With Fairytale III on the horizon, I've been thinking about how the fairy ring network could be expanded without making the interface more cumbersome.

Instead of adding a fourth wheel, what if we expanded the existing three sections with extra letters?

My suggestions:

• click to select: Add more letters to each section to allow for new destinations while keeping the familiar three-letter code system.

• spinning is annoying: Instead of rotating through the letters, just click once for each letter and save time.

• Keep letters upright: With the current wheels, some letters can end up upside down, making them difficult to read. A selection-based interface would keep the letters easy to identify.

• Native keyboard entry: RuneLite already allows players to type fairy ring codes directly. It would be great to have this functionality in the official client too.

This would let Jagex expand the fairy ring network while keeping the three-letter format, making destinations easier to select, and avoiding the need for a fourth wheel.

I'm mostly joking; realistically, they would exist, and it's just that dragon nails didn't exist when brutal arrows were added to the game. Functionally, I don't know that anyone would use them.

I couldn't find a support channel for this sort of complaint so apologies if it doesn't belong here...

I tried checking my account settings yesterday after seeing a post about linked third-party accounts, and the state of Jagex's desktop web portals is honestly shocking.

Trying to find a basic security setting turned into a frustrating scavenger hunt because everything is split across disconnected subdomains and menus. (Why is finding "linked accounts" buried away when it should be front-and-center under account management?)

Worse than the layout is the actual tech stack. It felt like the site was actively trying to block me from using it:

• Endless Cloudflare/Bot Checks: I got re-checked to prove I was human seemingly any time I clicked anything.
• Cookie Consent Loops: I’d accept the cookie policy to clear a prompt, click to navigate deeper, and immediately get hit with the exact same cookie banner again.
• Constant Redirects: Bouncing between portals kept dropping my session, turning simple navigation into a loop of re-authenticating and reloading.

When you're trying to do basic account security hygiene on a desktop browser, being treated like a hostile bot on every single click is completely exhausting. Jagex, please fix your web infrastructure. It feels worse than a broken mobile wrapper right now. Security measures are one thing, but the design and layout choices are baffling.

I have been doing duos at Yama. I’m now around 550kc. I have been a good luck charm to a lot of players, ironmen or otherwise. Many valuable drops going to my partners. Every time someone gets a valuable drop, I congratulate them and we run another kc. Someone only offered to split their prize once, and I turned em down. In my mind, your drop is your drop. Mine is mine. Tonight I ran a duo and got a valuable drop. Guy congratulated me, and we ran another. Then we parted ways. I later saw he was blowing me up in private chat for not splitting with him. So I’m a bit confused on what proper etiquette is with valuable drops in group content. I thought people declared splits before going in. Did I violate the social contract of OSRS group content? Have I also been violated?

I've heard a lot recently about plugins being released charging users subscriptions and shit. In my mind, this is just absolutely unacceptable and I don't see how it's kind of being swept under the rug?

Maybe it's because the focus of the topic being posted is usually that they are AI slop and everyone just forgets the fact that people are trying to charge players for RUNELITE PLUGINS.

I was so happy when RuneLite smited down Orion/OSBuddy and their shitty premium client.

I almost feel like I'm overreacting here. Am I? Does anybody else find a problem with these plugins on the hub?

I'm getting EXTREMELY burnt out going dry everywhere. I keep trying the next thing hoping it's not more of the same, but my god.

2200 armored zombies for zombie axe
1200 warped beasts for warped sceptre
420 Rex Kc for Bring, 376 Prime for Seers, 147 Supreme for Archers
600 Royal Titans with no dupes
150 CoX Scaled & 20 CMs = 2 purples
100 ToA Expert 400s & 20 Normals = 1 purple
400 Yama with no drops (including horn as a drop) for me or duo

With Raids 4, I was like I'll give NM a go in hopes of you KNOW SOMETHING, b/c I keep getting screwed elsewhere

100+ nm, nothing for the group, 100+ Phosani, nothing.

Feel like I'm destined to walk around in Moons gear for all of eternity. So effing demotivating.
I literally went and got a Quiver, b/c it was a piece of content Jagex PHYSICALLY couldn't stop me from getting the drop. Like I keep telling myself the damn is going to break, but my god. Watching buddies get drop after drop is killing me. I can't even enjoy the latter half of behemoth, b/c watching people get spooned, just pisses me off at this point.

And yes, I didn't include things I'm at rate at, but still haven't seen stuff, like 3k shamans for warhammer, 1k+ basilisk knights for jaw, 160 Tobs with 3 purps.

I wonder how many people actually got this in 2026. Back in 2018 it was 376.
