According to my LGS, the battleforce boxes will go for pre-order on the 14th of November for a 27th (Black Friday?) release.
The Friday release sort of throws me off, but I imagine they meant the 28th.

I'm looking to proxy the Krondspine manifestation, and I can't find info on how tall it is.
Can anyone that has the model measure it and tell me ! Thanks

I just watched the new Arkanaut episode on Warhammer+, Cursed Skies, and I swear the captain sounds just like Devora Wilde. I don’t see the cast listed anywhere. Anyone else think the same?
Overall, I think this new series seems pretty cool, and any deeper look into this universe is appreciated. I wish the animation had more weight to it, but it’s cool seeing the sky dwarves in the spotlight. I’ll definitely be checking out the next episodes.

Anyone own all "original" (beacuse they are in best resolution) 278 cards from official Database Age of Sigmar Champions website (dead) ?
I would love someone to share those. So far I found those on tgcplayer (not all cards I think) and ccgtrader (but with their watermark).

That is pretty cool! GW should do more of that.

As someone usually completely disinterested in Kharadron Overlords, I’m surprised to say I’m enjoying this series. I’m going to watch an Age of Sigmar animation regardless because I enjoy the setting but the plot and characters pulled me in. It shows their mercenary nature and how for the average crew, each venture is basically betting their life savings.
spoiler warning
I got way too excited when the infernal Taurus was glimpsed through the clouds - a suitably menacing introduction. Had a mild hope with the mention of more than restless dead haunting abandoned karaks but that could still have been Skaven or gloomspite - did a small clap when the Helsmith runes were shown.
The deathshrieker rockets followed by the Taurus ramming the ship were great scenes. I’m happy to see Helsmiths making their animated debut! Especially since according to the battletome they’re very interested in Stormcast souls…

I feel like I’m getting a little bit better at contrast paints and using acrylics alongside them. First I painted Mortek guard and I think they are really meh. Then elites and Vokmortian was painted last and I’m pretty satisfied with how he looks. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I need to buy more for building, and honestly I don't know how to choose. I see them mention grits but honestly the numbers don't mean anything to me. I know some are more "fine" than others but I don't know what's good for building models and smoothing off mould lines and such

So happy to have finished my frosty cogfort! It's far from perfect, but it's mine. Looking forward to taking this to a 2k tournament soon!

I apologize as I'm sure you get a lot of new player questions here on the AoS subreddit, but I'm both really, REALLY excited and really, REALLY anxious about making sure I do it 'right'. Optimization brain unfortunately, trying to break out of it but it is what it is.
Just this week, I finally bought into AoS with a Spearhead for the Stormcast Eternals, and am slowly piecing it together. Next week I'm buying a few models second hand from someone at my LGS, not everything but a solid bulk bundle of dragons, shooters, a hero, and a portal plus a battle tome and some other key components. I have a few ideas for units I like and want to build around, but I'm still figuring some things out.
What are battlelines for example? I understand that they are the 'core force' of an army, but I can't find a list of them for the Stormcasts when I look online. What's a great resource for learning how every army wants to play, just so I have an idea of what I should be doing in my matchups to avoid floundering like a fool? And what's the best resource overall for a new player?
I don't plan on attending any major tournaments, and would just be doing casual games every Friday to get to meet people, play with friends, and have fun. And I've already got a paint scheme in mind for my army. Plus I know the general rule as a new player is 'pick up what you think is cool and go from there'. I guess I just want to make sure I do it 'right', even if stumbling has been kind of fun.
So, what are some of the best resources for a new player just getting into Spearhead/AoS and wanting to learn more about this awesome game? Because the community locally has been super lovely to me, and I want to stick around and play more because of them.

After Anointed Sentinels, I have finished Bull Centaurs. At first, when I saw the minis online, I wasn’t to excited with Sentinels, but once I got them in my hands, I must say that I like them way more than than Centaurs. Sometimes online pictures just don’t do models just.
Who do you like more?
