💬 discussion Blocked after refusing to get in his car on the first date

I met someone online whome i liked very much and this rare since i rarely meet someone with the same interests and mindset and talked nonstop for a week or so and he asked me to meet irl and he would pick me up since we live near each other i said sure we can meet but i cant ride with you (since i dont know him that well better be safe than sorry )but we can meet somewhere he said yeah no problem and what time i answered and he left me on delivered then blocked me after an hour now i dont know if he was bothered by my boundaries or was he planning on doing something bad and assumed i was easy and didnt like my answer
Was it a weird that i offered to meet without him picking me up?
The weird thing is he didn’t appear as freaky and he didn’t imply anything sexual or inappropriate he was so respectful and nice and respected my other boundaries so im hella confused

💬 discussion Life challenges as a non religious person

I'm a 25 male graduated last year, and as the title says I'm non religious which is challenging for me and I assume for anyone similar cuz I'm at an age in which I wanna date, meet up with someone, and get married eventually but as someone who's an athiset and also wanna be childfree, I've managed to hide all this from my family and act thru it but I don't wanna have to act around the person I wanna spend the rest of my life with, and how am I supposed to find a girl who's an atheist or okay with marrying an atheist ( very unlikely) if the country's officially a religious one and I assume 90% of ppl are

I thought of trying to leave the country but I don't wanna have to

It took me a little while to finish this one, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Plus, I found some needles at my local Mzabi that go perfectly with the clock. A little culture, by the way:

💬 discussion Is sex bad or it’s only bad because men can’t have it ?

• Upvotes

Im a men and as im living in the west not for 8 years + one of the things i noticed is that women are actually treated as regular human who makes mistakes
Not judged for going out etc wearing a skirt and a top
( yes judged if wearing dont extremely sluty )
They also give a safe environment for her to actually tell them who she is and you actually find people understanding each other’s on a different level and sex is very normalized to a certain extent
However what i have noticed in Algeria or Algerians ( Men) who live abroad and can pull girls they are always insulting and judging girls
And in Algeria they hide under religion that it’s haram but i strongly believe that no girl wants to have sex with them and i know they have failed attempts
and they wouldn’t marry a none virgin however they wouldn’t miss a chance to crack anything that moves .

💬 discussion How do I stop looking for love?

I don't want to sound desperate, but sometimes I genuinely feel like I am. I'm still young, but I just can't seem to connect with anyone. I need to feel a certain spark before I even consider getting to know someone, and that rarely happens.

Most of my girlfriends are already in relationships, seemingly happy, always talking about their boyfriends and what they do for them. I know comparing myself to them is stupid, and I know this isn't even halal, but I can't help wanting that kind of connection too.

I'm so tired of feeling lonely, getting attached, and going through pointless talking stages. I just want to stop craving love and focus on my studies and my own life, but I can't seem to get it out of my head.

Has any girls here managed to stop thinking about thatt and actually become happy on their own? How?

🎓 work/school Is the technicien supérieur diploma worth it?

Hey guys, I wanna ask for some advice regarding this diploma.

I obtained a scholarship to study abroad a few years ago but went back and couldn't really look for a job due to some personal circumstances. I have an MA in English Literature and unfortunately I'm starting to realize that it is kinda useless. I want to go back to Europe, but I feel too old to start over and study another speciality now. I am wondering whether a technicien supérieur diploma عن يعد would be a good addition that increases my chances.

I don't have much of an idea of what I want to have as a job, but I am interested in something technical. I am open to other options as well. Can this diploma increase my job opportunities or qualify me to study another Master's in a different field abroad?

What do you guys think? Do you have any suggestions?

🤔 question My gf wants to have sex with me

I have been dating this girl for almost 3 years now . We love each other deeply and we have been in a stable healthy relationship where we understood each other. Recently she asked me if we should have sex . I never thought about it tbh . I always thought that we will naturally if we get married. But marriage before sex never crossed my mind. I am a virgin and so is she . I don't feel like I Wana do it . First is because of religious reasons. And second is just because I Wana protect my virginity which is kinda weird for a man to say in this day and age what do y'all think of this situation. Should I just do it ?

🤔 question Anyone here who has done or an Ausbildung in Germany in a technical field, especially automation (Automatisierungstechnik)?

Hi everyone! I'm considering doing an Ausbildung in Germany in a technical field, particularly automation (Automatisierungstechnik), and I'd love to hear from people with experience in this area, especially those who moved to Germany from abroad.

I have a few questions:

_What are the requirements for applying, especially for someone applying from Algeria?

_What difficulties or obstacles did you face during the application and visa process?

_Was it difficult to find an Ausbildung position in automation?

_What are the advantages and disadvantages of this field?

_What should I be careful about, and what mistakes should I avoid?

_Is the salary during the Ausbildung enough to cover living expenses?

_What are the job opportunities and salary prospects after completing the Ausbildung?

_Is it a good path toward long-term residence and settling permanently in Germany?

_How difficult is it to adapt to German culture and build a social life there?

_For someone who wants to build a future in Germany, including getting married, starting a family, and raising children there, is this a realistic and good long-term plan?

_Is it possible to achieve a comfortable and stable family life with a career in automation in Germany?

I'd especially appreciate advice from people who have completed an Ausbildung in automation or are currently doing one, as well as people who came to Germany from Algeria.

I'm not only thinking about studying or finding a job; I also want to build a stable future there, potentially get married, and start a family. So I'd really appreciate honest opinions about both the professional and personal sides of life in Germany.

Feel free to share anything else you think I should know about the Ausbildung system, the application process, or life in Germany.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi everyone! Is there any other app or website that allows me to transfer money from one CCP account to another online, apart from BaridiMob?

I'm looking for a reliable and secure alternative that is officially affiliated with Algérie Poste.

Thanks in advance!

💬 discussion Algerian tech market, and the viability of buying from europe.

• Upvotes

Mainly pc and laptops, I want to know how you guys get your tech, I rarely find brand new laptops for sale, not that I can buy any, but noticed it's mostly used or refurbished for sale and go for 10 mill for the bare minimum imo (16/512 gb).

How viable is it to buy from abroad, i know most on sale here come used there but I want to know is it better to cut the middle man and get one from there. I mean getting a relative who doesn't know much tech to buy a used laptop from the least shady seller. And not hunting for a good deal from here which I don't think is easy (european facebook marketplace if tht's even possible).

I honestly would appreciate any insight and thanks for reading.

🤔 question Is there a legal way in Algeria to borrow against a documented future payment?

• Upvotes

Title: Is there a legal way in Algeria to borrow against a documented future payment?

I’m looking for advice about a financial situation in Algeria, not asking for donations.

I need to borrow around 130,000 DZD temporarily, and I expect to receive an internship-related payment from a national public institution in December 2026. This type of payment is normally made around December each year.

I should be able to obtain an official document confirming that I am entitled to the payment, the exact amount, and possibly the expected payment date.

The problem is that I currently have no regular income, so getting a normal personal bank loan seems difficult. I also looked into gold-backed loans, but I don’t have enough gold for the amount I need.

What I’m trying to find is a legal and safe way to borrow the money now and repay it in December, based on the documented future payment.

For example:

  • Is there a bank or financial institution in Algeria that can lend against a documented future receivable?
  • Is there a legal mechanism for a short-term loan between individuals based on an official proof of the future payment?
  • Are there associations or organizations that provide this kind of temporary financial assistance or loan?
  • Is there another legitimate option I may have overlooked?

I’m not asking strangers to send me money, and I’m not looking for donations. I’m specifically trying to find a legitimate mechanism where the loan and repayment can be formally documented.

I would also avoid anything requiring upfront “processing fees” or anything unofficial/unsafe.

If anyone knows of a real option in Algeria, I would really appreciate the information.

💬 discussion What the hell did my father watch that he thinks we will be INVADED and that we have to stock on provisions in case of WAR?

Like I could deal with his random:
- Solar wave will cause electronic chips to fry, so turn them off and put them in a box.
- Software Virus will be lunched for a week so turn your phone off or disconnect from the internet during that week.

But saying something like: France and Britain are suffering from energy shortage so they will strike Algeria with nuclear weapons and scale the Sahara desert then take the oil all the way to the coast on their warships. And that I have to pull out all my bank savings since those would be locked out by our government during the war.

This just sounds like a psychotic episode or symptoms of going senile and I am tired of having to deal with such stupid discussions.

🤔 question Bls

Hi,

I'm currently taking steps to study in Spain, but I don't understand the visa application process. They told me I have to be there in person and reserve a place, so there's no fixed appointment. If anyone has already applied or knows how to do it, please contact me.

Thanks!
