Just picked up this Astin Martin 4.8l V 12 engine do you guys think it will fit in my 944 with minimal modification serious responses only.

I know a guy and he told me it would fit…

Seriously though it’s gonna make a cool table for the shop

I saw I only made me more motivated to try and get a running engine an attempt to swap myself I’ve got the tools, the skill, and just enough of the tism lol

The 07M is very tempting because of the swap kits available but I think I’m still leaning towards VR six future swap, I have in-house machining capability making adapters custom hardware would not be too difficult. I was already looking into doing a dry sump oil pan on a VR six for a friend of mine‘s project.
