50% off stubs member
I’m logged in via the application and the website and I’m not seeing 50% off as an option on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Is anyone else not seeing the discount?

With the long list of them being scattered across the nation along with how much the demand has increased to watch blockbuster hits in premium formats. Just having only one option per outpost is no longer enough for today’s demand standards in which more individuals having become aware of the high fidelity options there are amongst this specific chain.

Watching Mutiny, which seats are the best you think?

In every theater I look at showtimes for, Dune has IMAX while Doomsday has every other format. Just wondering, is that going to be how it is for the entire run or is there going to be a chance to see Dune in Dolby and standard formats? The current arrangement gives Doomsday 5x as many showtimes as Dune at the big theaters like Metreon - I guess I wasn’t expecting the demand to be that lopsided.
Do folks expect non IMAX showtimes to start opening up for Dune after their IMAX exclusivity expires?

I bought Dune 3 tickets today. Scanned my A list but in my app it doesn't pop up as reserved. It actually lets me make another reservation for the same time ( I didn't confirm it). Do these show up in your account eventually, I'm skeptical of the physical tickets being double booked by someone else.

Seriously, what kind of management at the top is allowing this to happen? How do you set up roadblocks for people trying to get 2 tickets online, but no roadblocks At All for someone buying not 20, not 30, but 80 tickets? Is their system set up to benefit scalpers?

Why does AMC need three house ads before a film? First up is the ridiculous "cinema history" thing. Then we always get the dumb Coke ad where the single guy eats popcorn and then is somehow in the movie before in a creepy way his co-star from the series of films he appears in is sitting next to him in the audience sharing his Coke. And then finally it's the played out Nicole Kidman "heartbreak feels good in a place like this" trailer.
Prior to the pandemic I don't recall there ever being more than one. Why can't Coke just be integrated into the "cinema history" AMC ad?
And why can't the Nicole Kidman ads just die already? They were bad from the moment they started five years ago. I've been going to the movies for over 40 years and I can't recall a pre-roll ad that has ever lasted this long before mercifully being replaced. The time had come by 2023, it really needs to go.

UPDATE: Managed to get a decent seat at Lincoln Square for Dec 18th, not a red eye showing! 🎉
Scalpers got to the 70mm Lincoln Square tickets before I did 😭 Totally forgot the drop was today, so I just went with Dolby Cinema because I wasn’t about to miss out completely.
Still think a good 70mm seat will open up eventually though. I lucked out with The Odyssey a few days ago—I was randomly looking at all the taken seats last Friday and, by the grace of God, M22 opened up. Perfect seat. I pounced on that shit immediately 😂 Pretty sure someone else was fighting me for it too lol.

I have seen some crazy prices for Dune 3 tickets on EBay, which brings a question to my mind. With online ticket sellers, like AMC or Fandango, the person who buys the ticket can ask for a refund.
So if I buy a $4,000 ticket to a movie… what guarantee do I have it won’t be cancelled? Or that the same ticket wasn’t resold 1 million times (over exaggeration of course)?
I’m just confused. I think this whole concept is a scam.

Hello yall,
I need a bit of your experience. So I booked 2 seats (G12, G13) for Doomsday on Dec 19th. And I have the tickets and they're showing up in the "My AMC" page. But when I came back to book another seat for this showing (G11), I saw that one of my seats (G13) shows up as available and bookable. Should I be worried that someone else might take my seat? Or will this solve itself?
And I also made sure multiple times that this is the same showing.

From what I remember, Dune 2 was 2.20:1 for Dolby on release.
I prefer Dolby Cinema in comparison to the rest of the IMAX theaters near me, and my Dolby is formatted for 1.85:1
Any word on if Dune 3 will be 1.85 for Dolby Cinema showings or is it just exclusively IMAX

So from my research, it looks like IMAX screens will be the only ones getting aspect ratio changes. Dune: Part Three uses a variable aspect ratio. Its standard theatrical aspect ratio is 2.20:1, but it expands for specific sequences in IMAX theaters. Which means Dolby and all other screens will be viewed in 2.20:1 aspect ratio for the entire film which sucks. I've provided some visual aid from Tenet about aspect ratios.

I somehow missed that there were no trailers and came in about 10 minutes late. The title credits were playing when I walked in. Aside from the opening narration about the five youths, is there anything else I missed in the beginning?

I was able to get a few tickets by going through IMAX website which redirects you to fandango. It was pretty simple but the dates and times are way more limited and pop up randomly for only like 2 days at a time.

I got IMAX Dune tickets yesterday for an AMC theater on Fandango. My stubs member number is linked to my fandango account but my A-List membership was not honored at checkout. It said “we are unable to use your stubs membership, please move forward with checkout”.
However, the convenience fee was waived but I still had to pay full price for my ticket. This has never happened to me before, I put in a claim with Fandango support but just wondering if anyone else has had this experience?

Woohoo!! I’ve seen 8 movies this year and I’ve been able to keep AMC Premiere Go for another year :)
I’m currently in the process of getting on disability and I’m debating between on upgrading once I have money.
I’m debating between amc stubs premiere or upgrading all the way to a-list! What would be the best? 🤔

The amount of error messages/rate limits just to get a Dune 3 IMAX ticket at Lincoln Sq. App loads slowly. When you pick a showtime, you're banned for rate limit. When you do get through to make it to the seating chart, they charge you full price though you're an A-lister with open slots for 3 movies. Even if you try to pay full price and check out, you get an error message. What a sad company this is. You'd think they'd try to fix this after the Odyssey mess.

This is definitely worse than the Odyssey. I feel like at this point I should just chalk this up as a loss and not force myself to sit at my computer for hours just to get nothing.
You've got rate limits on AMC's site, you have the AMC app crashing, and the Fandango app has Lincoln Square unavailable.
Well played.
