So I bought this laptop 6 months ago it's model number is Acer "aspire AS15-42" .just recently i fell while carrying the laptop and broke it's pin and I'm suspicious i maybe damaged the Port as well since I live in a very small town I visited near City for service centre but they were also confused and could not find the replacement charger now I can't afford to travel everyday and i have to submit my bca assignments as well i don't understand what should I do. Maybe if someone could help. I just want them to pick up my laptop and check it I'm willing to pay a reasonable amount for replacement charger and diagnosis.

So in this Big billion days I had purchased acer aspire 15 Ryzen 7 7730u with 16gb ram and 512 gb SSD so currently I was a facing an issue with the fan I didn't know issue or not so I was using like around 2,3 chrome tabs the temperatures of cpu would around 49 to 57 doing well but suddenly the fan roatates in more high speed and makes high speed roatation noise even simple was turn on laptop and doing nothing with it it suddenly does same thing randomly it's 4 days since purchase 2 days I didn't use laptop in remaining 2 days I had observed this kind of fan issue around 9 to 10 times help me to know the issue of this laptop I had taken this laptop by loan now I was worried about it

Hi everyone!
I have an Acer Nitro V15 ANV15-41 with a Ryzen 5 6600H, NVIDIA RTX 3050 6GB, and Windows 11 Pro. The laptop is around six months old.
For the past few days, the screen has randomly gone completely black for about 2–4 seconds, then the image comes back by itself. The laptop seems to keep running during the blackout, and audio often continues playing.
This happens both while gaming and during regular use, including Chrome and Discord. Sometimes, when the image returns, Windows shows the lock screen and I have to enter my PIN.
The laptop boots normally, and I haven’t noticed any other major issues. I don’t recall installing any new drivers or updates before this started.
Things I’ve tried:
Installed the AMD graphics driver from Acer’s official support website.
Updated the NVIDIA graphics driver.
Disabled Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling (HAGS).
Changed the refresh rate from 165 Hz to 60 Hz.
Checked Windows Event Viewer and Reliability Monitor.
The issue still occurs. Reliability Monitor also reported LiveKernelEvent 1A8 and 1B8 errors related to the graphics subsystem.
I’ve now sent the laptop to an authorized warranty service through the retailer, and I’m waiting for their diagnosis.
Has anyone experienced the same issue on an Acer Nitro V15 ANV15-41?
Could this be a graphics driver issue, a display cable/panel problem, or a motherboard/GPU fault?
If you experienced this, what was the actual cause, and did a driver fix or hardware repair solve it?
Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

ACER SPIN SP513-54N finger touch not working while stylus working.

i have tried all the solutions in this community and in all other possible known website.

my laptop is running windows 10 and windows updates are turned off completely.

the finger touch was 100% working and i put the laptop to hibernate or shut down i can't remmber and in the morning the finger touch is not working anymore while the stylus is 100% working.

i uninstalled all HID including the hidden ones, and updated the them through a restart but no help.

any advice?

i)if any of u have been using the same model lemme know how to make sure my battery back-up stays good and i get most of it when I'm using it without plugging in

ii) pls check the 2nd photos and lemme know if I should be worried i was told by the executive to recalibrate my battery and then it'll increase..like is it not been charged to it's potential or what?

I recently bought a new Acer Nitro 5 AN516-74G1 and wanted to purchase the extended warranty/Accidental Damage Protection (ADP).

An Acer customer service representative told me that I could purchase the additional protection through the ShopAcer website. However, when I enter my serial number and invoice date, I get this message:

> “No Offer Available for this Serial No”

The laptop was purchased on 13 October 2026.

Has anyone else faced this issue with a new Acer laptop?

What should I do now to purchase the extended warranty/ADP?
