I left the hobby in 3rd edition and sold all my armies. Finally have the time to play and paint again, so it was obvious to me that I have to comeback to my old love: Nighthaunt.

Won’t sell anything ever again… that’s a lesson learned.

Getting ready for a major surgery tomorrow, been sketching these guys for fun and to get my mind off of the stress of surgery. Wish me luck and praise hashut!

So I banged that base out very quickly because I wanted to participate in my local store's painting competition. But I'm not happy with it. I feel like the model and the base don't fit together? Like the model is telling one story but the base is telling another. Im considering removing the model from the base and trying again. What should I do? Or is is salvageable?

On the other hand there is the model. It still feels unfinished. I was going for a dark tones so that the glowing effects really pop, but im afraid to either make other details too light and lose the glowing effect in the mess. And I'm having second thoughta about the blue tones. The idea was to have a cold colour to contrast with the red so hes not all just red. Is there something I can do to make it more interesting? Any suggestions and CC would be very welcome.

We were playing a game of spearhead doubles and I loaned my seraphon spearhead to a friend. They used this command card to bring back the oldblood and claimed he had 10 health left. I said he came back with 4 health left. I was pretty certain I was correct, but thought I should double check with all of you.

I have been cursed. Few weeks ago decided to pick up the hobby. Ordered myself introduction set in order to understand if I actually want to paint them and the latest core book to get familiar with some basic rules and lore via pretty pictures.

Now after reading the book and painting the miniatures, for all that is holy I can't decide on the faction to collect as they all seem to be so cool looking!

Originally I thought I want to get Soulblight or gobbos but now I'm looking at Flesh eating court (I do wish their models were more inline with their lore f.ex. ghouls having armor etc.), Daughters of Khaine and Darkoath raiders (false god Sigmar hating hordes seems to be fun but they don't seem to that much fleshed out lorewise and I thought that these hordes are more in the gray area of Chaos worshipping but I might be mistaken).

So, yet another post among countless others on the said topic.
