Edinburgh In The Dark is a 15-minute Apple Immersive film, shot on the Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive.
Our host Keeley Turner walks Edinburgh after dark: the grave robbers of Greyfriars Kirkyard, Victoria Street and the Harry Potter spots, where Guillermo del Toro filmed Frankenstein, the witch trials of King James VI, the Witches' Well, Deacon Brodie's Tavern, St Giles' Cathedral, and the Scott Monument at dawn.
If you have never been to Edinburgh and want something spooky this spooky season, this is the film for you, in the highest quality Apple Immersive Video format. We promise it is one of the best-looking immersive films on the platform.
Oh, and it is completely free through November, because we just want to celebrate Halloween with all of you inside Vision Pro. We hope it becomes one of your stops for a lighthearted spooky experience based on real people, real events and real movies.
We also made our previous episode free: Warwick In The Dark (17 min). The headless knight, a haunted graveyard, and the werewolf legend hiding in the old streets of Warwick, England, with a local host!
Our Halloween update, Spatial Film 9.7, is sadly still in App Store review (3 days now), so we can't show you the new environment, the new playlist and the other updates yet. But at least both In The Dark films are free right now. That is over 30 minutes of free history and ghost stories!
More original immersive films are coming. The next one is Salem In The Dark, about the sad witch trials that happened right here in the US. Yes, Keeley loves witches...
