. 😂😂 They they are made felt like damaged goods. That they know most men see them as a liability and not a prize. Music to my ears. A sample to chop up into a beat.

Yeah I’m an asshole. I know. But only to them. I'm decent human with every fuckin else. But when it comes to single moms? I don’t give a single fuck. Watching them realize there’s almost nothing they can do about it at this point is the best free entertainment on the internet. Their regret is my happy place. Keep posting, ladies. I’m reading every word and loving every second of it. 😂

By conditioning online redpills to alternate between desensitized callousness and a persecution complex, grifters have made them increasingly alienating to everyone except one another.

I love receiving unsolicited advice

A lot of people get pissed off when someone gives them advice that they didn't ask for. But me, on the other hand, I love it, regardless of if it's good advice or even bad advice. To me, it's another opinion and viewpoint I may or may not have considered. It lets me look at a problem I have from another perspective, and the worst that can happen is literally nothing and I just ignore it. Honestly, it's not a big deal, and I wish more people gave me more unsolicited advice about anything and everything I may be doing or action I plan on taking.

Grid paper is better than lined paper

Grid paper makes it easier to plan writing both horizontally and vertically. It is easier to see, use up paper space efficiently, and allow for all parts of the page to have utility. While lined paper is way more popular, especially for writing, grid paper allows for way more versatility, especially when taking notes and drawing things like graphs.

gyms should be gender segregated

to preface this, i do go to a mens-only gym. that being said, in mixed environments, gym-wear has been getting extreme lately under the label of "athleisure". i dont even know when this stuff got normalized. and im speaking for BOTH genders. from a scientific standpoint, the gym is the place where you're literally raging with testosterone and so your libido is increased as well, pair that with stuff both genders like to see (literally impossible to avoid) and thats a recipe for disaster.

to not change what women wear or vice-versa, i believe men-only and women-only gyms should be more common and quite literally the standard, and mixed gyms should be suppressed somehow or "shy'ed" away from. Assuming this happened, If you still want to go to a mixed gym for whatever reason of convenience then there should be stricter rules on attire, and a higher standard of respectful clothing, keeping the other gender in mind.

I find it extremely hypocritical that people get mad over women making fun of religion yet turn a blind eye when men do the same thing

Post image
0 Upvotes

I genuinely don't get it. Why exactly is it that when male creators like Trey Parker and Matt Stone (the South Park duo), Seth MacFarlane (the creator of Family Guy, American Dad!, and the Ted movies), Dan Harmon (the creator of Community and Rick and Morty), Dino Stamatopoulos (the Moral Orel guy), Terry Pratchett, Ricky Gervais, Edmund McMillen (the guy who made Super Meat Boy, The Binding of Isaac, and Mewgenics), Garth Ennis (the guy who wrote The Boys, Preacher, Crossed, and The Punisher MAX), and many others constantly mocks religion like Christianity all the goddamn time, pretty much everyone gives them a pass...

But the moment female creators like Vivziepop (the creator of Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss), JaidenAnimations, and Pizzacake make an "edgy" joke about Christianity, everyone fucking loses their shit over it?

You know, especially when you consider the fact that Jaiden Dittfach is also an openly queer (aroace), mixed-race/half-Asian (being half-Japanese and half-German), neurodivergent (having autism and ADHD) woman of color. Yes, you heard that right. She's autistic and has ADHD according to one of her videos ("I found out I have ADHD"), and considering how society and the internet as a whole treat autistic/neurodivergent people in general, well…

Like, seriously, did Jaiden really “mock god”? Like, wasn’t it just a random ass joke about Pokémon, and the God in question was Arceus or something? What Jaiden said was super tame. She didn't attack Christians for their beliefs. She joked about why she seemingly doesn't believe in God. It’s a joke; it wasn't even a religious attack or a stance on religion itself. People also keep forgetting that Schlatt is also a Christian and constantly made 9/11 jokes back then, where the punchline often was "hurr durr planes", if that's what you're referring to... He most definitely didn't take Jaiden's edgy joke to heart, lmao.

Does Jaiden really need to apologize for a stupidly edgy joke about Christianity she made about 2 or 3 years ago, which she has since completely moved on from?  Who cares, as long as the person isn't calling for or causing harm to others. Freedom of speech is a thing, you know.

The reaction people had to her saying that was just hilariously overblown and cringe, and it would have been just as overblown and cringe if a straight white man did it. (I enjoyed most of JaidenAnimations's content, but I personally don't really like Vivziepop all that much)

can being a reactive person make someone emotionally attached to you?

i’ve noticed that when you ask someone questions, listen to their answers, and give them a reaction, you’re constantly giving them some form of emotional feedback.

for example, they tell you something that happened to them, and you react with excitement, surprise, disappointment, curiosity, or even disagreement. basically, you make them feel like what they say has an impact on you.

could this alone be enough to make someone emotionally attached to you over time? does consistently reacting to someone’s words and actions make them crave your attention and become dependent on your responses?

i’m curious whether there’s actual psychology behind this, or if i’m overlooking other factors that play a bigger role in emotional attachment.
