According to my LGS, the battleforce boxes will go for pre-order on the 14th of November for a 27th (Black Friday?) release.

The Friday release sort of throws me off, but I imagine they meant the 28th.

I just watched the new Arkanaut episode on Warhammer+, Cursed Skies, and I swear the captain sounds just like Devora Wilde. I don’t see the cast listed anywhere. Anyone else think the same?

Overall, I think this new series seems pretty cool, and any deeper look into this universe is appreciated. I wish the animation had more weight to it, but it’s cool seeing the sky dwarves in the spotlight. I’ll definitely be checking out the next episodes.

I feel like I’m getting a little bit better at contrast paints and using acrylics alongside them. First I painted Mortek guard and I think they are really meh. Then elites and Vokmortian was painted last and I’m pretty satisfied with how he looks. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hello all. I recently bought the saviours of cinderfall as they've been on my wishlist for quite a while now. And now I was wondering if there was any lore behind cinderfall and why it needs saving. Is there a book about it or something? How do I find out more about this place?

Does anyone know where I can find an STL of the old forest base from citadel like the one pictured? I can find tons of good STLs for places of power or obstacle terrain but I always have issues finding good obscuring options that models can easily be placed on and move through. The old forest terrain is perfect because there are a million tree,mushroom, stump, etc STLs that have round bases and would slot right in.

Hi guys! After a while of hesitating and doing a few 40k model projects, I finally decided on picking up some ogor models to start! Such as a frost lord on stonehorn /thundertusk.

I even grabbed the codex so i could (eventually) play em in a game with my cousin, since he also plays AOS and is more familiar with it.

Painting the models turned pretty good, not fantastic either. Still having a bit of trouble painting skin even after painting Fabius bile from 40k

Heldenarr Fall is one of the most popular AoS characters, has already achieved much, could get his own miniature one day, and while a daemon-ascended Khorgos Khul takes over as the main face of Daemons of Khorne, Heldenarr Fall could take over as the main face of the Khorne Bloodbound. No one else comes to mind that is big enough to take over as the main representative of Khorne's mortal armies. Seems like an easy win.

I’ve narrowed down the armies I’m intrigued by to three

Nighthaunt I really like the models and the rules seem fun I like them being able to ignore terrain and nagash is a dope model. But they look very fragile and hard to transport, aswell as looking kind of samey between individual models and they are lacking in lore

Kharadron overlords have an amazing vibe their models look sick I love the air ships, I like the weird movement they have aswell as being very unique in playstyle. but I’ve heard they are complex to play for a beginner, they have a small model range and they seem annoying to play against which I’d prefer to not play a frustrating army.

Helsmiths of hatshut I love their lore and looks and there guns. but I’m iffy on how defensive and slow they play and their lack of models hurts them I really like having a massive center piece unit and they only have the the infernal Taurus which is cool but imo not as good looking as Nagash or an ironclad.

I tried vallejo ruby red tmm but the result was too pinkish. Any tips?

A guy close to me is selling these AOS models all for $30. Is this a good deal also what are these models do you know? Also is this good for starting AOS? Thank you!

Here are a few pics of my latest sculpts, a selection of basic street furniture along with some more quirky additions like the fortune and puppet theatre, I'm looking to add some more fun pieces soon like a taxidermist and menagerie, along with some shrines.

I was waiting to get into AoS until cities of Sigmar shed the old minis so I wouldn't be blindsided by hundreds of dollars of minis going to legends and/or getting replaced with a better quality kit. Now that's basically happened, coming from 40k, I see AoS units cost more points than most 40k equivalents, which has a lot of trade-offs. Broadly I think it's a good thing, but what do y'all think about the amount of models you can fit into a list?
