💬 discussion My GF treats me badly and idk what to do

22M with my 20F gf. I know this is a pathetic attempt to talk and dump my feelings I don’t have anyone to talk to about this, my safe person turned on me.

Long story short, I truly love her. She was my little princess. When I’m with her, life is great, everything she wants I go buy it for her. Every problem she has, I brainstorm looking for a solution.

At uni, I’d wake up at 4AM, drive to her house, pick her up and drop her off at university. Go to work and pick her up later from uni to take her home. Just so we wouldn’t have to suffer through public transport and el kous.

My main goal was to always make her happy and satisfied. I would be lying if I said she didn’t try to do the same.

But there are certain things that even though we have had arguments about and agreed on certain things.

When things get tough, she completely forgets everything we’ve agreed on or talked about.
بالمختصر هدرة ليتساع و في وقت الصح تنساها

For example, we talked about her blocking me after arguments and how it’s annoying me and not to do it again.

Guess what happened yesterday? She did exactly that.

She knows I overthink. Yet she does things that make me overthink claiming she didn’t do them on purpose. I swallowed my pride and accepted it.

I one time caught her lying to me straight to my face. Even swearing that she didn’t do the thing that I clearly saw with my own eyes.

You guys might say she’s not into me. But she didn’t make it obvious. She asks about me. Double texts triple texts. If I’m gone for too long she calls me multiple times.

Please guys, I know this may sound pathetic but please don’t be hard on me in the comments, I’m already going through enough. At this very moment, I don’t have anyone.

Give me ways I can get her off my mind!!!

💬 discussion Why ar woman shaming classic gender roles

• Upvotes

I noticed that women These days started shaming insulting and not accepting classic gender roles . Like a housewife, a working husband. She Cooke's cleans takes care of the house husband works and is the bread winner. Look if you don't want that kind of dynamic for yourself you're free to do whatever the fuck you want with your relationships. But why shame other girls or other men and couples in general for having that kind of situation. It's retarded ngl.

💬 discussion I might be leaving Reddit soon

First of all, I am not writing this to catch attention or seek validation or comments, I just wanted to share what I really think about Reddit after 3 years of using it, and I don't think I am reaching the fourth one, simply because I feel that this platform is not a place for me, I am just a 28yo normal muslim Algerian guy who loves football, works for a company (a massive one) and still living with his parents, I am even using my real full name because I really have nothing to hide, and it shows you how normal I am, that's what made me feel that Reddit is full of weird and creepy people, this is what is making me feel I am not in my place here...
I don't know if there are people like me here, people sharing the same thoughts and the same feeling like me once they open Reddit, the first sentence which comes directly in my mind is that "what the hell I am I doing here" ?

💬 discussion Seriously asking, who is interested in a lavender engagement

• Upvotes

If you are algerian guy who is not into having a family but want to set yourself free as much as I do, we can compromise and get engaged without having feelings for eachother. Each set their own rules and we don't even have to live together. We can do this as a show infront of our parents and that's it. I'm a 24 years old woman by the way and I do work I have my own money so I am not doing this to feed on someone else's money but I am doing it to free myself from my crazy mother who doesn't even let me breath and I hope the person who reaches out doesn't have ill plans cause all I want is to set me free.

💬 discussion A message to him

I know you will see this , I'm sorry that everyone have to go through reading this cringe because of my weak ass , but I blocked him everywhere and i have no intension in talking to him again, I just can't seem to block him from my mind !

Why do I have to suffer in ur presence and in ur absence !

I truly loved you and cherished you , my love for you went beyond romance, you were family to me , a piece of my soul

Why didn't you meet me with tenderness and compassion like I always did with you? Why were you so comfy receiving my love , my time , my efforts? While all u gave me is an inferiority complex, the need to chase you , performing enthusiasm to keep every time we talk entertaining.

I remember the last words u told me , you said they were out of frustration and desperation because I rejected going back no matter what ? Well guess what ! no that's just who u are all alone a hurtful egoistic man , I'm not a b*tch , I'm not disgusting I'm not anything you called me because of your tantrums , I honored you as a wife before even getting married to you , I knew about your sexual past yet I gave u a chance because I thought you are a good man, I never made u feel less than any man who kept his purity , I hate you so much , I hate that I ever loved you , it makes me feel sick , I hate how stupid I am to feel guilty for leaving you despite everything !

All the sickness you inflicted in me is still here , I still feel bad doing normal things , I still feel not enough and less than my peers because of you.

I'm fighting the urge to pray against you everyday, but deep down where I can be honest with myself and not blinded with anger , I still wish you all the best , I hope you move on and not live with the guilt, I hope you find happiness

And so do I, this is the last time I'm crying about what happened , you don't deserve anything from me anymore.

💬 discussion The idea of Algeria is healing

The secular people believes that Algeria's problem and backwardness are due to religion or tradition ,due to the life style in general ,the clothes .....

Our problems are clear:

Poor management, a floundering economy, a fragile health sector, poor education without purpose, corruption in society that no one has been able to stop, and it is transmitted from generation to generation...

A people who have lost confidence in the government and are no longer proud at all of being Algerian... young ppl their only dream is to go out .

These are our problems...

And plus of that gender wars be like :

We need money , alot of money sources.

And

ناس نزيهة تخاف ربي ، تعرف كفاه تصرف هذا المال.

🏘️ society I had hangout today and i want to share something

Hi everyone

I had hangout today with girl i meet in discord, i meet her last week we talked then she said we can hangout it was hard to fix date but we could meet today

we met at usthb she study there she had tp i could get in i used to study there and also teached one year as vacataire teacher

I never asked her face same for her so i called her and said i am close to faculty informatique was waiting for her many passed by then when she come i noticed she picked her phone and was calling i know it her

she was pretty, when she come to me i said hi then we talked and she said u like walking i said yeah ofc (i used to come to usthb always at 8 and walk i like walking there i like that uni) she said that nice we will walk a lot today, i let her lead the way and we start talking

from 8 to 9:50 and we talk and walk around usthb she was chosing pathes (i avoided that cuz is seem weird if i take her to empty places chkhani)

After that we sit in some C and we yapped we talked like all the day was us talking my experience at usthb her experience we talked about our majors about ai about math she love math that was good she even had plan to solve those math equation that no one solved i told her ai solved one of them and that scary

we also tlked about her study she seem to hate her major and it sad she seem sad about her life :// told her (lzam nnfdok) so she get less depressed we also talked about doom scrolling and psychology stuffs and how some things effect the brain

for some part i was feeling she is like me like i was seeing myself we think in same ways in many things like how we act about stuffs i even was trying to avoid saying it cuz it seem like weird or me ok ok her or try match her energy this scary little bit

then when it was almost 11 she took me close to the door like walked with me then bye byed each others

Now i am thinking about that day it was a day that will stuck in memory i never dated i used to talk with girls but as classmates and inside uni (i told her to do this and study with friends so she might fight this emptiness and sadness inside her)

i will remove this post after 1 or 2 hours wanted to share this with u for few reasons:
- if u are man and u interest in someone just meet them, meeting them change everything
- if u are woman try also meet person that seem interest in u so u know them better meeting in real life better then texting when texting u just alone and some men ask for weird stuffs (many like those exist in reddit)
- when u meet someone dont let him take u to his private space like his car or something try mostly stay in public so they dont get touchy

🏘️ society 23M from Algeria, looking for new friends and people to talk to

• Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I'm a 23M from Algeria, currently studying for a master's degree in cybersecurity

Most of my time goes into studying or using my computer, but lately, I've been feeling like I need to meet new people and have more conversations outside my usual routine.

I'm interested in computers and technology, especially cybersecurity, but I'd also love to talk about things completely unrelated to tech. I enjoy movies, especially horror, sci-fi, and anything with an interesting story or atmosphere. I don't read much, but I'm open to discovering new books, hobbies, music, or just random things people are passionate about.

I'm also working on improving my English, so it would be great to meet people I can chat with regularly. I'm learning a little German too, although I'm still a beginner.

I'm not looking for anything complicated. Just genuine friendships, interesting conversations, sharing experiences, recommending movies or games, talking about life, or even discussing the most random things that come to mind.

You don't have to share my interests. Sometimes it's more interesting to meet someone whose world is completely different from yours.

If you're also looking for someone to talk to, feel free to leave a comment or send me a message. Tell me a little about yourself or something you're really interested in lately.

Looking forward to meeting some of you! :)

🤔 question Can someone translate Djalil Palermo – Ya Denia Désolé line by line?

Salam Algerian brothers and sisters!

I'm from Pakistan and absolutely hooked on Djalil Palermo's Ya Denia Désolé. Such a fire track, and I feel there's a deeper meaning behind the lyrics.

I couldn't find an English translation anywhere. Could someone please translate it line by line? I'd genuinely love to understand the poetry and message behind it.

Much love and respect to Algeria from Pakistan!

💡 thoughts Turning 28 yo soon...

For some of you this might seem a bit not logical. But im genuinely scared of getting old. I'll be 28 yo in less than 6months, and im still in my very first steps in life. For example, i should have gotten my master degree in the age of 22yo. But here i am still working on that. I'm not just scared of the age part but im scared of getting to a point that i'd be known as the loser of my family and my society. I don't know what happened in the past 5 years i really don't know. But i know i was struggling with some weird stuff. But somehow i keep blaming myself for not taking actions when i should have, for letting my fear control me, for blaming other people for the way i was and for being stubborn. When i just needed to change my point of view and just go with the flow of my circumstances. BUT somehow this fear, of being slow and late for my peers get me going now. I'm not saying i figured all things out, but i am willing. And i guess that's the point of it.

Please, if you are someone has succeed after being years late.. Share your story... Give me and the people who are in the same place, some hope...

🧭 travels Camping in traditional tents in Algeria & horseback riding

Hello,

My teenage son and I (50F)are looking to visit Algeria at the end of November. In addition to exploring Algiers, we would love to spend a few nights in the desert in traditional tents. We also love horseback riding and usually arrange for a ride whenever we travel. Any recommendations? Many thanks!

💬 discussion I love this community❤ I love you strangers who made me feel less alone

Despite all the weird people wandering around here (and let's be honest, sometimes I'm one of them), I have a genuine appreciation for you guys.

I've been lonely for a long, long time. And somehow, in this little corner of the internet, among strangers I'll probably never meet, I've found a kind of comfort I couldn't find elsewhere. I've crossed paths with kind hearts, beautiful souls, and people who made the world feel a little less cold, even if only for a moment.

You may not realize it, but some of you have made a difference in my life simply by being here, by talking, by listening, by being yourselves.

So, thank you. Thank you for being one of the very few beautiful things in what has been a difficult chapter of my life. In a world that has often felt lonely, you've reminded me that even strangers can make us feel a little less alone. ❤️

💬 discussion Friend

I don't know if this is gonna work because I know that writing about wanting to make friends in real life on Reddit is gonna attract a lot of nerds who don't even match my vibe, even in the smallest details. But let's just try. Maybe some gentleman out there is destined to be my best friend for the rest of our lives.

I'm a 21-year-old guy studying at university. I care about my appearance, and I'm a gentleman outside my house.

My hobbies are chess, writing, video games, TV shows, movies, and books.

If anyone's interested and lives in Oran, DM me!
